[0:01] Welcome to this meditation.

[0:25] Allow yourself to feel incomplete in this moment.

[0:39] Unprepared, but here.

[1:08] Allow yourself to devote your energy to meditation right now, even if your mind is elsewhere.

[1:37] What is the simplest way to show up?

[2:00] You might notice it when you take your next breath.

[2:13] Or when you feel the rhythm of your heart beating.

[2:25] Or you feel the temperature in the room.

[2:27] Thank you.

[2:58] So our goal in this meditation is going to be to bring ourselves one step closer to experience.

[3:12] One step closer to immediate experience.

[3:18] Is that possible?

[3:24] For you?

[3:25] 1

[3:28] 3

[3:28] 4

[3:30] 8

[3:30] 9

[3:49] 10

[3:50] 11

[3:54] 12

[3:55] 16

[3:55] 21

[3:58] Maybe it means to be with yourself in a way that you haven't been before.

[4:23] To give yourself the grace of being with yourself in a way that you haven't been before.

[4:48] And to discover the natural curiosity with being alive.

[5:16] To just feel the pulsating sensations.

[5:22] The subtle ones.

[5:24] Thank you.

[5:26] Are you okay.

[5:52] or without expectation.

[5:59] Thank you.

[6:31] Do you have an expectation?

[6:39] Can you let it go?

[6:45] Can you notice an expectation and then let it go?

[6:52] Again and again and again.

[7:16] Can you notice a framing of this moment?

[7:26] And let it go.

[7:34] In the next frame, let it go.

[7:48] Can you notice impatience?

[8:01] What is that like?

[8:20] Maybe it's something that wants to move.

[8:25] So let it move.

[8:27] Don't force it to be still.

[8:57] And within this, can you notice joy?

[9:02] The unbridled joy of just being here.

[9:45] And notice how that joy is in flux.

[9:49] It doesn't stop.

[10:01] It's nature is movement.

[10:09] It vibrates.

[10:12] Thank you.

[10:38] Thanks, Chris.

[10:41] Thanks, Projektman.

[11:09] But something comes to a complete stop.

[11:21] up.

[11:24] When you see the movement for what it is, and let it morph endlessly.

[11:44] Something stops.

[11:50] Something gets out of the way.

[12:11] and there's an indecipherable stillness

[12:21] that never started and will never end.

[12:57] And that stillness is the backdrop of your experience all the time.

[13:12] It's not a destination, it's the backdrop, and it's always there no matter how frazzled

[13:30] the mind gets.

[13:39] It's untouched by the movements of mind.

[14:06] And it's found in the endless movement.

[14:30] It's found in the unfolding of change.

[14:34] Change.

[14:42] Transition.

[14:44] .

[15:43] So what would it look like to take one step closer?

[15:46] To yourself.

[16:17] .

[16:51] Make the choice to take one step closer to your experience.

[17:14] Appreciate the power of that urge to turn away, it's powerful.

[17:28] We all encounter it, but it doesn't have to run our lives, like on autopilot, it doesn't

[17:46] have to be that way.

[17:54] So can you notice the urge to turn away?

[18:00] Not judge it, welcome it.

[18:10] Empathize with it.

[18:15] There's an aliveness to it.

[18:22] There's a willfulness to it.

[18:44] But just notice that as a simple urge.

[18:52] And you, with your attention, can take one micro step closer to experience.

[19:09] So whatever you're sitting with right now, whatever is present, whatever texture, quality,

[19:31] what is yearning to be felt and experienced?

[19:39] Let go of it.

[19:47] To experience something is to let it go.

[19:51] To experience it fully is to allow it to pass.

[20:03] To open up the channels of experience.

[20:18] So to approach something is to surrender.

[20:39] To avoid something is to hold on.

[21:00] So find the courage to approach your experience.

[21:22] And to meet the gatekeeper of pain.

[21:35] Pain is, presents itself to be experienced.

[21:40] To see what it's really all about.

[21:48] What is pain when directly experienced?

[21:53] Is it what you think it is?

[22:22] So whatever you're sitting with, slow down just a little bit.

[22:33] Just enough to see your relationship with it.

[22:41] Your relationship with your experience right now.

[23:11] Maybe you can take another step.

[23:14] Just enough to take another step towards it.

[23:40] Imagine that you're crawling towards your experience.

[23:48] With the gentleness and the fierceness, a determination to open your eyes and have the strength to keep them open.

[24:19] To look at, to see that what you do not want to see.

[25:03] What do I not want to see right now?

[25:19] What do I not want to allow to be seen?

[25:37] What am I hiding from myself?

[25:52] What simple, simple truth am I not admitting?

[25:58] Because you know the truth.

[26:08] It's the most simple statement underlying your experience at the root.

[26:37] Allow yourself to tell the truth and to have the eyes to see.

[27:03] Right here.

[27:08] It is only found here.

[27:20] I'm not going to lie.

[27:20] But not only what are you hiding from yourself.

[27:20] It is only found here.
