[0:00] I'll expand early childhood education,
[0:02] recruit new teachers, and pay them
[0:04] better. But the truth is, government
[0:06] can't do it all. As parents, we need to
[0:08] turn off the TV, redo our kids, give
[0:10] them that thirst to learn. I approve
[0:13] this message because it's not just about
[0:14] their future, it's about ours
[0:18] to world news. Tonight, Clinton and
[0:20] Obama battle for the biggest primaries
[0:23] left on the calendar. Can tonight change
[0:26] the race? Disaster zone. The death toll
[0:29] soarses from the Myanmar cyclone. A
[0:31] million are homeless. Help is available,
[0:34] but it's not getting in. Campus crime.
[0:37] Almost a hundred arrests in a sweeping
[0:39] drug bust at a California university.
[0:42] The frat house was a drug den. And
[0:45] musical gift. Why a world-class
[0:47] violinist was playing a concert today on
[0:50] the Newark airport cabline
[0:57] >> from ABC News headquarters. This is
[1:01] World News with Charles Gibson.
[1:04] >> Good evening. Two candidates, two
[1:05] primaries, two results to be reported
[1:07] tonight. Only one state yet that ABC
[1:10] News is prepared to call. In North
[1:12] Carolina, ABC has projected that Barack
[1:14] Obama will carry the Democratic primary
[1:17] in that state. The polls closed at 7:30
[1:20] Eastern time, 4:30 in California time.
[1:24] And we can now show you some of the raw
[1:26] vote that has come in from the state of
[1:29] North Carolina. Only 13% of the
[1:31] precincts reporting as you can see
[1:32] there. But it is a comfortable win for
[1:35] Barack Obama in the state of North
[1:37] Carolina. did very well with the
[1:39] African-American vote as he has done in
[1:40] other states and did very well with
[1:43] white voters
