[0:07] New Orleans has descended into near
[0:09] energy. There is violence in the streets
[0:11] and the mayor has issued what he calls a
[0:13] desperate SOS as local officials call
[0:17] the federal government's response a
[0:19] national disgrace. Good evening, I'm Bob
[0:22] Schaefer. Again, we're devoting our
[0:24] broadcast to the worsening crisis in and
[0:26] around New Orleans. And again tonight,
[0:29] John Roberts is heading up our coverage.

[1:15] news from New Orleans tonight. More than
[1:17] a hundred buses evacuated thousands of
[1:20] people from the hellhole that was once
[1:22] the Louisiana Super Dome and more will
[1:25] be brought out tonight and taken to the
[1:28] Astrodome in Houston. But they leave
[1:30] behind a city in anarchy with most of
[1:32] New Orleans still flooded. Angry mobs
[1:35] set fires, continued wholesale looting,
[1:38] and shot at rescue helicopters as
[1:41] frustration boiled over in ways large
[1:43] and small. It was also another day of
[1:46] dramatic rescues. In Washin
