[0:15] We're going to read from Isaiah 54:1-8.
[0:20] And the word of God reads like this.
[0:23] Sing, oh barren,
[0:26] thou that didst not bear. Break forth
[0:29] into singing
[0:30] and cry aloud, thou that didst not
[0:33] travail with child.
[0:35] For more are the children of the
[0:37] desolate than the children of the
[0:39] married wife, saith the Lord.
[0:42] Enlarge the place of thy tent,
[0:45] and let them stretch forth the curtains
[0:47] of thine habitations, thine habitations.
[0:50] Spare not, lengthen thy cords, and
[0:53] strengthen thy stakes.
[0:55] For thou shalt break forth on the right
[0:57] hand and on the left, and thy seed shall
[0:59] inherit the Gentiles and make the
[1:02] desolate cities to be inhabited.
[1:05] Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed,
[1:07] neither be thou confounded, for thou
[1:10] shalt not be put to shame.
[1:13] For thou shalt forget the shame of thy
[1:15] youth and shalt not remember the
[1:17] reproach of thy widowhood anymore.
[1:21] For thy maker is thine husband, the Lord
[1:24] of hosts is his name, and thy redeemer,
[1:26] the Holy One of Israel,
[1:29] the God of the whole earth shall he be
[1:31] called.
[1:33] For the Lord hath called thee as a woman
[1:34] forsaken and grieved in spirit and a
[1:37] wife of youth when thou wast refused,
[1:40] saith the Lord, saith thy God. For a
[1:43] small moment have I forsaken thee,
[1:46] but with great great mercies will I
[1:48] gather thee.
[1:50] In a little wrath I hid my face from
[1:52] thee for a moment, but with everlasting
[1:54] kindness will I have mercy on thee,
[1:58] saith the Lord thy redeemer.
