[0:27] Good evening tonight from the now quiet
[0:29] playgrounds of Littleton, Colorado,
[0:31] Jefferson County, where the promise and
[0:34] the prosperity of the Rocky Mountain
[0:35] West were the big news here until
[0:38] yesterday. Now the world knows this
[0:40] suburb as the home of an American
[0:42] nightmare. One of the worst school
[0:44] shootings ever. 15 dead bodies still
[0:47] being identified and many questions
[0:49] still being asked. And work still going
[0:52] on tonight. The fire crew tonight
[0:54] detonated one of the pipe bombs left
[0:56] behind by the gunman. As we begin
[0:58] tonight, we want to take a moment now to
[1:00] get a clearer picture of what happened
[1:01] here at Coline High. Just before 11:30
[1:05] a.m. local time yesterday, two young men
[1:06] in black trench coats walk from the
[1:09] parking lot toward the building. They
[1:10] pull out their guns and start shooting.
[1:13] They enter the cafeteria, shooting as
[1:15] they walk. Moments later, they make
[1:17] their way up the stairs and to the
[1:18] library as students scatter and hide. At
[1:21] noon, the first explosions the gunmen
[1:24] are now setting off are heard. Pipe
[1:26] bombs. At 12:30, the SWAT teams enter,
[1:29] finding bombs scattered around the
[1:31] building. They begin a room by room
[1:33] search. At 2:30, large groups of
[1:35] students are freed from their hidin
