[1:07] to see the throne room of god and to see

[1:11] to open up the book and the honor and

[1:14] glory that's reserved for the lamb of

[1:18] it's such an exciting chapter chapter

[1:22] now our timeline transitions as you'll

[1:25] see on the

[1:26] timeline chart there in front of you

[1:29] that

[1:29] here on earth the tribulation period is

[1:32] beginning up in heaven that top line

[1:34] there

[1:35] referencing heaven in the throne room of

[1:37] god and all the exciting things are

[1:39] happening up there the bema judgment

[1:41] seat and chapter 4 and chapter 5 taking

[1:44] place

[1:45] up in heaven where the saints of god

[1:47] have been raptured out

[1:49] there at the end of the church age but

[1:51] now here in chapter 6 it begins with the

[1:54] four horsemen

[1:55] of revelation six the first four seals

[1:59] are opened up that we're gonna look at

[2:01] today so in revelation chapter six

[2:04] verse number one the bible says this and

[2:06] i saw

[2:07] when the lamb opened one of the seals

[2:10] and i

[2:10] heard as it were the noise of thunder

[2:14] one of the four beasts saying come and

[2:16] see

[2:17] thy saw and behold a white horse and see

[2:20] that set on him had a bow

[2:22] and a crown was given unto him and he

[2:25] went forth conquering

[2:27] and to conquer the scene has changed as

[2:30] we mentioned in chapter six

[2:32] that what had been an exciting time in

[2:34] the throne room of god is now

[2:36] changing to what's happening here on

[2:38] earth the lamb's getting ready to begin

[2:40] as we just read to open

[2:42] up the seals of the book he opens up the

[2:45] book and

[2:46] john says i heard a noise as it were of

[2:48] thunder

[2:49] the noise here is a is a metaphor

[2:51] describing something that

[2:53] is coming that is not good for the

[2:55] inhabitants of earth

[2:57] i have the privilege of pastoring here

[3:05] and enjoy the sunshine and then all of a

[3:32] is portraying for us he's there in

[3:35] heaven he's enjoying the sun

[3:38] no pun intended the son of god

[3:41] but then the noise of thunder

[3:44] something's coming in the distance

[3:47] one of the four beasts around the throne

[3:49] says to john come and see

[3:52] and he comes and he sees and the first

[3:54] thing he sees is a white horse

[3:56] now a white horse during those times is

[3:58] known as the victor's horse

[4:01] someone's on the horse he's described

[4:03] with a bow

[4:05] but no arrows and then he receives a

[4:08] crown

[4:08] notice it says in the text a crown was

[4:10] given unto him

[4:12] and he went forth conquering and to

[4:13] conquer

[4:15] now there's a lot of people who have a

[4:18] lot of different thoughts about who's

[4:20] the writer on the white horse

[4:22] there are some who believe that this is

[4:24] jesus

[4:25] that's not what the bible says here this

[4:28] is not jesus on the white horse

[4:31] this is the antichrist he's being

[4:33] revealed at this time the antichrist

[4:35] when he's first revealed

[4:37] he comes to earth and notice his desire

[4:40] is to bring

[4:41] a false peace to the nation of israel

[4:45] now you'll notice the bow but no arrows

[4:48] now a bow is used for combat from a

[4:50] distance during that time

[4:52] but not up close combat he'll bring a

[4:55] false peace upon the earth without

[4:57] firing a single

[4:58] shot now you'll notice that a

[5:02] crown is giving to him this antichrist

[5:06] will come and he will

[5:07] be in jerusalem portraying himself to be

[5:10] christ

[5:11] many will believe that he is the messiah

[5:15] but he's bringing about a false peace

[5:18] but you'll notice the text said that a

[5:20] crown is given to him

[5:22] now the interesting thing here is that

[5:23] there are two greek words for the word

[5:25] english word crown they're found in the

[5:28] bible the first one is stephanos

[5:30] the second is diadem the word here in

[5:34] revelation chapter six

[5:35] is stefanos stefanos the wreath or

[5:39] honor crown awarded during that time to

[5:41] athletes

[5:42] it was an awarded crown and so the

[5:45] antichrist will come and he'll bring

[5:47] about peace and he'll be awarded

[5:50] an honorary crown he'll be awarded

[5:53] some type of honor because he's brought

[5:56] peace to the land

[5:58] and everyone will join him and they'll

[6:00] be

[6:01] excited for him now

[6:05] in revelation chapter 20 jesus christ

[6:07] returns

[6:08] on the white horse then in revelation

[6:11] 20.

[6:12] he's not here in revelation 6 but he's

[6:14] in revelation

[6:15] 20 and he is also wearing a crown but

[6:18] his crown

[6:19] is the diadem the second word the crown

[6:22] that christ wears

[6:23] is the diagram crown meaning the kingly

[6:26] crown the right to

[6:28] rule the real true kingly

[6:31] crown now the antichrist will do all he

[6:34] can to present himself to the nation of

[6:36] israel

[6:36] as their messiah he'll bring peace to

[6:39] the nations and sign a seven year peace

[6:41] treaty

[6:42] with israel but he's gonna break it

[6:44] halfway through

[6:45] at the three and a half year mark of the

[6:47] tribulation period the

[6:49] antichrist will break his peace treaty

[6:52] it's a sad time the events that are

[6:55] playing out here

[6:56] in revelation chapter six so the

[6:58] antichrist has been revealed

[7:00] here in six one and two he's riding the

[7:02] white horse he's presenting himself that

[7:05] he's got the

[7:06] the knowledge and the wherewithal and

[7:08] you know politicians today are smooth

[7:11] talkers but nobody's gonna be like the

[7:14] antichrist he's gonna persuade millions

[7:17] and billions with his talk

[7:20] now look at verse number three and when

[7:22] he'd open the second seal i heard the

[7:24] second beast say

[7:25] come and see and there went out another

[7:28] horse that was read

[7:29] and power was given to him that set

[7:31] thereon to take peace

[7:33] from the earth that they should kill one

[7:35] another and there was given unto him

[7:37] a great sword so here in

[7:41] these verses here three and four the

[7:45] red horse comes red meaning slaughter

[7:48] and war

[7:49] war happens on the earth now the writer

[7:52] of this horse it's a personification

[7:54] of the man that's on earth the

[7:56] antichrist and what he

[7:58] is doing now let me reference back in

[8:01] verse

[8:02] verse number two the antichrist isn't

[8:04] literally riding on a horse

[8:06] it's a personification of the forces

[8:09] that he's going to be using

[8:10] that force of peace that force of

[8:13] falseness

[8:14] that force of declaring that false peace

[8:19] force of war is described as the second

[8:21] horse

[8:22] is the personification of that the

[8:25] antichrist who brought peace is now

[8:27] bringing about war

[8:28] the bow has been replaced with a sword

[8:32] now there's another interesting thing

[8:33] that happens here in these verses

[8:36] the english word sword has two

[8:39] different greek words mentioned for it

[8:40] in the bible

[8:42] two different words for the english word

[8:44] sword one is haframphia

[8:47] and the only one is maharay now these

[8:49] two swords are different

[8:51] the first sword the haramphia is the

[8:54] roman sword

[8:55] the second sword the maharia is a long

[8:59] dagger that could be hidden under

[9:01] garments under a rope

[9:03] now it's interesting the sword that's

[9:05] here that the

[9:07] red the rider the red horse the

[9:09] antichrist

[9:10] the sword that he has is the hidden

[9:12] dagger the maharia sword where we get

[9:14] our word machete

[9:16] from it's that hidden dagger

[9:19] now when jesus comes on the white horse

[9:21] in revelation chapter 20 and it

[9:23] talks about the sword from his mouth it

[9:25] is

[9:26] referencing the other sword the long

[9:29] tiger sword the roman

[9:30] soldier sword it's interesting the

[9:33] antichrist is described having

[9:35] the hidden dagger because you see when

[9:37] he comes and he declares this peace

[9:40] his ultimate heart's desire is to

[9:42] destroy the nation of israel to destroy

[9:44] the people of god

[9:45] to bring about harm to mankind he

[9:48] doesn't care about anyone

[9:50] but the powers of satan to destroy and

[9:52] to kill

[9:54] in isaiah 57 21 the bible says this

[9:57] there is no peace

[9:58] saith my god to the wicked zechariah 14

[10:02] verses 1 and 2 behold the day of the

[10:04] lord cometh

[10:05] and thy spoil shall be divided in the

[10:07] midst of thee for i will gather all

[10:10] nations against jerusalem to do what

[10:12] to battle and the city shall be taken

[10:15] and the house is rifled and the women

[10:17] ravished and half of the city shall go

[10:19] forth into captivity and the residue of

[10:21] the people

[10:22] shall not be cut off from the city in

[10:24] matthew chapter 24

[10:26] a wonderful chapter detailing for us

[10:29] many of the things happening

[10:30] during the tribulation period verse

[10:32] number six and ye shall hear the

[10:35] of wars and rumors of wars and see that

[10:38] you be not troubled for all these things

[10:40] must come to pass

[10:41] but the end is not yet ezekiel 38 verse

[10:46] says and i will call for a sword against

[10:48] him throughout all my mountains saith

[10:50] the lord god

[10:51] every man's sword shall be against his

[10:54] brother

[10:55] now during the tribulation period there

[10:57] are three wars that are referenced

[10:58] during the tribulation period

[11:00] the first one commences with the second

[11:02] horse the

[11:04] rider of the red horse the second

[11:07] battle that's mentioned here is the one

[11:09] in the middle of the tribulation period

[11:11] the third is the battle of armageddon at

[11:14] the end these

[11:15] there will be war also amongst the

[11:17] nations of earth as well

[11:20] so this second writer the second horse

[11:23] of the

[11:23] book of revelation brings about

[11:25] destruction of war

[11:28] how a false peace is declared a bow with

[11:31] no arrows

[11:32] i was talking to a a hunter and i

[11:35] asked him this question i said if you

[11:38] saw a guy who had a bow with no arrows

[11:40] what do you think he's doing

[11:42] and he'd say well he's not a very good

[11:45] hunter

[11:46] and my answer to it was i think he's

[11:48] pretending to be a hunter

[11:53] antichrist he's the great pretender he's

[11:56] but he's got no power and his power is

[12:11] when he'd open the third seal i heard

[12:12] the third beast say come and see

[12:14] and i beheld a low a black horse

[12:18] and he that sat on him had a pair of

[12:20] balances in his hand

[12:21] and i heard a voice in the midst of the

[12:23] four beasts say a measure of wheat for a

[12:25] penny

[12:26] three measures of marley for a penny see

[12:29] thou hurt not the oil

[12:30] and whine the third horse is the black

[12:34] horse

[12:35] now some have thought that the black

[12:36] horse is the horse of death but it's not

[12:39] in our passage of scripture we detail

[12:41] that it's the

[12:42] horse of famine the pair of balances in

[12:45] his hand and the scales

[12:47] baman always follows war jeremiah 14 1-4

[12:52] tells us the word of the lord came to

[12:53] jeremiah concerning the dearth or the

[12:56] famine

[12:57] judah mourneth and the gates are of

[12:58] languish they are watch this

[13:30] skin cleaveth to their bones it withered

[13:33] it became like a stick that way that

[13:36] they'd be slain with the sword of better

[13:38] than they that be slain with hunger for

[13:41] these spine away

[13:42] and stricken through the want of fruits

[13:44] in the field

[13:46] limitations 5 10 our skin was black like

[13:48] an oven because of the terrible

[13:50] famine matthew 24 7 for their nation

[13:53] shall rise up against nation and kingdom

[14:25] even during this time it is god the lamb

[17:40] people on the earth

[19:35] they talk about the coronavirus they

[19:37] first claimed that it was spread by bats

[19:40] let's stop and consider the beasts of

[19:41] the field carry pestilence and disease

[19:45] that's coming the tribulation time is

[19:50] imagine 1 billion to 1.5 billion

[19:54] people their bodies
