[0:02] revealed we're excited you've taken the

[0:04] time to stop by today we're in chapter

[0:06] number 22 and we're going to be in

[0:08] verses 3 4 and 5 of revelation chapter

[0:12] 22. we're nearing the end we're almost

[0:14] through with the book and so we thank

[0:16] you for being along on the journey with

[0:18] us and if you haven't been along i want

[0:20] to encourage you to go back and watch

[0:21] this series all the way through and as

[0:24] we dive into different chapters and

[0:26] different sections of the book and so

[0:28] we're excited for this and verse number

[0:31] three the bible says and there shall be

[0:33] no more curse but the throne of god and

[0:36] of the lamb shall be in it and his

[0:39] servants shall serve him

[0:41] and they shall see his face and his name

[0:44] shall be in their foreheads and there

[0:46] shall be no night there and they need no

[0:48] candle

[0:49] neither light of the sun for the lord

[0:51] god giveth them light and they shall

[0:54] reign forever and ever

[0:57] one of the questions i get often asked

[0:59] is pastor what are we going to do when

[1:01] we get to heaven and the bible doesn't

[1:03] reveal everything that we're going to do

[1:05] when we get there but in this section of

[1:07] scripture there's a few things laid out

[1:09] so we're going to look at those tonight

[1:11] or this morning

[1:13] verse number three

[1:15] there shall be no more curse in the

[1:17] first two verses of this chapter we

[1:19] talked about the tree the river the

[1:22] street of gold

[1:23] there's no more curse there's no more

[1:25] sin we're in eternity future there's no

[1:28] more sin and so we look forward to that

[1:31] no more curse and because of that that

[1:33] means our physical bodies are no longer

[1:36] going to be physical bodies they're

[1:38] going to be glorified bodies which means

[1:40] no no tiredness no rest no effects of

[1:44] sin

[1:45] will be on your glorified body and so no

[1:48] fatigue no uh tiredness no broken bones

[1:53] everything will be perfect the way god

[1:56] intended for it to be

[1:59] it says also in that verse that because

[2:01] there's no curse but the throne of god

[2:03] and of the lamb shall be in it and we

[2:06] talked about it last week a little bit

[2:08] the throne of god of the lamb it's one

[2:10] throne and it's because god's won those

[2:13] three and one in distinct persons so

[2:15] there's the throne of the lamb

[2:17] and in his servants shall serve him so

[2:21] part of what we'll be doing in heaven is

[2:23] serving the lord and another thing that

[2:25] we notice in our text is that we will be

[2:28] reigning with him and so because we'll

[2:30] be reigning with him we'll have

[2:33] responsibilities to carry out and that

[2:35] god will have for us to do and so the

[2:38] bible tells us that we'll rule and reign

[2:40] with christ and so there'll be people

[2:42] for us to reign over

[2:44] so you might say well who's that new

[2:46] people and those people will be people

[2:48] in the eternity that are occupying the

[2:50] new earth that god has

[2:52] created a new earth and so

[2:55] they'll be part of those people that'll

[2:57] have glorified bodies but because of our

[2:59] relationship with christ and what we've

[3:02] done for him we'll have areas of service

[3:05] and opportunities to serve him in the

[3:08] future

[3:09] notice the earlier verses also talked

[3:11] about the river and it talked about the

[3:13] tree there and more than likely it

[3:15] appears we're going to be eating of the

[3:18] tree and that will have partake of the

[3:20] fruit and so as it continues on in verse

[3:23] number 4 it says and they shall see his

[3:26] face we're going to see god

[3:28] face to face and so when we get to

[3:31] eternity future

[3:32] we'll get to see god face to face and so

[3:35] we'll get to enjoy him in the fullness

[3:38] of his presence it continues on that not

[3:41] only shall we see his face that his name

[3:43] shall be in their foreheads just like

[3:45] during the tribulation time the name of

[3:47] the antichrist was placed upon those the

[3:50] mark of the beast it appears that in

[3:52] eternity future there'll be a mark of

[3:55] of god on our foreheads what that means

[3:57] i don't have any details of why do not

[4:00] because the bible didn't give us any

[4:02] details

[4:03] and so they'll be his name god's name on

[4:06] our foreheads

[4:08] there shall be no night

[4:10] no night there they need no candle

[4:13] neither light of the sun for the lord

[4:15] god giveth them

[4:17] light and they shall reign forever and

[4:20] ever there's no darkness there no

[4:23] darkness no worries no fears no need for

[4:26] rest we will be able to work and serve

[4:30] the lord and to fulfill the things that

[4:32] god has for us and never have a day

[4:35] where we go

[4:37] i'm tired never going to have one of

[4:38] those moments in heaven never going to

[4:41] be worn out

[4:42] never going to be tired never going to

[4:44] be having one of those bad days where

[4:47] arthritis and bursitis and all them

[4:49] other itis that we have to deal with

[4:51] here on earth we won't have that in the

[4:53] new heaven we'll get to rejoice with god

[4:56] we'll get to enjoy the blessings of god

[4:59] we'll get to walk on the street of gold

[5:01] we get to participate with the river we

[5:04] know that when we come back with christ

[5:06] we're going to ride on white horses and

[5:08] if we're riding on the horses then

[5:10] there's a good opportunity we might be

[5:12] riding on those horses later on we know

[5:14] that there are animals there that are

[5:16] part of god's eternity future and the

[5:19] earth itself will be restored and

[5:21] replenished and have a wonderful earth

[5:23] and so we look forward to the day

[5:26] so what all we're going to do well this

[5:28] is just a picture of a little bit of

[5:31] what god's going to have for us but i

[5:32] can tell you this no matter what is in

[5:35] store for you and i it's going to be

[5:36] wonderful no matter what we have to do

[5:39] in heaven it's going to be grand it's

[5:42] going to be blessed and i thank god that

[5:45] my name's been written down in the

[5:46] lamb's book of life

[5:48] and i look forward to this eternity

[5:51] future and the blessings of god i want

[5:53] you to notice the next verse verse

[5:55] number six

[5:56] and he said unto me that's the angel

[5:58] speaking unto john these sayings are

[6:00] faithful and true

[6:02] and the lord god of the holy prophets

[6:05] and his angel to show unto his servants

[6:07] the things which must shortly be done

[6:11] so john is told that these things are

[6:14] faithful and true god is real he's going

[6:16] to reign there's a heaven awaiting us

[6:19] there's a better day a coming and so

[6:22] we're looking forward to that day and

[6:25] that there's uh servants that are going

[6:27] to be serving the lord in verse number

[6:29] seven we'll conclude with this it says

[6:31] behold i come quickly blessed is he that

[6:35] keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of

[6:37] this book

[6:38] jesus is coming soon we know it's going

[6:41] to be the rapture of the church first

[6:44] and then the tribulation period the

[6:46] second coming when he returns to earth

[6:48] the millennial kingdom and then heaven

[6:51] future the eternal state of paradise

[6:55] like god originally designed it for the

[6:57] world to be

[6:58] i look forward to the day of celebrating

[7:01] with you in heaven i look forward to the

[7:04] day because i don't know what page that

[7:06] my name was written on but i know that

[7:08] it's written on the lamb's book of life

[7:09] and i hope you know that as well

[7:11] if you don't know that we encourage you

[7:14] to message us or to stop by for a

[7:17] service and talk with us on how you can

[7:19] know for a certainty that you're on your

[7:21] way to heaven

[7:22] revelation has been the revealing of

[7:25] mankind's relationship with jesus christ

[7:28] we saw the past relationship in the

[7:30] beginning chapters we saw the present

[7:32] relationship going through chapters two

[7:35] in chapters three we saw the future in

[7:38] chapter four with the revelation of the

[7:40] rapture taking place and the calling

[7:43] away of god's children the voice out of

[7:46] heaven saying come up hither we saw the

[7:48] future when it deals with the

[7:50] tribulation period and the judgment of

[7:53] god and we are looking forward to the

[7:55] future of heaven and the blessings that

[7:57] will be there

[7:59] god does not give us a 100

[8:03] detailed account of heaven

[8:05] but what he does tell us

[8:06] it's wonderful it's blessing it's a

[8:10] happy place where there's no pain no

[8:13] night no sorrow no tears and i hope i'll

[8:17] see you there
