[0:00] Hey everyone, Thiago here. Today I'd

[0:03] like to share with you a guided

[0:04] visualization, a meditation that I've

[0:07] been using for some years to think about

[0:10] and plan for the future. Place yourself

[0:13] in an environment that you're going to

[0:15] be able to be present and to really go

[0:18] deep inside. Somewhere quiet, for

[0:21] example, in a room or in nature or

[0:25] somewhere that evokes feelings of

[0:28] presence and wonder and emotions and

[0:33] just connection to your inner self. This

[0:35] visualization is about, yes, visualizing

[0:38] the future, but not just that. It's

[0:40] about getting specific about the future

[0:42] and concrete, not with the goal of

[0:45] trying to predict or precisely plan how

[0:48] exactly that future is going to come to

[0:50] pass. It's really about visualizing and

[0:53] imagining the future with the intention

[0:56] of pulling information, pulling lessons

[0:59] and insights from that future into the

[1:03] present. The reason we want to do that

[1:05] is to make better decisions, to set

[1:08] goals that are more realistic and more

[1:10] rooted in who we are, and to create

[1:12] intentions and priorities that match our

[1:15] values, our temperament, our sense of

[1:18] what's important in life. So, take a

[1:21] minute to get comfortable. Can help to

[1:24] be cross-legged.

[1:27] Take a couple deep breaths and sigh as

[1:30] you exhale like this.

[1:33] >> [snorts]

[1:46] >> can help to kind of put your hand on

[1:48] your heart or on your chest to kind of

[1:51] touch your legs and remember you have a

[1:54] body. Remind yourself that you are here

[1:58] now in one place at one time.

[2:02] And I recommend you close your eyes

[2:04] throughout this meditation as that helps

[2:07] y
