[0:00] All right, so the first thing I want to
[0:02] get to is the difference between a slave
[0:05] and a servant.
[0:07] All right, there's a big difference
[0:10] between a slave and a servant.
[0:13] Now, we have already explained what a
[0:14] servant is, but a slave is very
[0:17] different. If you read in the Bible in
[0:19] the original translations, you may be
[0:21] confused because some of the original
[0:23] words in the Hebrew, you'd have the same
[0:26] Hebrew word for servant and for slave.
[0:29] Right? But you have to get the the right
[0:32] connotation, the right meaning, the
[0:34] right context. Are you with me?
[0:37] Okay, so you may be confused with the
[0:39] original words, but let's get the
[0:41] understanding.
[0:43] Uh sometimes you'll find it in the Greek
[0:44] as well, but there's a big difference.
[0:46] All right, so what is the difference?
[0:48] Everyone with me?
[0:50] A slave
[0:51] does not have free will.
[0:55] A slave's free will is taken away from
[0:57] him.
[0:58] He cannot
[1:00] ask a question.
[1:01] He cannot say anything back.
[1:05] He has no free will. A servant does have
[1:09] free will.
[1:11] That's the difference. A slave is owned
[1:14] by the master as property.
[1:18] Right? He's He's been paid for. He's
[1:21] been bought. He is my slave. I own him.
[1:26] I own his life. If he chooses a wife,
[1:29] his wife belongs to me. If he has
[1:31] children, his children belongs to me. If
[1:34] he gets if he has a house, that house
[1:36] belongs to me because he is my property.
[1:39] He has no free will. He cannot go
[1:41] anywhere without me telling him where to
[1:43] go. He cannot do anything without me
[1:45] telling him what to do. If he steps out
[1:47] of line, I can whip him.
[1:50] I can uh punish him.
[1:52] Uh
[1:53] I can remove privil
