[0:00] good morning Bible Baptist Church family

[0:02] and I hope you're having a good Monday

[0:04] morning we're trying to release content

[0:07] every day a word of encouragement and

[0:09] today we're at my house this morning and

[0:12] looking forward to sharing with you a

[0:14] scripture passage from the Word of God

[0:17] today's March 23rd and so our text is

[0:20] going to be the 23rd psalm the Bible

[0:23] says the Lord is my shepherd I shall not

[0:26] want he maketh me to lie down in green

[0:29] pastures he leadeth me beside the still

[0:32] waters he restoreth my soul he leadeth

[0:36] me in the paths of righteousness for his

[0:38] name's sake yea though I walk through

[0:41] the valley of the shadow of death I will

[0:44] fear no evil for thou art with me thy

[0:47] rod and thy staff they comfort me

[0:49] thou prepares the table before me in the

[0:52] presence of mine enemies thou anointest

[0:54] my head with oil my cup runneth over

[0:58] surely goodness and mercy shall follow

[1:00] me all the days of my life and I will

[1:04] dwell in the house of the Lord forever

[1:07] David writing this Psalm is encouraging

[1:10] one another and even us about the

[1:13] personal relationship with the shepherd

[1:15] the shepherd one who cares for his sheep

[1:18] one who protects his sheep and he

[1:21] compares that with our relationship to

[1:23] the Lord he says the Lord is my shepherd

[1:25] I shall not want the Lord provides all

[1:28] that we need today you woke up and the

[1:31] Lord was with you thank God he woke you

[1:34] up today thank God for some of you that

[1:36] he made coffee so you could have coffee

[1:39] this morning

[1:39] but thankful that you woke up this

[1:42] morning and he's right there for your

[1:44] day in fact nothing will happen to you

[1:46] today that hasn't already crossed the

[1:48] desk of God this morning I want to

[1:50] remind her also that as the Good

[1:52] Shepherd he the Jesus Christ makes

[1:55] requests of you today he prays to the

[1:58] heavenly father the Bible says that he

[2:00] daily sitteth at the right hand of the

[2:03] father making intercession for us I want

[2:06] to encourage her also that he maketh me

[2:08] to lie down in green pastures he leadeth

[2:11] me beside still

[2:12] waters he restoreth my soul he leadeth

[2:16] me in the paths of righteousness for his

[2:18] name's sake and yea though I walk

[2:20] through the valley of the shadow of

[2:21] death I will fear no evil every day

[2:24] today in this week you'll be confronted

[2:27] with fear and when your fear comes

[2:29] reminded that you have faith faith in

[2:33] the Lord and that your faith needs to be

[2:35] a challenge to your fear now today as

[2:38] you go throughout your day remember the

[2:40] Lord is with you remember the Lord wants

[2:42] to help you and he is your shepherd

[2:45] he's going to protect you from the

[2:47] wolves he's going to protect you from

[2:49] danger yes sometimes he has to use the

[2:52] shepherd's crook in order to get our

[2:53] attention but overall they're separate

[2:56] cares for the sheep so on a challenge

[2:58] here today be encouraged the Lord is

[3:00] your Shepherd it's personal just as

[3:17] that you could have everlasting life the

[3:18] Bible tells us for all have sinned and

[3:21] come short of the glory of God but yet

[3:24] God commendeth his love in Romans 5:8

[3:26] but God commendeth his love toward us

[3:28] and now while we were yet sinners Christ

[3:30] died for us

[3:32] Romans 10:13 tells us for whosoever

[3:34] shall call upon the name of the Lord

[3:36] shall be saved my friend this morning if

[3:39] you don't have a personal relationship

[3:40] with the Shepherd you've got to walk

[3:44] this world alone you've got to face your

[3:47] fears

[3:48] with your own strength but as a child of

[3:51] God you have the strength of the Lord
