[0:04] And uh you said something about troop

[0:06] levels. Our policy is stand up, stand

[0:09] down. As the Iraqis stand up, we'll

[0:10] stand down. But if we stand down too

[0:12] soon, it won't enable us to achieve our

[0:15] objectives. And we will support this

[0:18] Iraqi government. That's what I went to

[0:19] tell him. We'll do what it takes to

[0:21] support them. And part of that support

[0:23] is the presence of coalition forces.

[0:29] Thank you, Mr. President. You expressed

[0:31] serious concern when you learned about

[0:33] the Guantanamo suicides and you and your

[0:35] aids immediately called allies. I'm

[0:37] wondering how concerned are you about

[0:39] the US image abroad based on this

[0:42] incident and the ongoing investigation

[0:44] in Haditha and and Abu Grave and other

[0:47] incidents? And also, why shouldn't

[0:49] Guantanamo be closed now? H uh I'd like

[0:52] to close Guantanamo,

[0:55] but I also recognize that uh uh

[1:00] that we hold in some people that are

[1:01] darn dangerous

[1:04] and that we better have a plan uh to

[1:06] deal with them in uh in our courts and

[1:08] the best way to handle and my judgment

[1:10] handle these types of people to our

[1:12] military courts. And that's why we're

[1:13] waiting on the Supreme Court to make a

[1:14] decision. Part of closing Guantanamo is

[1:17] to send some folks back home like we've

[1:20] been doing and the State Department's in

[1:23] the process of encouraging, you know,

[1:26] countries to take the folks back.

[1:29] Of course, sometimes we get criticized

[1:31] for sending some people out of

[1:32] Guantanamo back to their home country

[1:33] because of the nature of the home

[1:35] country. It's a little bit of a catch

[1:36] 22, but we're working through this.
