[0:00] on the hour. A good looking Friday
[0:01] evening. Tomorrow temperatures are going
[0:02] to be a little bit cooler with an
[0:03] onshore flow, but still a pretty nice
[0:05] day. 60s and 70s across the board.
[0:07] Weather on the hour only on the power of
[0:13] [Music]
[0:16] On World News Tonight this Friday,
[0:18] getting rid of Kosovo's entire
[0:20] population. Ethnic cleansing in the
[0:22] final phase. The Kosovo Liberation Army
[0:25] eager to take on the Serbs, but are they
[0:27] able to make a difference? will take a
[0:29] closer look. A national hero who's a
[0:32] legend in his sport. Gretzky scores.
[0:36] Wayne Gretzky says that he's retiring.
[0:39] And one of America's greatest composers,
[0:41] the 100th anniversary of Duke
[0:43] Ellington's birth, the century on
[0:45] Friday.

[1:03] dimensions of it until now, it is as
[1:06] clear on this Friday as it's ever been
[1:08] that the Serbs in Yugoslavia want to
[1:10] empty Kosovo province of its ethnic
[1:12] Albanians. And the operative word is
[1:14] empty the province of its majority
[1:16] population. The United Nations High
[1:18] Commissioner for Refugees said today the
[1:20] Serbs have now driven 700,000 ethnic
[1:24] Albanians out. One UN official said a
[1:26] couple of months ago it would have
[1:28] seemed unbelievable,
[1:30] but never has ethnic cleansing been so
[1:32] apparent as it is tonight. We're going
[1:35] to start with ABC's Richard Gizburg.
[1:39] Another five or 6 thousand crossed into
[1:41] Albania today, many in complete despair.
[1:45] Thousands more behind them. Long snaking
