[0:04] our Bibles.
[0:07] And um we're going to switch to the New
[0:09] Gospel series, The Statue of Perfect
[0:11] Man. We're going to read Second Peter
[0:15] verse 1
[0:17] uh chapter 1:3-5.
[0:20] 2 Peter 1:3-5
[0:23] says, "According as his divine power
[0:26] hath given unto us all things that
[0:29] pertain to life, uh unto life and
[0:33] godliness,
[0:34] uh through the knowledge of him,
[0:37] and hath called us to glory and virtue,
[0:40] whereby are given unto us exceeding
[0:43] great and precious promises, that by
[0:46] these you might be partakers of the
[0:49] divine by nature, having escaped the
[0:51] corruption that is in the world through
[0:52] lust. And beside this, giving all
[0:55] diligence, add to your faith virtue, and
[0:58] to virtue knowledge. Notice that in
[1:01] verse three, through the knowledge of
[1:02] him that hath called us to glory and
[1:04] virtue. And verse five, and to your
[1:08] virtue add to your virtue knowledge.
[1:10] Amen. The Lord add a blessing to his

[1:15] So this series on stature of a perfect
[1:18] man. If we go to the the next slide
[1:20] which is the the picture uh the diagram
[1:24] and you can see obviously slotted in
[1:26] there the church ages of the Christian
[1:28] church history the messengers and then
[1:32] in the center are the virtues and we've
[1:34] dealt with faith and virtue and you can
[1:37] see the third one is knowledge. Now
[1:41] obviously this is going to be teaching.
[1:43] So, but when you look at that and and
[1:47] you sit and ponder that for a while, you
[1:50] think that most people, religions and so
[1:53] on in the world feel like you need to
[1:55] start with knowledge,
[1:57] right?
