[0:19] revelation 17 verse number 7 says this

[0:22] and the angels said unto me

[0:24] wherefore did thou marvel i will tell

[0:26] you the mystery of the woman

[0:28] and of the beast that carrieth her which

[0:30] hath seven heads and ten horns

[0:33] the beast of thou sawest was and is not

[0:35] and shall ascend out of the bottomless

[0:37] pit

[0:38] and go into perdition and they that

[0:40] dwell on the earth shall wonder

[0:42] whose names were not written in the book

[0:44] of life from the foundation of the world

[0:46] when they behold the beast that was and

[0:48] is not and yet is

[0:49] and here is the mind which hath wisdom

[0:52] the seven heads are seven

[0:54] mountains on which the woman sitteth and

[0:56] there are seven kings

[0:58] five are fallen and one is and the other

[1:01] is not yet come

[1:02] and when he cometh he must continue a

[1:04] short space

[1:05] and the beast that was and is not even

[1:08] he is the eighth

[1:09] and is of the seven and go within the

[1:11] perdition

[1:12] the ten horns which thou sawest are ten

[1:15] kings

[1:16] which have received no kingdom as yet

[1:18] but receive

[1:19] power as kings one hour with the beast

[1:22] these have one mind and shall give their

[1:24] power and strengthen to the beast

[1:26] these shall make war with the lamb and

[1:28] the lamb shall overcome them

[1:30] for he is the lord of lords and the king

[1:32] of kings

[1:33] and they are they that are with him are

[1:36] called and chosen

[1:37] and faithful he saith unto me the waters

[1:40] which thou sawest

[1:42] where the horse sitteth are peoples and

[1:44] multitudes and nations

[1:46] and tongues well again we're back in

[1:49] revelation

[1:49] 17 and last week we talked about the

[1:52] revelation of who

[1:54] the mystery harlot is the great babylon

[1:56] the mother of all harlots it's a roman

[1:59] catholic

[1:59] church and so we're going to reveal a

[2:02] little bit more of the mystery

[2:04] today now the mystery as we mentioned is

[2:06] it's secretive

[2:08] and the mystery itself this does not

[2:10] mean that it's mysterious but rather

[2:12] that it was kept

[2:13] secret now the catholic church is an

[2:16] organization that operates

[2:18] mainly in secret the vatican is known

[2:21] for its many secret chambers

[2:23] rites and rituals even the bible was

[2:26] kept from the people at one time

[2:29] services were held in latin rather than

[2:32] in the common language

[2:34] in order to keep them secretive

[2:37] now the mask is about to be removed and

[2:39] the secret revealed

[2:41] hence revelation and so

[2:44] the mystery itself the secret chambers

[2:48] and the secret orders and at one time

[2:51] teaching in latin the services so the

[2:54] common person wouldn't

[2:55] understand it also we find here in verse

[2:59] number eight the mystery of the beast

[3:01] now the beast is none other than the

[3:03] antichrist

[3:04] and has been mentioned in revelation

[3:06] chapter six

[3:08] now his works will cause unbelievers to

[3:11] wonder in amazement after the beast

[3:14] now this verse presents the beast in

[3:16] four different aspects

[3:18] number one was it says that the beast

[3:21] was

[3:21] speaks about the past history of the

[3:24] roman empire

[3:26] and his power in it is not

[3:29] speaks of the present condition of the

[3:32] fragmented roman empire

[3:34] number three he shall ascend out of the

[3:36] bottomless pit

[3:38] speaks about the reactivation of the

[3:40] roman empire by

[3:41] satan through this man the antichrist

[3:45] number four he shall go into perdition

[3:48] speaks of his ultimate

[3:49] in perdition means ruin loss or

[3:52] destruction

[3:54] and revelation chapter 20 verse 10 talks

[3:56] about that in fact i'd like to read it

[3:58] to you

[3:59] today from revelation 20 verse 10.

[4:02] the bible says this and the devil was

[4:05] that deceived them was cast into the

[4:07] lake of fire

[4:08] and brimstone watch this where the beast

[4:11] and the false prophet

[4:12] are and shall be tormented day

[4:15] and night forever and ever

[4:19] there is a judgment coming to the

[4:21] antichrist

[4:23] and he will spend eternity in the

[4:25] bottomless pit of fire forever

[4:29] now the mystery of the seven heads of

[4:32] the beast in verse number nine

[4:34] it talks about the seven heads are seven

[4:38] mountains that it sits upon now rome is

[4:42] called the

[4:43] lofty city of seven peaks there are

[4:46] seven hills surrounding the city of rome

[4:49] aventine caleon capital line

[4:52] esquilene palatine

[4:55] and then the last one is the millennial

[4:59] even the roman catholic church itself

[5:03] in the confirmatory edition of the bible

[5:06] that's the new edition new york 1963

[5:10] page 339 so the new edition new york

[5:15] page 339 confirmatory edition of the

[5:18] bible

[5:19] says this babylon was a synonym

[5:24] for rome so mystery babylon

[5:27] is rome even the roman catholic church

[5:30] bible itself says that so

[5:33] the seven hills represent the the seven

[5:36] heads represent the

[5:38] seven hills now in verse 10 there's a

[5:40] reference to john's time period

[5:43] it says about the kingdoms that were in

[5:46] power notice it says

[5:48] the seven heads verse 10 there were

[5:50] seven kings

[5:52] five are fallen one is

[5:55] and the other is not yet come and when

[5:58] he cometh he must continue a short space

[6:02] so in that time frame five kingdoms were

[6:04] in power and then fell

[6:06] one of them was in power in john's day

[6:09] one would yet come into power in the

[6:11] future

[6:12] and out of that would come the

[6:14] antichrist

[6:15] now possibly it could be that the powers

[6:17] that fell were

[6:18] egypt assyria babylon

[6:22] media persia and greece now in john's

[6:26] day in 1890 when he's writing around

[6:28] that time during the book of revelation

[6:31] rome was in power rome existed in john's

[6:34] day

[6:34] and it compromised the sixth power now

[6:38] the roman empire revived is yet to

[6:40] happen it's future

[6:42] to john and out of it would come the

[6:45] eighth king and that eighth king we see

[6:47] in verse number 11

[6:49] is the antichrist so as mentioned this

[6:53] antichrist he was alive dies come to

[6:56] life again

[6:58] in revelation 13 we talked about that he

[7:00] receives a wound that's likened to death

[7:03] and then he revives from that woman

[7:05] comes back

[7:06] so the eighth king is the antichrist

[7:09] it's future

[7:10] it has not happened during the book of

[7:12] revelation and it has not happened yet

[7:14] in fact you can go back and study

[7:16] history and there has not been a revived

[7:18] roman empire yet

[7:20] but there will be one day now we've got

[7:23] also in verse 11

[7:25] the mystery of the ten horns and it

[7:27] continues on into verse 12.

[7:29] says the ten horns which thou sawest are

[7:32] ten kings

[7:33] which have received no kingdom as yet

[7:35] but receive power as kings

[7:37] one hour with the beast so the horns

[7:40] speak of power

[7:42] and in this case these ten horns refer

[7:44] to the ten kings

[7:46] that will gather themselves together in

[7:48] one mind with the beast

[7:51] to oppose and make war with jesus christ

[7:54] and his redeemed who are with the lord

[7:57] now this is accepted to be the revived

[7:59] roman

[7:59] empire which compromises what used to be

[8:02] rome

[8:03] no doubt other nations will join in with

[8:07] this assault

[8:08] and will end up with the battle of

[8:10] armageddon taking place

[8:12] at the end now in verse number 15 it

[8:15] references the water

[8:17] the mystery of the waters refers to this

[8:19] verse

[8:20] in one in which the papacy

[8:23] is the most powerful human force in the

[8:26] world

[8:27] and that it controls people from many

[8:29] nations in many languages

[8:30] the pope has influence over many

[8:34] governments

[8:35] the pope has power and if you have

[8:39] what's considered to be a good

[8:40] catholic in leadership that ultimately

[8:44] if they're a good

[8:45] catholic they would take instruction

[8:48] from the pope to govern

[8:51] to rule and to guide their respective

[8:54] countries

[8:55] the pope would have access to them

[8:59] and if they were a good catholic under

[9:01] good catholic rules

[9:03] they would do basically what the pope

[9:05] says

[9:07] now we see this mystery that it's many

[9:10] nations and many peoples affected

[9:12] by the power of the roman catholic

[9:15] church

[9:16] so again the mystery babylon

[9:20] it's the roman catholic church

[9:23] mystery babylon and the seven

[9:26] hills representing the seven mountains

[9:29] there

[9:30] around rome the city that set on seven

[9:32] hills

[9:33] is rome the vatican you think about the

[9:37] power of

[9:38] the catholic church having its own bank

[9:41] its own armed forces its own parcel of

[9:43] land

[9:44] it's its own country inside the country

[9:48] it's amazing to consider all the

[9:50] properties they own throughout all the

[9:52] world

[9:52] all the political influence they have

[9:55] and everything else it's

[9:57] easy to see that the devil would use

[9:59] that to bring about the power of the

[10:01] antichrist

[10:03] so today as we look into mystery babylon

[10:06] again very clearly illustrated in

[10:09] scripture

[10:09] and studied throughout historical times

[10:12] it references

[10:13] the roman catholic church

[10:16] but again as i've said just because

[10:19] somebody's a catholic doesn't mean

[10:20] they're hopeless

[10:22] jesus christ is offering hope and

[10:24] salvation to anyone

[10:26] that is willing to believe they don't

[10:29] have to go to mary

[10:30] they don't have to go to the pope they

[10:32] don't have to go to the priest to get

[10:34] forgiveness of their sins the bible says

[10:36] there's one mediator between god and men

[10:39] it's the man

[10:40] christ jesus you go directly to jesus

[10:43] and he can forgive your sins cleanse you

[10:46] of your sins and give you

[10:48] opportunity to have a home in heaven

[10:51] and i'm excited to look forward to the

[10:54] future in heaven

[11:04] antichrist

[11:06] will lose jesus christ will return to

[11:08] this earth he will

[11:10] win the battle of armageddon we'll talk

[11:16] jerusalem

[11:17] for a thousand years but jesus

[11:20] and god always offer mankind a free

[11:23] choice

[11:24] so after he's reigned for a thousand

[11:26] years satan will be loosed for a season

[11:32] they've always had a choice

[11:34] to choose god or to reject god

[11:37] and if they choose to go against god

[11:39] they'll face that final battle

[11:42] and then one day they will all every man

[11:44] woman boy and girl

[11:46] and those that don't understand what

[11:48] gender that they are

[11:49] will all stand before god and will give

[11:52] an account

[11:53] to him and if they don't know jesus

[11:56] christ as their savior

[11:57] they'll stand at the great white throne

[12:00] judgment seat of christ which we'll talk

[12:01] about in upcoming videos

[12:04] and they'll hear him say seven words you

[12:06] never want to hear from god

[12:08] depart from me i never knew you

[12:12] and then immediately they'll be cast

[12:14] into the lake of fire

[12:15] forever and ever

[12:23] there's hope for them to be saved keep

[12:26] praying for them
