[0:00] Hi, I'm Charlie Rose.
[0:02] >> Figure skater Nancy Carrian. The charges
[0:04] are said to include conspiracy. So far,
[0:07] no confirmation on the names of the
[0:09] suspects, but they are said to have
[0:11] connections to the camp of Carrian's
[0:14] main rival and Olympic teammate.
[0:16] Correspondent John Blackstone has the
[0:17] very latest.
[0:20] >> In Portland today, the wait went on for
[0:22] arrests expected to shake the world of
[0:24] figure skating. Police in Detroit, where
[0:26] Nancy Carrian was attacked last week,
[0:28] confirmed suspects in the case are in
[0:30] Portland. Reports continue to identify
[0:33] Harding's bodyguard, Shawn Eert, the man
[0:35] in the trench coat, is involved in
[0:37] arranging the attack. There is no
[0:39] evidence, however, to support some
[0:41] reports the skater herself is a suspect.
[0:44] >> To my knowledge, there's been absolutely
[0:46] nothing that would implicate Tanya
[0:48] Harding in this incident at this point
[0:50] in time. And some of those who know the
[0:52] skater best say Harding is a fierce
[0:54] competitor who wants to win, but who
[0:56] wants to win genuinely. Michael
[0:58] Rosenberg was her agent for three years.
[1:01] >> Tanya is the kind of athlete, who wants
[1:05] to beat everyone and then be proud of or
[1:10] gloat over her victory.
[1:11] >> Police in Detroit say a search behind
[1:13] the arena turned up the weapon used to
[1:15] strike Carrian. It was a piece of police
[1:17] equipment like this, a collapsible
[1:19] nightstick. Today, Carrian is said to be
[1:22] well on the way to recovery.
[1:24] >> She's working her butt off to get this
[1:27] back into the line. I think she'll be
[1:30] fine.
[1:31] >> But even Carrian's return to the ice
[1:33] will not ease
