[0:47] revealed

[0:48] we're excited you took the time to stop

[0:49] by and visit with us today

[0:52] we're in revelation chapter seven and

[0:54] we're going to begin reading in verse

[0:56] number nine here in just a minute

[0:58] last week we talked about the 144 000

[1:00] witnesses

[1:02] that were set aside by god to be used to

[1:05] spread the gospel

[1:06] during the tribulation period we talked

[1:09] about them being from the 12 tribes of

[1:11] israel

[1:12] we talked about those tribes and the

[1:14] significance of them

[1:15] well today we're going to be diving in

[1:17] to this next section and like our last

[1:19] section

[1:20] we've got different timings and so the

[1:24] first part of our chapter we mentioned

[1:25] it could have been

[1:26] anywhere in the sealed judgments or

[1:28] possibly even before the first seal

[1:30] that these 144 000 were chosen by god

[1:34] here in our section now we know that

[1:37] what we're reading here is later on

[1:39] in the tribulation period and so it is

[1:42] later in the tribulation period and

[1:44] there's different events that have

[1:46] happened

[1:47] when this chapter part takes place so

[1:50] let's look at revelation

[1:51] chapter 7 verse 9 after this i beheld

[1:56] and lo a great multitude which no man

[1:58] could number

[1:59] of all nations and kindreds and people

[2:02] and tongues

[2:03] stood before the throne and before the

[2:05] lamb

[2:06] flowed with white robes and palms in

[2:08] their hands

[2:09] and cried with a loud voice saying

[2:11] salvation to our god

[2:13] which sitteth upon the throne and unto

[2:16] the lamb

[2:17] and all the angels stood round about the

[2:19] throne and about the elders and the four

[2:22] beasts

[2:22] they fell before the throne on their

[2:24] faces and worshiped god

[2:26] saying amen blessing and glory

[2:29] and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor

[2:32] and power

[2:33] and might be unto god forever and ever

[2:36] amen we're going to pause right there in

[2:39] our reading

[2:40] as you picture this scene there's this

[2:43] large mass an innumerable number of

[2:47] people that are gathered around the

[2:49] throne

[2:50] and it says here in our text that

[2:52] they're from all places

[2:54] all across the world the gospel doesn't

[2:58] stop

[2:58] getting spread with the rapture of the

[3:00] church god's got a plan

[3:02] to bring about the salvation of mankind

[3:05] and he uses 144 000 witnesses to spread

[3:09] the gospel throughout

[3:10] now one of the things that's interesting

[3:12] is as people are saved during the

[3:14] tribulation period

[3:15] but many of them will be martyred for

[3:18] the faith

[3:19] they'll be killed because they have

[3:20] accepted jesus christ

[3:22] and not the antichrist as god and so

[3:26] judgment will come upon them martyrdom

[3:28] will come so this scene here is in

[3:30] heaven the last scene we saw was on

[3:32] earth

[3:33] in the beginning of the chapter this

[3:35] scene has shifted back into heaven

[3:37] and john has seized this group and

[3:39] they're crying aloud salvation to our

[3:42] god

[3:43] which sitteth upon the throne and to the

[3:45] lamb

[3:47] and they're praising god there's a

[3:48] seven-fold praise here

[3:50] they stand and they worshipped him they

[3:52] said amen blessing and glory and wisdom

[3:55] and thanksgiving

[3:56] honor power and might be unto god

[3:59] forever and ever

[4:00] amen what an exciting time as they are

[4:04] gathered around the throne now

[4:06] we're going to talk a little bit more to

[4:07] tell these next few verses

[4:09] about what's happened in their life and

[4:11] while they're there

[4:13] so let's look at verse number 13. the

[4:15] bible says and one of the elders

[4:17] answered saying unto me

[4:19] what are these which are raid and white

[4:21] robes and

[4:22] whence came they questioned so it's a

[4:25] rhetorical question he asked them a

[4:27] question and

[4:28] john's response said unto him sir thou

[4:30] knowest

[4:31] he said unto me these are they which

[4:33] came out of the great

[4:34] tribulation and have washed their robes

[4:37] and made them white in the blood of the

[4:39] lamb

[4:40] therefore are they before the throne of

[4:42] god and serve him day

[4:44] and night in his temple and he that

[4:46] sitteth on the throne shall dwell among

[4:49] him they shall hunger no more

[4:52] neither thirst any more neither shall

[4:55] the sun

[4:55] light on them nor any heat for the lamb

[4:58] which is in the midst of the throne

[5:00] shall feed them

[5:01] and shall lead them unto living

[5:03] fountains of water

[5:05] and god shall wipe away all tears

[5:08] from their eyes these tribulation saints

[5:11] have been

[5:12] martyred for the faith and here they are

[5:14] in heaven

[5:15] now i want to point out to you there's

[5:16] only one way to get to heaven

[5:18] is through the shed blood of jesus

[5:20] christ jesus christ blood

[5:22] cleanses us from all sin

[5:26] these tribulation saints were saved and

[5:28] now they're in heaven

[5:30] by the blood of the lamb they've been

[5:32] washed their robes are

[5:34] white because of the blood of jesus

[5:36] christ

[5:37] notice also that they are serving the

[5:39] lord they're serving during this time

[5:42] now they've gone through some

[5:43] tribulation and by fact the bible

[5:45] described it here the great tribulation

[5:47] period

[5:48] but also some tribulation he talks about

[5:51] their

[5:52] hunger no more during the tribulation

[5:55] period when god's wrath is poured out

[5:57] upon the earth

[5:58] there will be many that are hungry there

[6:00] will be those that flee to the rocks

[6:02] that we've already heard and cried for

[6:04] the rocks to fall on them

[6:06] the storms that will come the judgments

[6:09] the seal judgments the trumpet judgments

[6:12] the bold judgments

[6:13] it's going to be awful here on earth but

[6:15] those that are here it says they'll

[6:17] hunger

[6:18] no more it also says that they will

[6:21] thirst no more neither shall the sun

[6:24] light on them nor any heat

[6:26] the struggles that they had during the

[6:28] tribulation period

[6:29] through the physical difficulties will

[6:32] be no more

[6:33] they'll be in heaven the blessed throne

[6:35] room of god at this time

[6:37] they'll get to enjoy the presence of god

[6:40] the power of god

[6:41] the comfort of god the help of god

[6:44] they'll have all of those things to

[6:46] enjoy

[6:47] now they've gone through a difficult

[6:49] time

[6:50] you'll notice here it talks about that

[6:53] god's gonna do something the lamb which

[6:55] is in the midst of the throne

[6:56] shall feed them and shall lead them unto

[6:59] living fountains

[7:01] of water he's going to take on the role

[7:03] as we find in psalm

[7:04] 23 as the shepherd the lord is my

[7:08] shepherd i

[7:08] shall not want he's going to guide and

[7:11] direct them he's going to help them he's

[7:12] going to lead them to the fountains

[7:15] of living water and then the last verse

[7:17] here it says this that god shall wipe

[7:19] away

[7:20] all tears my friend there's going to be

[7:23] those that are tribulation saints

[7:26] that will have tearful eyes tearful

[7:28] lives may be because

[7:30] there are family members of theirs still

[7:32] on earth

[7:33] that do not know the lord maybe they're

[7:35] crying because they've arrived in heaven

[7:37] and found that

[7:38] family members they thought were in

[7:40] heaven

[7:41] were not in heaven my friend well god's

[7:45] going to wipe away

[7:46] all their tears now the text here

[7:50] reminds us that this is nearing the end

[7:53] of the tribulation period

[7:54] right before god's going to set up the

[7:56] millennial kingdom

[7:58] and so the excitement comes during this

[8:00] period of time

[8:02] these tribulation saints martyred but

[8:04] they're saved the same way now if you're

[8:06] watching this video this morning

[8:08] and you do not know jesus christ as your

[8:10] savior today can be your day of

[8:12] salvation

[8:14] as we've spoken before the bible says

[8:16] that those who have rejected jesus

[8:18] christ

[8:19] that they'll believe a strong delusion

[8:21] god will send them strong delusions that

[8:23] they'll believe a lie their time

[8:25] will be up for those that have never

[8:28] heard

[8:28] during the tribulation period they'll be

[8:30] the 144

[8:31] 000 who witness they'll be the two

[8:33] witnesses we'll talk about them later

[8:36] that share the gospel and according to

[8:38] the bible

[8:39] every kindred every tongue every nation

[8:43] will have somebody present

[8:45] around the throne room of god how

[8:47] exciting that will be

[8:49] how exciting because god's plan is for

[8:52] all the world

[8:53] to hear the gospel for all people to be

[8:56] saved

[8:57] and coming to the knowledge of the truth

[8:58] it's not an elect group

[9:00] of certain people are saved and certain

[9:02] people are not no jesus christ

[9:04] came into this world to seek and to save

[9:07] that which was lost and we are all

[9:09] lost without jesus christ

[9:13] we look forward to diving into chapter

[9:16] eight

[9:16] next week and revealing the seventh seal
