[0:00] Maybe the right UI is a generative UI.
[0:03] Imagine the entire layout of the
[0:05] workspace is actually something made
[0:07] just in time based on what you're trying
[0:10] to do. Cove is now going to be building
[0:12] out uh the workspace. And so as it
[0:15] builds out the workspace, it's trying to
[0:17] first understand what you're trying to
[0:19] do, how to break down that problem, and
[0:22] how to help you make progress. And that
[0:24] includes, for example, for YouTube being
[0:25] able to automatically get to transcript.
[0:27] As product builders, we're trying to
[0:30] kind of predict the future and that's
[0:34] already hard, but the future feels like
[0:36] it's changing faster and faster. Now,
[0:38] Stephen built Uber Eats from scratch,
[0:40] uh, of course with his team to a $25
[0:42] billion business. Initial group that
[0:44] worked on Neats was a really interesting
[0:45] combination of some folks that had been
[0:48] at Uber for a very long period of time,
[0:49] some of the original ops people, some
[0:51] original engineers, and they were mixed
[0:53] with a new set of folks on, for example,
[0:55] the product and design side. That
[0:56] mixture of new perspective, but also
[0:58] folks that really knew the Uber culture
[1:01] and really knew how to get things done
[1:02] at Uber was a really interesting kind of
[1:05] like cocktail for an initial
[1:08] team. Well, welcome everyone. My guest
[1:10] today is Stephen, the co-founder of
[1:12] Cove. Cove is a Sequoia back startup
[1:14] that lets you work with AI through a
[1:17] groundbreaking visual interface instead
[1:18] of using chat threads. and and before
[1:20] Cove, Stephen built Uber Eats from
[1:22] scratch, uh, of course with his team to
[1:24] a $25
