[0:00] From KGW, where the news comes first.
[0:04] This is a Northwest News Channel 8 at
[0:06] 6:30, special edition. America strikes
[0:10] back. And when I said no negotiations, I
[0:14] meant no negotiations.
[0:16] President Bush sternly rebuffs a request
[0:19] from Taliban leaders to stop air
[0:21] strikes. Good evening. I'm Nancy
[0:23] Francis. And I'm Carl Click. Thank you
[0:25] for joining us. Here are the latest
[0:27] developments as America strikes back.

[1:21] filled with a brown granular substance
[1:22] containing the anthrax disease has
[1:25] caused the exposure of three more
[1:26] people. When they were tested, minuscule
[1:31] um spores or spo or a spore was found in
[1:35] two cases in their nose and in one case
[1:37] on their face. They're bei
