[0:44] Hello and welcome to our viewers in
[0:45] North America and around the world. I'm
[0:47] RZ Khan at the CNN bureau in London. The
[0:50] international community is mounting a
[0:52] massive effort to cope with the tide of
[0:53] refugees leaving Kosovo province. More
[0:56] than 300,000 ethnic Albanians have now
[0:58] crossed into neighboring countries, many
[1:00] of them weak from cold and hunger.
[1:03] Western nations are using planes and
[1:05] helicopters to accelerate the supply of
[1:07] aid to the refugees in Albania and the

[1:13] about 115,000 displaced Kosvars in

[1:19] muddy fields at the border. And Albania
[1:22] has received around 200,000 refugees
[1:25] across its mountainous border with
[1:26] Yugoslavia.
[1:28] The United States and six other
[1:29] countries are offering temporary homes
[1:31] for these refugees. NATO sources say
[1:33] that up to 100,000 people may be offered
[1:35] shelter beyond the Balkans. In other
[1:38] developments, NATO focused its latest
[1:40] attacks on more targets around Belgrade,
[1:42] but poor weather hampered operations
[1:44] again, and the United States says that
[1:47] it's deploying Apache helicopter
[1:48] gunships to join Operation Allied Force.
