[0:03] We start this morning with a new twist
[0:05] on the debate over gays in the military.
[0:07] An openly gay member of Congress says
[0:09] the president does not have the vote in
[0:12] Congress to lift the ban on gays in the
[0:15] military. So, Massachusetts Congressman
[0:17] Barney Frank suggests a compromise.
[0:19] Gays, he says, should keep quiet about
[0:21] their preferences while in uniform, but
[0:24] be able to do what they want out of
[0:26] uniform. Those who want the ban lifted,
[0:28] however, accuse Congressman Frank of
[0:30] selling out, compromising way too early.

[0:34] >> All right, Charlie. Gentlemen, ahead in
[0:35] this half hour, I'll show you parts of
[0:37] the country where you don't want to
[0:39] leave home without your umbrella, where

[0:54] sexual harassment, but not what you may
[0:56] be thinking. This may be the first case
[0:58] of its kind. A jury has awarded a man $1
[1:01] million in a sexual harassment lawsuit
[1:04] against his former boss, a woman. And
[1:06] this morning, we will talk with the
[1:07] victim and the four woman of the jury in
[1:09] the case. And a little bit later in the
[1:11] program, we will have the second of the
[1:12] first of Charlie's two-part interview
