[0:00] I think there's like two kind of broad

[0:02] categories of automation one is API

[0:05] based Automation and then there's

[0:06] another type of automation that is

[0:08] what's called like robotic process

[0:10] automation is the industry name for RPA

[0:13] it's basically keyboard and mouse

[0:14] automation if you want to think about

[0:15] them and they have tra they have like

[0:16] pros and cons uh the API based

[0:18] automation this is what zappier does

[0:20] it's very permission oriented right you

[0:22] have to go get API Keys um but it's also

[0:24] way more reliable the API space is much

[0:27] smaller so it's simpler to create

[0:28] automations over and this is app without

[0:31] any AI to date or was able to sort of

[0:33] get as many users as we did the the

[0:35] downsides of it are that the API is

[0:37] limited um and this is where RPA kind of

[0:39] like gets you know P exciting just due

[0:41] to the sort of nature of the technology

[0:43] without any AI it tends to be very hard

[0:45] to set up because you have to like

[0:46] literally like you know oh follow my

[0:48] mouse and keyboard and copy this

[0:50] sequence of patterns and so I think

[0:51] that's why generally like zapier and the

[0:53] API base has sort of won the day so far

[0:56] now importantly I've sort of described

[0:58] the world without AI I do think that

[1:00] like this RPA based sort of future is a

[1:03] much better one if we can figure out how

[1:05] to get it to work because you get

[1:07] anything that a sort of human could do

[1:08] with a given piece of software my belief

[1:10] today is that we need weak forms of AGI

[1:13] in order to get um the reliability and

[1:16] the setup ease of use high enough on

[1:19] let's call it the RPA style
