[17:49] Thanksgiving is about being grateful to

[17:55] Thanksgiving not just a holiday we

[17:58] celebrate a year but an attitude we

[18:01] carry with us every day and everywhere

[18:07] Thanksgiving not just thanking God when

[18:10] life is good but trusting him because he

[18:13] is good in every season and every

[18:17] circumstance this is

[18:19] Thanksgiving a time to look back and

[18:22] remember all that God has done this past

[18:24] year and a time to look forward in faith

[18:28] to what he might do in the coming

[18:31] year in a world where so much is

[18:33] changing we serve a God who never

[18:36] changes he is the same yesterday today

[18:41] and forever so this week is an

[18:44] opportunity to remember the greatest

[18:47] blessing of all the grace we have in

[18:51] Jesus this is Thanksgiving

[20:45] remedy for every

[20:48] sin there is a cure for

[20:52] all all the pain and hurt and wrong

[20:55] there is a solution

[20:59] for all the problems deep inside there

[21:03] is a remedy and his name is Jesus

[23:57] the chapter which would be the whole

[24:00] stand and honor the word of God as we

[24:02] read from Psalm 100 this evening verses

[24:05] 1-5 seven imperatives of

[24:09] Thanksgiving seven imperatives of

[24:12] Thanksgiving Make a Joyful Noise unto

[24:15] the Lord All Ye Lands serve the Lord

[24:19] with gladness come before his presence

[24:22] with singing know ye that the Lord he is

[24:26] God it is he that hath made us and not

[24:29] we ourselves we are his people and the

[24:32] Sheep of his pasture enter into his

[24:35] gates with Thanksgiving and into his

[24:38] courts with praise be thankful unto him

[24:42] and bless his name let's read verse five

[24:46] together shall we for the Lord is good

[24:50] his Mercy is Everlasting and his truth

[24:55] endureth to all generations go Lord in

[24:58] prayer Heavenly Father Lord I Thank you

[25:00] for the opportunity to preach your word

[25:02] tonight Lord I pray if you would please

[25:04] cleanse me of sin and empty me of myself

[25:06] that I might get out of the way tonight

[25:07] and your word may go forth Lord I pray

[25:09] you'd help us to have an attitude of

[25:11] gratitude and that it not just be during

[25:13] the week of Thanksgiving but truly be a

[25:16] life filled with thanks Lord thank you

[25:19] for all that you've done for us this

[25:20] evening help us to have a great time

[25:22] together in your name I pray amen you

[25:26] seated I want to remind you how how we

[25:28] ended the service this

[25:30] morning God only let you keep what you

[25:34] thanked him for this week what would you

[25:38] have well there's seven imperatives of

[25:41] thanks living you want to live a life of

[25:43] thanks there's seven imperatives found

[25:46] in Psalm 100 that I think we ought to

[25:49] pay attention to the first one's found

[25:51] in verse one the first imperative Make a

[25:54] Joyful Noise unto the Lord all Ye Lands

[25:59] uh do you see the all

[26:02] there you be part of the all and I be

[26:06] part of the all you say well I can't

[26:08] sing it said

[26:10] noise Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord

[26:13] your heart ought to produce a Joyful

[26:18] Noise unto God wherever you're at you

[26:22] ought to have a the Bible says he put a

[26:23] new song in my

[26:26] heart there's a song in my heart you

[26:28] ought to wake up I have a son I won't

[26:30] tell you his name but it's the same as

[26:32] my first

[26:35] name and all the time he's got a song in

[26:39] his

[26:40] heart all the

[26:44] time all the time no matter what time of

[26:47] day it is or

[26:50] night or what's going on he's got a song

[26:53] in his heart and you can get upset with

[26:55] people like that you're like oh don't

[26:57] you but listen I'd rather hear people

[27:00] praise the Lord and Make a Joyful Noise

[27:03] unto the Lord than people going around

[27:05] singing the world's

[27:07] music amen you say well I can't carry a

[27:10] tune in the bucket that's okay get a

[27:14] wheelbarrow we're we're singing unto the

[27:16] Lord Make a Joyful it's an imperative

[27:18] this is not well if you feel like

[27:20] it verse when we get to the end of the

[27:23] chapter I'm going to give you the why of

[27:25] the imperative but it is make a joy F

[27:28] Noise unto the Lord All Ye

[27:32] Lands I Love My

[27:35] Mama but my mama

[27:38] struggles to carry notes in a sequence

[27:42] together but if you've ever met my mama

[27:44] in a church service she's singing unto

[27:46] the

[27:47] Lord because she sings from her heart

[27:50] unto the Lord my sister Bethany who's

[27:53] two years younger than me was very

[27:55] musical as a child she played the piano

[27:58] she sang uh she even wrote a couple

[28:00] songs she's very gifted and God gave her

[28:03] some abilities there and I remember

[28:05] being small and we were traveling and

[28:07] we're singing with my dad and her and I

[28:10] and she said she reached up and she put

[28:13] her hand we had stopped and we were

[28:15] eating at a rest stop and we were

[28:17] singing a song and we were practicing

[28:19] with my dad because we were going to

[28:20] sing a song at the Revival meeting he

[28:22] was preaching and my sister took her

[28:24] hand and put it over mommy's mouth and

[28:25] said Mom no

[28:29] no Mama it's not good

[28:32] no but I'm thankful every time that I've

[28:36] ever seen my mom in church she's singing

[28:39] from her heart to the

[28:41] Lord and that song that's in her heart

[28:44] and so you may say well it doesn't sound

[28:46] good to the Lord It's A Joyful Noise to

[28:50] the Lord It's a song of Thanksgiving to

[28:52] the Lord It's a song of praise and

[28:55] listen if he's done something for you if

[28:58] he's changed your life if he saved your

[29:01] soul you at least ought to get up and

[29:03] sing thank you Lord for saving my soul

[29:06] hey if if you can only do it in the

[29:09] shower do it in the shower if you're in

[29:11] the car and nobody else is in there just

[29:13] sing it from your heart to the Lord

[29:15] we'll just pull up next to you and go

[29:17] what's wrong with

[29:20] them but that's okay because you're

[29:22] singing unto the Lord it's imperative

[29:24] hey God's people ought to praise His

[29:26] name God's people ought to sing unto him

[29:28] you say well I can't yes you

[29:31] can he didn't say make a melodious

[29:35] Harmony to the Lord he said Make a

[29:37] Joyful Noise the noise comes from the

[29:39] vocal cords The Joy comes from the heart

[29:42] and your heart ought to be joyful you're

[29:44] breathing today you're living today hey

[29:48] we ought to thank God that we got breath

[29:51] we talked about it this morning and all

[29:53] the things that he did in our miraculous

[29:54] body with the blood that pumps through

[29:56] our heart with all the things that he

[29:58] he's done hey we ought to praise His

[30:01] name we ought to sing praise to his

[30:04] name that's imperative number one for

[30:06] thanksging if you're going to live a

[30:07] life of Praise You got to have a

[30:09] song you got to Make Some Noise unto the

[30:13] Lord second imperative if you're going

[30:14] to live a life of Thanksgiving verse

[30:16] number two serve the Lord with

[30:20] gladness not serve the Lord with sadness

[30:24] serve the Lord with

[30:25] gladness hey it is a joy to serve the

[30:29] Lord amen I get frustrated with pastors

[30:33] and preachers who talk to people about

[30:35] the ministry like it's the worst thing

[30:38] in the whole entire world it's not it's

[30:41] a joy to serve the Lord It's a high

[30:43] calling it's a step down to become

[30:45] president of the United States and to

[30:48] leave the office that God's called you

[30:49] to as a preacher and a minister of the

[30:51] Gospel that would be a step down in my

[30:53] opinion to work serve God and to do what

[30:56] God's called you to do it ought to be

[30:57] done with

[31:01] gladness vacuum in the floor in the

[31:03] auditorium ought to be done with

[31:06] gladness teaching preschoolers ought to

[31:08] be done with

[31:10] gladness hanging on to spitting up

[31:13] babies in the

[31:14] nursery ought to be done with

[31:20] gladness all the work that we do for the

[31:23] Lord ought not to be a

[31:25] drudgery hey if you're serving the lord

[31:27] and it bothers you something's wrong

[31:30] with

[31:31] you it's not with what you're doing is

[31:34] who you're doing it for if it's

[31:36] bothering you it's because you're doing

[31:38] it for you and not for him to have a

[31:41] life of Thanksgiving serve the Lord with

[31:44] gladness imperative number

[31:47] three come before his

[31:51] presence with

[31:54] singing come before his presence with

[31:59] singing songs of praise as David wrote

[32:02] The Psalm Psalm 100 here they would

[32:05] enter in into the temple and sing songs

[32:07] of

[32:09] praise a life that's full of thanks

[32:11] would enter into the temple and thank

[32:14] the Lord they'd sing the Psalms from the

[32:16] Psalms The Book of Psalms they'd sing

[32:18] unto the Lord they sing praise unto the

[32:20] Lord theyd glorify his name they

[32:23] rejoiced in the Lord and so he says when

[32:25] you come before his presence with

[32:27] singing

[32:29] Sam's not just waving his arms to wave

[32:32] his arms he is leading a congregation

[32:36] and praise and worship to the Lord we

[32:40] ought to sing from our heart to the lord

[32:42] well he ain't done nothing for me lately

[32:47] on hey I just want to remind you he gave

[32:52] you the mouth that you choose to

[32:56] complain instead instead of Praise His

[32:59] Name we ought to use this mouth the

[33:02] voice that we got to sing praise unto

[33:05] his name we're to come before his

[33:06] presence with singing That's imperative

[33:09] number three God's people ought to sing

[33:11] say I don't want to well I got news for

[33:13] you according to the Book of Revelation

[33:14] there's a lot of singing in heaven might

[33:22] but you need to get your key from your

[33:25] heart and your heart be on Q and on key

[33:39] be singing unto the Lord say well that's

[33:53] who told him what to write God did so

[33:56] evidently my friend according to God and

[33:59] according to his word it's important for

[34:02] a person to sing unto the

[34:06] Lord it's in the book take it up with

[34:09] the author if you don't like

[34:12] it but you're wrong he's right come

[35:31] we know that the Lord he is God we ought

[35:38] fourth imperative we ought to know he's

[35:49] balls of gas colliding together and a

[35:51] gases explosion produced life you didn't

[35:54] crawl out of a pond of scum and become a

[35:56] human being no you are fearfully and

[35:58] wonderfully made by God and God's design

[36:02] for you is to make you to be

[36:04] you I'm so thankful that God has a

[36:07] designed plan that my wife doesn't look

[36:10] like

[36:11] me that man she looks like her and I

[36:16] like how she looks and I tell her often

[36:19] I like how she looks by the way every

[36:21] husband ought to tell his wife often how

[36:33] us for some of us we recognized God's

[36:37] humor because he made

[37:09] never get over that God made you to be

[37:16] the skills that he gave you the talents

[37:18] that he gave you well I didn't get what

[37:19] they got just be thankful what you

[37:22] got but be more thankful for who gave

[37:24] you what you got say well I want want

[37:27] more well go talk to God about it and

[37:30] maybe God say well you can't handle more

[37:33] because if I gave you more talent and I

[37:35] gave you more ability it go to your head

[37:37] and you'd be dwelling in Pride kind of

[37:40] Lucifer who fell from heaven because of

[37:42] his pride where he said I will send I

[37:46] will be like the most I he had an eye

[37:50] problem maybe God didn't give you all

[37:52] the talent in the world because he knew

[37:53] you couldn't handle

[37:54] it just a thought we ought to recognize

[37:58] that the Lord he is God he hath made us

[38:01] look at the next part of that verse

[38:02] verse number three we are his people and

[38:06] the Sheep of his

[38:09] pasture so Jesus is God the Lord is God

[38:13] he we are his people and the Sheep of

[38:16] his

[38:22] 23 and read about how David described

[38:26] the Lord as our Shepherd the Lord is my

[38:29] shepherd I shall not what want he maketh

[38:34] me to lie down in Green Pastures he

[38:37] leadth me beside the Still Waters he

[38:39] restoreth my soul he leadth me in the

[38:42] paths of righteousness for his name say

[38:44] yay though I walk through the valley of

[39:09] 23 he he's a personal Shepherd hey know

[39:13] the Lord he is God but he also ought to

[39:15] know he's your God he's your Shepherd

[39:18] have you talked to him

[39:21] today he the Lord is my shepher it's

[39:25] personal got a personal relationship

[39:28] with the shepherd He has Personal Care

[39:31] over you he carth for his sheep the New

[39:34] Testament says my sheep hear my voice

[39:35] and I know them and they don't be he he

[39:38] knows you he cares all about you he he

[39:42] you you need to know that the Lord he

[39:43] God you're a sheep and his pasture he

[39:45] cares for

[39:50] you but a life of thanks living it's

[39:53] imperative knowing that the Lord is your

[39:56] Shepherd

[39:58] you're his

[39:59] sheep you're not the shepherd I'm not

[40:02] the shepherd he's the

[40:05] shepherd as a pastor I'm just the under

[40:08] sheeper I'm just taking Commandments and

[40:11] instructions from the chief

[40:14] Shepherd and all I got to do is follow

[40:16] the instructions of the chief Shepherd

[40:18] but in our personal life we we don't

[40:20] need to fight the shepherd the shepherd

[40:22] knows what's

[40:23] best the shepherd knows where the Sheep

[40:25] need to be the shepherd knows knows how

[40:27] to protect the Sheep feed the sheep care

[40:29] for the Sheep help the Sheep heal the

[40:31] Sheep he knows all about the Sheep why

[40:34] because they're his

[40:35] sheep you got to know that the Lord he

[40:37] is God number five is found in verse

[40:40] number

[40:41] four enter into his gates with what's

[40:45] the word there church

[40:47] yeah when they'd come to

[40:50] worship thatd enter into the temple with

[40:54] Thanksgiving Spirit of thanks

[40:58] well fast forward to

[41:00] 2024 how do we enter into his

[41:03] gates with Thanksgiving it's through the

[41:05] vehicle of

[41:06] prayer hey hey your prayer life ought to

[41:09] have some thanks in

[41:11] it

[41:13] regularly not just on Thanksgiving week

[41:16] regularly there ought to be a season of

[41:20] thanks in your prayer

[41:22] life as you enter into the presence of

[41:25] God listen when was the last time that

[41:29] your prayer Voice Was Heard in heaven

[41:32] with something other than a

[41:37] request when's the last time your prayer

[41:39] voice fell on the ears of God was

[41:41] something more than God help me God I

[41:44] need this God I need that when was the

[41:47] last time that God heard your voice

[41:49] thank you

[41:51] Lord thank you God thank you Lord for

[41:56] creating me thank you thank you for

[41:57] giving me life thank you for what you've

[41:59] done for me thank you for providing for

[42:01] me you're to enter his gates with

[42:03] Thanksgiving hey before we even get

[42:04] there we ought to have a spirit of

[42:07] thanks imperative number six is found in

[42:11] verse number four and into his courts

[42:15] with

[42:17] praise into his courts with

[42:22] praise we got to thank God for what he's

[42:25] done we also ought to praise God and

[42:28] thank God for who he

[42:30] is we ought to praise the Lord you ought

[42:33] to be able listen you ought to be able

[42:35] to quote back to God the promises he

[42:37] quoted to you and thank him for

[42:41] it in your prayer time it might be a

[42:43] good practice to say Lord thank you that

[42:46] you promised you'd never leave me nor

[42:48] forsake me thank you Lord that you'd

[42:50] promis you're the God of All Comfort

[42:53] thank you God that you promised that you

[42:54] would be there for me thank you God that

[42:58] you got a whole

[42:59] list of promises from the word of

[43:02] God thank you God that you promised me a

[43:05] home in heaven thank you God that you're

[43:07] preparing a place for me in heaven thank

[43:10] you God for your abundant Mercy thank

[43:13] you God for your Everlasting

[43:16] promises when was the last

[43:18] time your prayer Voice Was Heard with

[43:21] some praise and not just some request

[43:25] hey these are not suggestions these are

[43:28] imperatives if you're going to live a

[43:30] life of thanks an imperative is a

[43:32] command God is saying hey when you come

[43:35] to pray you better come with some

[43:38] Thanksgiving when you come to pray you

[43:40] better come with some

[43:42] praise he's not the genie and the bottle

[43:45] that you rub to get what you want he is

[43:48] the god almighty who created this world

[43:51] who hung the stars in space and when we

[43:54] come into His presence we ought to come

[43:56] with praise

[43:58] Thanksgiving unto our

[44:01] God the seventh imperative is redundant

[44:04] but it's found in verse four be thankful

[44:07] unto him and bless his name imperative

[44:13] number seven of Life thans be thankful

[44:15] unto him not be thankful unto me be

[44:18] thankful unto what you got be thankful

[44:21] to your job be thankful no recognize be

[44:24] thankful unto him

[44:27] all the praise goes to

[44:29] Jesus all the glory goes to

[44:33] him thank him be thankful unto him and

[44:38] bless his name so we've given you seven

[44:42] imperatives from the first four verses

[44:46] here but

[44:49] sometimes like

[44:53] children we have a

[44:55] tendency to ask

[45:00] why

[45:02] why well verse five gives us the

[45:05] why for the

[45:08] Lord is what church good I want to pause

[45:12] there just for a minute I want to spend

[45:14] a whole lot of time here but the Lord is

[45:16] good not that the Lord does good the

[45:18] Lord is good that's his character he's

[45:20] good God is not good because what he

[45:22] does in your life God is good because

[45:24] God is good

[45:27] cuz listen if you're only basing that

[45:28] God is good because of what he's done

[45:30] for you then when he hasn't done

[45:32] something lately your opinion of God

[45:33] will come

[45:35] down because if your opinion is God is

[45:38] good because God made me have this or

[45:40] God gave me this the old saying that

[45:43] kids say Mommy's great because she gave

[45:45] me chocolate

[45:47] cake and the next day mom gave me

[45:50] broccoli so mommy wasn't as

[45:52] good

[45:54] no sometimes in our life listen

[45:57] sometimes in our life we think well

[45:59] because he's doing good he is good and

[46:02] it's easy to praise him but when I go

[46:04] through hard times God's not good

[46:06] anymore no no no my friend he's still

[46:07] good he's still God he's still worthy to

[46:10] be praised we ought to enter his court

[46:12] with Thanksgiving because he is

[46:15] good we could put a period right there

[46:18] the Lord he is good

[46:20] period but David wrote more under the

[46:23] inspiration of God hey hey it's enough

[46:27] that the Lord is good that we enter his

[46:29] courts with Thanksgiving that we make a

[46:31] Joyful Noise unto him that we serve the

[46:33] Lord with gladness it's enough it's

[46:36] enough just that he's good we can get

[46:39] all seven just because he's

[46:42] good but there's more look at verse five

[46:47] his

[46:48] Mercy

[46:50] is

[46:51] [Music]

[46:54] Everlasting his Mercy

[46:57] is

[47:00] Everlasting it's not

[47:03] temporary it's

[47:06] Everlasting it's not for a period of

[47:09] time it is

[47:12] eternal God's Mercy is

[47:15] Everlasting we ought to make a Joyful

[47:17] Noise unto the

[47:19] Lord because he's

[47:22] merciful and his Mercy is Everlasting we

[47:25] ought to serve the Lord with gladness

[47:26] because none of us deserve to be able to

[47:29] serve the Lord but God who is rich in

[47:32] Mercy allows us to serve

[47:37] him hey Uncle Sam needs you was the old

[47:42] slogan for the Army Uncle Sam needs

[47:47] you God watch this chooses to use

[47:53] you that's a big difference God chooses

[47:56] to use you and I in our sinful state in

[48:01] our messed up lives with all the baggage

[48:03] that we got God looks at us says I can

[48:06] use

[48:08] that why because his Mercy is

[48:14] Everlasting number five verse five not

[48:17] only for the Lord is good his Mercy is

[48:19] Everlasting the end of the verse and his

[48:21] truth endureth to all

[48:25] generations his truth continues to all

[48:31] generations God was good in the Old

[48:34] Testament God is good in the New

[48:35] Testament God is good today and God will

[48:37] be good tomorrow the truth of the word

[48:40] of God was good in the Old Testament the

[48:42] truth of the word of God is good in the

[48:43] New Testament the truth of the word of

[48:45] God is good today and it'll be good

[48:48] tomorrow endures to all generation his

[48:52] truth continues on every promise that he

[48:55] promised every truth that he said says

[48:57] every doctrine that he teaches every

[48:59] word that he supplies there's no

[49:01] expiration

[49:03] need continues to all

[49:08] generations so why should we have these

[49:11] seven imperatives in our life because

[49:13] God is good God's Mercy is eternal his

[49:16] truth continues to all

[49:19] generations there is no expiration date

[49:22] on God's goodness on God's mercy and on

[49:25] God's truth

[49:30] so when I was a youth pastor we had a

[49:32] refrigerator that um we used for our

[49:34] youth activities and uh other people

[49:37] used the church had multiple

[49:38] refrigerators in the kitchen and uh

[49:41] people would put stuff in there and

[49:42] different classes would put stuff in

[49:43] there and sometimes people would do an

[49:47] event and they'd have breakfast and they

[49:48] would put stuff in there and then they

[49:50] forgot that they put stuff in

[49:54] there and

[49:57] we went into that refrigerator and we

[50:01] found things that could have been good

[50:05] but they were past their

[50:09] expiration and because they had passed

[50:11] their expiration date their state had

[50:15] changed what once was flowing white milk

[50:20] was no longer

[50:23] flowing what once was in liquid form was

[50:26] is no longer in liquid

[50:29] form what once smelled like milk no

[50:32] longer

[50:33] did it smelt like something had died in

[50:37] that

[50:38] container it was past its

[50:42] expiration therefore its usefulness was

[50:47] gone it was good for

[50:52] nothing in

[50:55] 2017 thank Thanksgiving week we're here

[50:58] at the

[50:59] church and we had a Wednesday night

[51:02] church service and then I was out of the

[51:05] office Thursday Friday

[51:07] Saturday no Thursday Friday came in

[51:10] Saturday and there was an

[51:12] aroma in the church

[51:15] building that did not

[51:19] belong we begin to

[51:22] investigate and evidently the years

[51:25] previous the church had a tradition

[51:28] of Sunday before Thanksgiving having a

[51:31] turkey bowling tournament they had

[51:35] frozen turkeys that they used as bowling

[51:37] balls and they rolled them across the

[51:39] gym

[51:40] floor so the turkeys that were in the

[51:45] freezer were three years past their

[51:47] expiration

[51:49] date and unfortunately the freezer

[51:52] decided for the Holy Spirit to depart

[51:55] from it and it gave up the

[51:57] ghost so that Saturday as we arrived

[52:01] brother Brown probably remembers this

[52:03] there was an

[52:04] aroma that was

[52:08] strong Pastor not thinking went to the

[52:13] freezer and opened it up and the Holy

[52:15] Ghost almost departed from

[52:19] me because the Roma was so strong my

[52:23] life almost went into eternity

[52:27] see it's one thing for them just to

[52:30] unthaw but because they were three years

[52:32] past their expiration date it was much

[52:37] worse and because of that it

[52:40] affected all of

[52:43] Saturday and thankfully we got it pretty

[52:46] much aired out before Sunday so not

[52:50] everybody

[52:51] knows except for brother Brown who we

[52:54] transported the freezer to the gym and

[52:58] he went and opened it up and began to

[53:00] clean it out cu he's nice like that and

[53:02] get the aroma to depart from it and

[53:05] after multiple scrubbings the aroma did

[53:08] depart and then he resurrected it from

[53:11] the dead and it came back to life and we

[53:13] still have that freezer

[53:17] today but the amazing

[53:22] thing is that because it passed its

[53:24] expiration date the aroma

[53:27] the

[53:29] usefulness was no longer

[53:33] good the Bible talks about our life

[53:37] being a sweet smelling Savor unto

[53:42] God the aroma of your heart the attitude

[53:45] of your life is the aroma of your heart

[53:48] if your attitude stinks it's because

[53:52] your heart is not

[53:54] right and if we're not careful for our

[53:58] usefulness to

[54:00] God the praise that should come from our

[54:04] lips ceases to come from our lips and it

[54:07] happens sometimes because we let our

[54:10] heart for God get past its expiration

[54:13] day so how do you keep that from

[54:16] happening you practice the seven

[54:19] imper you practice making a Joyful Noise

[54:21] unto the Lord he you discouraged sing

[54:24] unto God

[54:27] it'll do something to you it'll change

[54:29] your heart you're struggling and being a

[54:33] thankful servant of Lord hey every time

[54:35] we serve Lord we ought to do it with

[54:36] gladness and not with regret not with

[54:39] sadness not with anger we ought to serve

[54:42] the Lord with gladness why because he

[54:44] chose you of all people on the place of

[54:47] face of the planet that he could choose

[54:49] to use he chose you to be involved in

[54:52] his ministry and his work you ought to

[54:54] serve the Lord with gladness you ought

[54:56] to come before his presence with singing

[54:58] and sing songs of

[55:00] praise you ought to know the Lord he is

[55:02] God he's the creator of the universe he

[55:05] made

[55:06] you you ought to never let your thanks

[55:11] living

[55:14] expire your life ought to always be a

[55:17] life of

[55:20] things we sing the song how long has it

[55:25] been since you talked with the

[55:27] Lord H when's the last time you praised

[55:31] his

[55:32] name when's the last time you made a

[55:34] Joyful Noise say well I'm singing on the

[55:37] inside I hope you

[55:40] are I really hope you

[55:44] are but I want to let you know when I'm

[55:46] singing on the inside it can't help but

[55:48] come

[55:53] out when you know how good God is

[55:57] so we did it this morning I think it's

[55:59] fitting to do it again when we think

[56:03] about him and how good God

[56:09] Is We ought to remind ourselves his

[56:12] Mercy is

[56:13] Everlasting his truth endureth to all

[56:15] generations he is

[56:18] good so

[56:21] just humor me

[58:56] Knows My Name he knows the very hair

[58:58] that's numbered on my

[59:04] silent when it comes to thanking him

[59:07] ought not to be in the life of a

[59:09] Christian it ought not to be in the life

[59:12] of a Christian Thanksgiving is not a

[59:16] holiday thanks living ought to be every

[59:22] day thanking God for what he has

[59:27] so tonight let's clear off a spot

[59:30] whether there at your seat or here at

[59:32] the altar or there on the front row I

[59:34] think it's better in your spirit and

[59:36] heart when you move because it lets God

[60:36] else do it for the Lord talk to him

[65:37] presence with Thanksgiving and into his

[65:39] courts with praise what message are you

[65:42] God is he not still

[65:45] good does his Mercy still not endure to

[65:49] all generations is this truth not

[65:51] enduring to it still

[65:54] is don't let let the attitude of your

[65:57] heart affect your gratitude for your God

[66:02] instead let the attitude of our hearts

[66:04] speak the Gratitude we have for this

[66:14] to the house of God tonight as well

[66:17] we're trying to help the young people

[66:18] get to camp and get to youth conference

[66:28] some pies that they've made or pies that

[66:30] they bought and so they're going to be

[66:32] down there in the fellowship hall and

[66:33] we're going to auction them off not the

[66:35] teenagers the pies okay so that's a

[66:39] whole another auction that we'll do some

[66:41] no I'm just teasing a little bit so but

[66:44] we are going to auction off the pie so

[66:45] listen you may say well I got to have a

[66:49] pie for Thanksgiving anyway hey guess

[66:51] what Tuesday night's like pie and praise

[66:53] night you could buy one and just leave

[67:01] you but every dollar that's raised goes

[67:03] into the camp account and the youthcon

[67:05] account to help get kids to Camp

[67:07] teenagers to Camp so you may say well I

[67:10] only I don't want to spend a whole lot

[67:11] of money remember you're sending a kid

[67:15] to camp and Camp is a week of Lifetime

[67:18] decisions I surrendered to the Lord to

[67:21] Ministry at

[67:23] Camp I I surrendered to what God had for

[67:26] my life at church

[67:29] camp at youthcon some of the guys that

[67:31] we have that are in college right now at

[67:33] youthcon and that camp confirmed in

[67:34] their hearts that that's what God wanted

[67:36] them to do is that those events so it's

[67:39] a great opportunity to invest in the

[67:41] future and the Next Generation so you

[67:43] say

[67:44] well I guess I could do it well do it

[67:46] besides if you have somebody that you

[67:48] want to pick on tonight and provoke into

[67:51] love and good works just try to outbid

[67:53] them

[67:55] because all the money is going to help

[67:57] kids get to Camp it'll be great and so

[67:59] we're going to have that down in the

[68:01] fellowship hall here in just a little

[68:03] bit but again all that goes to help kids

[68:04] get to Camp get to youth conferences so

[68:07] that' be a blessing so I'd encourage you

[68:08] to come down and besides we're gonna
