[0:01] Today's arts and crafts segment
[0:03] >> This is a CBS News special report.
[0:08] We have reports of uh air raid sirens
[0:10] going off in Tel Aviv. Uh Tom Fenton in
[0:13] Tel Aviv, can you begin at the beginning
[0:15] and uh and tell us what's happening
[0:17] there?
[0:18] >> Okay, let me hold this phone up. Maybe
[0:19] you can hear.
[0:24] The sirens have been going off uh for
[0:26] the last uh minute and a half. Uh the
[0:29] radio has been broadcasting the message
[0:31] that uh people should put on their gas
[0:33] mask, go into their sealed up rooms, and
[0:34] take all the uh
[0:36] preventive measures for a gas attack.
[0:39] Uh this is the time of evening when one
[0:42] was expected if one were to come. People
[0:44] in Israel
[0:45] uh were strongly suspicious that there
[0:46] would be a second night of attacks. Uh
[0:49] the question is whether these attacks
[0:50] will be conventional like last night uh
[0:53] and cause a little damage or whether
[0:55] these could be uh chemical warfare. Uh
[0:58] one thing is certain, the Israeli
[0:59] government apparently has not yet
[1:01] responded to the first attack.
[1:03] There's been one hit.
[1:08] We've just heard one hit somewhere in
[1:10] Tel Aviv.
[1:14] >> It all begins again. Seven
[1:16] >> It's another another night uh
[1:19] Charles and uh I think after this one
[1:21] there's no question that the Israeli
[1:23] government will respond. Will respond.
[1:26] They held off after the first attack.
[1:28] It's hard to see them absorbing two
[1:30] attacks like this
[1:31] and uh and doing nothing.
[1:36] >> Tom, what what uh
[1:38] what form would you expect Israeli
[1:40] retaliation to take? To try to find
[1:42] those mobile Scud missile launchers and
[1:45] take them out or an attack on Baghdad?
[1:48] >> I
