[0:02] I'm Jim Berry and right now for those of
[0:04] you who are listening to us but we are
[0:07] looking at some pictures of a very
[0:08] devastated Florida City. We're looking
[0:11] at trees knocked down. We're looking at
[0:13] traffic signals that
[0:14] are out. Florida City on the outer
[0:17] reaches of Dade County civilization
[0:20] in very South Dade County in the near
[0:23] the Homestead area. This is an area that
[0:26] I believe is largely rural
[0:28] and as we we go through some of these
[0:30] areas we see
[0:31] not a lot of property damage because
[0:33] frankly there isn't a lot of property in
[0:35] some of these areas. It's a very open
[0:37] area but we're looking at trees just
[0:40] smashed and looking at a lot of steel
[0:43] beams that are just
[0:45] bent all the bits as people there also
[0:48] obviously were very hit very hard by
[0:50] Hurricane Andrew.
[0:52] And also this is really about the
[0:54] southernmost boundary of the heavy
[0:57] damage.
[0:59] Beyond this we you start getting into
[1:00] the Keys an area that so many people
[1:02] were worried about because of its
[1:03] vulnerability.
