[0:00] so I think of it as like there's the

[0:01] work and there's the work behind the

[0:03] work right is the way I just think about

[0:06] this and like the work is talking to

[0:09] customers working with engineers and

[0:11] designers to build things analyzing data

[0:14] identifying opportunities figuring out

[0:16] what you needs to change and iterating

[0:18] like that's really the core Loop right

[0:20] it's then there's all the work behind

[0:21] the work every single intermediary

[0:23] output product briefs product specs

[0:25] technical specs figma docs exec decks

[0:28] road map reviews strategy reviews data

[0:31] reviews all those sorts of things and

[0:33] over time because of the cost of cross

[0:35] coordination across a bunch of different

[0:37] teams you end up having to spend as much

[0:39] time socializing the work the process of

[0:42] like a product review goes from we're

[0:46] here to think hard about this problem so

[0:48] that we get better ideas and build

[0:50] better stuff to I need to convince this

[0:53] executive that I'm smart and that I know

[0:55] what I'm doing and just get a green

[0:57] check mark on it right I'm I'm trying to

[1:00] get an A+ and move on and I think as

[1:02] soon as you see processes that start to

[1:04] feel like we did a meeting before the

[1:06] meeting to socialize the thing so that

[1:08] the meeting was just a checkpoint that's

[1:10] no longer part of the creative process

[1:12] that's part of like the approval process

[1:14] and so I find that I as a leader it's my

[1:19] job to see those things CU they tend to

[1:21] happen organically right identify them

[1:24] and rip them out as much as we can today

[1:27] my guest is fared mosat a growth veteran

[1:30] who has worked at
