[0:04] Live, Kurt Ledllo, Shauna Parsons,
[0:08] meteorologist Rod Hill, and Tim Becker,
[0:11] sports. This is the 10:00 news.
[0:15] >> Good evening. A very busy evening
[0:17] tonight at Portland International
[0:18] Airport. Suspected murderer Christian
[0:20] Longo arrived back in Oregon at PDX just
[0:22] hours ago.
[0:23] >> But before we get to that, you probably
[0:24] heard jets in the sky tonight. US
[0:27] fighter jets scrambled from Portland Air
[0:29] Base. This is what we know.
[0:31] >> The Oregon Air National Guard sent up
[0:32] two F-15 fighter jets after receiving a
[0:36] call about a small personal aircraft not

[1:05] also said the F-15s could be sent up
[1:07] again at the FAA's request. We received
[1:10] many calls from viewers who say they
[1:12] spotted the jets on their patrol. 911
[1:14] dispatchers also reported calls from the
[1:16] east side of the river in North Portland
[1:18] where the sound of explosions filled the
[1:20] air tonight. Well, those explosions
[1:22] turned out to be special effects testing
[1:24] for filming of the movie The Hunted.
[1:26] >> Now, on to our other top story. After
[1:28] three weeks on the run, Christian Longo
[1:30] is back in Oregon.
