[0:00] down on it that's compressing the air
[0:02] and it's a warm totally warm system
[0:04] where the way a normal uh low pressure
[0:06] system over the continental US works is
[0:09] the air rises and cools and so it's a
[0:12] totally opposite meteorological engine
[0:15] that drives the system this is a
[0:16] self-contained thing in actual fact it's
[0:19] a fairly precarious balance that makes
[0:20] one of these systems work and that's why
[0:23] they get knocked apart so easily it has
[0:24] to be under just the right kind of of
[0:26] conditions well with that in mind what
[0:28] do you expect that will H will happen to
[0:30] the storm once it hits land do you think
[0:32] it will regenerate and go off I think
[0:34] what we're going to see what we're going
[0:35] to see is once the eye comes ashore here
[0:38] we're going to see the eye get all kinds
[0:39] of funny shape we're going to see the
[0:41] storm distort some but uh but I think
[0:44] it's going to maintain its Integrity
[0:46] pretty much and go out in the gulf and
[0:47] turn into another significant hurricane
[0:49] I do think it will now we do have storm
[0:51] strike going all right let's go to that
[0:53] now and guess what here we can see right
[0:55] on the edge of the screen maybe you guys
[0:57] ought to take the the little logo off
[0:59] there about that look at that so we are
[1:01] getting lightning and look at this this
[1:03] is this is just off of the homestead
[1:05] this is La key right down in here so
[1:07] right off of La key now let's go back to
[1:09] the radar and see if we can uh do the
[1:11] same kind of thing well la ke is right
[1:13] here so I think we're seeing the edge of
[1:14] these thunderstorms right here producing
[1:17] lightning
