[0:00] We have been doing AI since before it
[0:03] was cool. Cameron, a co-founder and
[0:05] chief product officer of Canva, but how
[0:08] do you think about like the simplicity
[0:09] and approachability when it comes to AI?
[0:14] Two weeks later, we started getting all
[0:15] these reports from our customers about
[0:18] rubber ducks and we were thinking like
[0:20] what the hell are you people talking
[0:21] about? How do you keep that uh culture
[0:23] alive? value called empower others which
[0:26] means giving people the power to make
[0:29] choices and to come up with decisions
[0:32] and push the product in the way that

[0:38] down a hill and this taxi just came out
[0:40] of nowhere and t-boned me and I was just
[0:43] like collapsed on the road. Ended up in
[0:45] the ambulance, had to go to hospital,
[0:46] got stitches, but we still needed code
[0:49] shipped for the launch on on Tuesday.
[0:55] Okay, welcome everyone. My guest today
[0:57] is Cameron, a co-founder and chief
[0:59] product officer of Canva. Canva is the
[1:01] most popular design platform in the
[1:02] world with I think over a billion
[1:04] designs created a month. We're super
[1:06] excited to chat with Cameron about uh
[1:08] Canvas's AI features, maybe how AI will
[1:11] democratize the design and also Canvas's
[1:14] unique product culture that prioritizes
[1:16] coaches over managers. So, welcome
[1:18] Cameron. Thank you, Peter. It's awesome
[1:20] to be here.
[1:22] to start, can you describe Canva AI at a
[1:25] high level and kind of what kind of
[1:26] products exist there? Yeah, so Canva
[1:29] itself is a design tool for pretty much
[1:32] designing anything and we
