[0:00] If you have a perfect strategy but poor
[0:02] execution, you don't win. What's even
[0:05] worse is like you don't even know why
[0:06] you didn't win. You ship a thing, every
[0:08] day you learn, you feed it back in, you
[0:11] ship the next thing, you learn, you feed
[0:12] it back in, you get a shot every day.
[0:14] Everyone is more tired than we think.
[0:16] Nobody wants to learn a new thing. What
[0:19] they want is like a sense of relief.
[0:20] Like they want a sanctuary where stuff
[0:22] just feels like it's working for them. I
[0:24] ask GPT for feedback all the time. So I
[0:27] was like, this is just going to tell me
[0:28] more of what I know. this is not going
[0:29] to be weird, it's going to be fine. And
[0:31] so it somehow broke through the maybe
[0:34] nice stuff that GPT had been telling me
[0:36] about myself. And it was basically like,
[0:40] >> all right, welcome everyone. My guest
[0:41] today is Ammy, former chief product
[0:43] officer at Fair and product leader at
[0:45] WhatsApp. And you know, I think one of
[0:47] my favorite newsletters is Amy's the
[0:49] harder parts of growth. and uh she's
[0:52] written everything from how simplicity
[0:53] is a competitive advantage to why
[0:55] execution beat strategy and to how to
[0:57] protect your counter for deep work and
[0:59] these are all topics that I care deeply
[1:00] about. So so yeah really excited to talk
[1:03] to Ammy about all this and also how she
[1:05] uses AI in her life. So welcome Amy.
[1:08] >> Yeah I appreciate it. I'm so glad we're
[1:10] getting a chance to hang out. It's nice
[1:12] to see. Thanks for having me on.
[1:13] >> Awesome. So you know this is like kind
[1:15] of like a AI focused podcast. So I
[1:16] always like start this
