[0:00] anyone can do this it doesn't need to be
[0:02] a PM it doesn't need to be an engineer
[0:04] so one and don't let your your own skill
[0:07] set or your own perceptions of what you
[0:09] are good at get in the way of your
[0:12] Ambitions be ready for like a decent
[0:15] amount of emotional Whiplash and what I
[0:17] mean by this is I think that every
[0:20] single high on this journey was followed
[0:23] by a low because I think it's very
[0:26] natural to think that once you hit a
[0:28] high The Next Step will be up to the
[0:30] right and it almost never is like for
[0:32] example when we did the hackathon and we
[0:35] the zoom chat blew up I was on like such
[0:38] a high I was like this is incredible
[0:40] everyone's aligned we can just build
[0:42] this thing this is amazing and then it
[0:44] was like no you need to like prove
[0:46] yourself and you need to like build a
[0:47] vision so it was like step backwards
[0:48] then when we presented the vision it was
[0:50] incredibly well received I was like okay
[0:52] amazing so now we can like go forward
[0:54] and then it was like again like no now
[0:57] you do your like Eng prototyping and so
[1:00] high was immediately followed by a it
[1:03] wasn't as good as what I thought in my
[1:04] head and so I think just being ready for
[1:06] that not now doesn't mean a know so just
[1:09] have that persistence all right well my
[1:11] guest today is Mika kapor probia figma
[1:14] Mika and team built figma slides from
[1:16] just an idea to be a feature product at
[1:19] figma config this year and I'm excited
[1:22] to dig into your advice on how anyone
[1:23] can build Z to one products inside large
[1:26] companies which is like one of the
[1:27] hardest things to do not to men
