[0:00] Looking live at Powerball Fever. $200
[0:03] million up for grabs in a 21 state
[0:06] lottery. The drawing is tonight, so
[0:08] there's still time to test your luck and
[0:10] buy a ticket today, Wednesday, August
[0:12] 22nd, 2001.
[0:17] From NBC News, this is Today [cheering]
[0:22] with Katie Carrick and Matt Lowauour
[0:25] live from Studio 1A in Rockefeller
[0:29] Plaza.
[0:29] >> And good morning. Welcome to Today on a

[1:01] means for the Senate and the balance of
[1:02] power. And Gary Condid is breaking his
[1:04] silence this week. Is there anything he
[1:06] can say to get his reputation back?
[1:08] We'll talk to some experts about that as
[1:10] well.
[1:10] >> There is some sad news on that manhunt
[1:12] in California. The three-year-old son of
[1:14] the man suspected of going on a killing
[1:16] spree on Monday, allegedly murdering his
[1:18] pregnant wife and four other relatives.
[1:20] That three-year-old son was found dead
[1:22] and the suspect is still at
