[0:00] let's go to meteorologist Bill Kamal
[0:02] Bill we talked about this yesterday the
[0:04] kind of death that you're going to see
[0:05] after storms like this one are usually
[0:07] related to the flooding where people
[0:09] well make mistakes right yeah accidental
[0:12] deaths the drownings the electrocutions
[0:14] and this is all into that mix we talked
[0:16] about yesterday Rick when water kills
[0:18] nine out of 10 people in tropical
[0:20] systems rather than wind we always
[0:22] concentrate on the wind and it's the
[0:24] water and it's very unfortunate in the
[0:26] category one storm here we have it now
[0:28] east of Daytona southeast of
[0:30] Jacksonville there's the swirl but a lot
[0:33] of rain now buffeting North Florida
[0:35] Georgia and South Carolina but the storm
[0:38] is moving very slowly again here's a
[0:40] wider view now in the center of the
[0:42] storm is northeast or east of
[0:45] Jacksonville moving to the north
[0:47] Savannah Charleston Wilmington all the
[0:50] rains now piling back into the familiar
[0:52] sections of the United States that we've
[0:53] grown to know so much in the last three
[0:56] years and the hurricane itself has its
[0:59] eyes on either South or North Carolina
[1:01] now these clumps of green just nighttime
[1:03] ground clutter but a lot of rain now
[1:05] from Charleston to Myrtle Beach honing
[1:07] in on Wilmington the Eastern sections of
[1:09] North Carolina is not where they need it
[1:11] we'll get the latest bulletin in this
[1:12] hour by the way but as an 8 o'clock 29
[1:14] 379 8 250 miles south of Charleston
[1:18] South Carolina moving North at 10. still
[1:20] a category one hurricane so it never
[1:22] lost hurricane status it moved out over
[1:24] the open Water
