[1:02] headlines, there has been a major
[1:04] endorsement tonight for Barack Obama. It
[1:06] came just moments ago at an Obama rally
[1:08] in Grand Rapids, Michigan. And Obama
[1:11] began the rally not with his normal
[1:12] campaign pitch, but by saying this.
[1:16] >> One of the greatest leaders we have in
[1:19] the Democratic Party. Please give it up
[1:23] for my friend
[1:25] John Edwards.
[1:28] >> Now a friend, formerly a political
[1:30] opponent. John Edwards, one of the last
[1:32] three Democrats in the race. He had
[1:34] flown to Grand Rapids, arriving late
[1:36] this afternoon to make this endorsement
[1:38] time for maximum advantage. This is a
[1:41] major endorsement sought by both Obama
[1:44] and Hillary Clinton.
