[2:13] Heat. Heat.

[2:20] [Music]

[2:58] Good evening. Thank you for joining us

[3:01] again tonight. It's so good to see y'all

[3:03] here that nobody blew away or got lost

[3:05] in the blizzard. Um, if you are able to,

[3:08] if you're able, would you join us as we

[3:09] stand together if you're able to while

[3:11] we turn to

[3:13] 463. Song number

[3:15] 463. When the roll is called up yonder,

[3:19] I'll be there. Song number 463.

[3:26] When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound

[3:28] and time shall be no more and the glory

[3:31] breaks eternal bright and

[3:34] fair. When the sage of earth shall

[3:36] gather oh the on the other shore and the

[3:40] roll is called up yonder. I'll be

[3:43] there. When the roll is called up

[3:47] yonder. When the roll is called up

[3:51] yonder. When the roll is called up

[3:56] [Music]

[3:58] yonder. When the roll is called up

[4:00] yonder, I'll be there.

[4:04] On that bright and cloudless morning,

[4:07] when the dead in Christ shall rise, and

[4:09] the glory of his resurrection

[4:12] share, when his chosen one shall gather

[4:16] to their home beyond the skies, and the

[4:19] roll is called a yonder, I'll be there.

[4:23] When the roll is called up

[4:26] yonder. When the roll is called up

[4:30] yonder. When the roll is called up

[4:36] yonder. When the roll is called up

[4:39] yonder. I'll be there on that

[4:42] last. Let us labor for the master from

[4:46] the dawn till setting sun. Let us talk

[4:49] of all his wondrous love and

[4:51] care. And then all of life is over and

[4:55] our work on earth is done. And the roll

[4:58] is called a yonder. I'll be

[5:00] there. When the roll is called up

[5:05] yonder. When the roll is called up

[5:09] yonder. When the roll is called up

[5:13] yonder.

[5:17] When the roll is called up yonder, I'll

[5:20] be

[5:22] there. Then join me for turn to

[5:27] 331. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[5:30] follow me. Song number 331.

[5:38] [Music]

[5:45] A pilgrim was I and a wonder

[5:50] drinking. In the cold night of sin, I

[5:54] did

[5:55] roam. When Jesus, a kind shepherd, found

[6:01] me, and now I am on my way

[6:07] home. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[6:12] follow me all the days, all the days of

[6:18] my

[6:20] life. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[6:25] follow me all the days, all the days of

[6:30] my life.

[6:34] He restoreth my soul when I'm

[6:39] weary. He giveth me strength day by

[6:45] day. He leads me beside the still

[6:51] waters and me each step of the

[6:56] way. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[7:02] follow me all the days, all the days of

[7:07] my

[7:09] life. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[7:14] follow me all the days, all the days of

[7:19] my life. on that

[7:22] last. When I walk through the dark

[7:26] lonesome

[7:29] valley, my Savior will walk with me

[7:35] there. And safely his great hand will

[7:39] lead

[7:40] me to the mansions he's gone to

[7:46] prepare. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[7:51] follow me all the days, all the days of

[7:56] my

[7:57] [Music]

[7:59] life. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[8:04] follow me all the days, all the days of

[8:09] my life.

[8:12] And I shall dwell in the house of the

[8:16] Lord

[8:18] forever. And I shall feast at the table

[8:22] spread for

[8:26] me. Surely goodness and mercy shall

[8:31] follow me all the days, all the days of

[8:37] my life.

[8:41] And at this time, we'll have a time of

[8:43] prayer for our offering this evening.

[8:44] Um, Brother Brown, would you mind

[8:46] praying for our offering this evening?

[9:12] Amen. You may be seated.

[9:17] [Music]

[10:04] If you're able to, would you join us

[10:06] again as we stand together? If you're

[10:07] able to, as we turn to

[10:09] 220, song number

[10:12] 220, he leadeth me. Song number 220.

[10:16] We'll just sing those first three

[10:18] verses.

[10:22] He leadth me. Oh blessed thought. Oh

[10:28] words with heavenly comfort

[10:32] fraud. Whatever I do, where I be. Stilt

[10:39] is God's hand that leadth

[10:44] me. He leadth me. He leadeth me. By his

[10:51] own hand he leadth

[10:55] me. His faithful follower I would be.

[11:00] For by his hand he leadth me. On verse

[11:06] number two sometimes mid scenes of

[11:09] deepest gloom. Sometimes where Eden's

[11:12] boughowers bloom by water still over

[11:16] troubled sea. No matter whether it's in

[11:19] peace or in trouble, it's by God's hand

[11:22] and it's still his hand that leads us.

[11:26] And he said, even though we walk through

[11:28] the valley of the shadow of death, I

[11:30] will fear no evil, for thou art with me.

[11:33] So let's lift it up on verse number two

[11:34] of 2 and 20 this

[11:38] evening. Sometimes mid scenes of deepest

[11:43] gloom.

[11:44] Sometimes where Eden's bowers

[11:49] bloom, my water still or trbled

[11:55] see still t his hand that leadth

[12:01] me. He leadeth me. He leadeth me. By his

[12:08] own hand he leadth

[12:12] me. His faithful follower I would be.

[12:18] For by his hand he leadth

[12:24] me. Lord I would clasp my hand in mine

[12:30] nor ever murmur nor repine.

[12:37] content whatever lot I

[12:41] see since my God that leadth

[12:47] me. He leadeth me. He leadth me. By his

[12:54] own hand he leadth

[12:58] me. His faithful follower I would be.

[13:04] For by his hand he leadth

[13:10] me. Then join me if you would as we turn

[13:12] to

[13:15] 275. Song number

[13:19] 275. When peace like a river attendeth

[13:23] my way. Song number

[13:26] 275. It is well. It is well with my

[13:30] soul. 275.

[13:33] [Music]

[13:36] When peace like a

[13:40] river

[13:42] attendeth my

[13:45] way. When

[13:47] sorrows like sea billows

[13:52] roll.

[13:54] Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to

[14:00] say, it is well. It is well with my

[14:10] soul. It is

[14:15] well with my

[14:20] soul. It is well. It is well with my

[14:27] soul.

[14:31] Though

[14:32] Satan should buff it, though

[14:36] trial should

[14:38] come, let this blessed

[14:43] assure

[14:45] control that Christ have

[14:50] regarded my

[14:52] helpless

[14:54] estate, and hath shed his own blood for

[15:00] my

[15:02] [Music]

[15:04] soul. It is

[15:09] well with my

[15:14] soul. It is well. It is well with my

[15:21] soul.

[15:22] [Music]

[15:25] My sin, oh the bliss of his

[15:31] glorious

[15:33] thought. My sin not in part, but the

[15:40] whole is nailed to the cross. And I bear

[15:48] it no more. Praise the Lord. Praise the

[15:54] Lord, oh my

[15:57] [Music]

[15:59] soul. It is

[16:01] [Music]

[16:04] well with my

[16:08] [Music]

[16:09] soul. It is well. It is well with my

[16:17] soul. And Lord haste the day.

[16:21] And Lord haste the day when the faith

[16:27] shall be

[16:29] sight. The clouds be rolled back as a

[16:36] scroll. The trump shall

[16:40] resound and the Lord shall send.

[16:46] Even so. It is well with my

[16:53] [Music]

[16:56] soul. It is

[17:01] well with my

[17:03] [Music]

[17:06] soul. It is

[17:11] well. It is well.

[17:16] Well,

[17:18] with my

[17:25] soul, you may be seated. At this time,

[17:27] I'll have a special from the Franklin

[17:29] ladies this evening.

[18:00] [Music]

[18:26] follow me. I thought it might be in a

[18:32] plan to sail across the seas, but I

[18:37] didn't find what I really

[18:42] need. I found it all.

[18:47] And I

[18:48] lost everything and gave my

[18:53] life to serve a

[18:56] ris king. I found the

[19:00] truth that I'd been

[19:03] searching for. I found it all.

[19:08] When I found the

[19:09] [Music]

[19:11] Lord, I'm letting go of all my ways that

[19:16] I think are best for me. I'm laying down

[19:21] all my ideas of what I think my life

[19:25] should be. I'm laying everything I

[19:30] am right at Jesus feet. Lords, here I

[19:35] find what I really

[19:39] need. I found it

[19:42] all when I

[19:45] lost everything and gave my

[19:49] life to serve a

[19:52] rising king. I found the

[19:56] truth that I've been

[19:59] searching for. I found it all.

[20:04] When I found the

[20:06] Lord, I found the

[20:10] truth that I'd been

[20:12] searching for. I found it

[20:16] all. When I found the Lord,

[20:20] [Music]

[20:38] Aren't you thankful you know the Lord?

[20:41] We ought to be.

[20:44] Well, did you have a good afternoon? How

[20:46] many of you got a nap? How many of you

[20:48] did not get a

[20:50] nap? All right. Okay.

[20:54] The Bible tells us in John chapter 3

[20:56] verse number three, "Marvel not that I

[20:58] say unto thee, ye must be born again."

[21:02] We talked about it this

[21:04] morning. How many people does God want

[21:06] to be born again?

[21:08] All

[21:10] people. How'd you get born

[21:13] again? Well, if you're like me, somebody

[21:16] told

[21:18] you how to be born again.

[21:22] God's plan has been through the book of

[21:25] Matthew gives us what we call the great

[21:28] commission. Go ye into all the world and

[21:30] preach the gospel to every

[21:32] creature. That go ye is a command. And

[21:37] unfortunately for many Christians it

[21:39] becomes the great

[21:41] omission and not the great

[21:44] commission. There are a lot of reasons

[21:46] for that. One of the reasons that people

[21:49] struggle talking to people about the

[21:52] Lord is they don't know how

[21:55] to. So, tonight with the Lord's help,

[21:57] we're going to talk about how to do

[21:59] that. And we're going to have some

[22:00] practical elements, but also some

[22:02] helpful preaching

[22:04] truths because God wants all people to

[22:07] be saved and come unto the knowledge of

[22:10] the truth. So, you have your Bibles,

[22:11] turn to Romans chapter 3. Romans chapter

[22:16] 3. We're going to begin in verse number

[22:17] 10 of Romans chapter 3 and then we're

[22:20] also going to read Romans

[22:22] 3:23. We'll talk about them for a little

[22:25] bit. But if you're able to, would you

[22:27] please stand in honor of the word of God

[22:28] as we read from Romans chapter 3 verse

[22:31] number 10 and also verse number 23.

[22:36] The Bible says, "As it is

[22:40] written, there is

[22:43] none

[22:44] righteous, no not one." Skip down to

[22:50] verse number 23. For all have sinned and

[22:56] come short of the glory of God.

[23:01] God wants to save

[23:05] sinners, but he uses saved sinners to

[23:10] tell

[23:11] them. God wants to save sinners, but he

[23:15] uses saved sinners to tell them. Let's

[23:19] go, Lord, in prayer tonight. Heavenly

[23:20] Father, Lord, I thank you for the

[23:22] opportunity to preach and teach your

[23:24] word tonight.

[23:26] Lord, I pray if you would please cleanse

[23:28] me of sin and empty me of myself that I

[23:30] might get out of the way this evening

[23:32] and your word may go forth. Lord, I pray

[23:35] you'd help us tonight to pause and

[23:39] consider what you'd have for us tonight.

[23:42] Lord, in your name I pray. Amen. Thank

[23:44] you for standing. You may be

[23:48] seated. God

[23:50] wants all people to be saved. And God

[23:56] uses saved people to tell unsaved people

[24:01] how to be saved. One of the most

[24:03] exciting things in your life is when God

[24:07] uses you to lead somebody to Christ.

[24:11] It's a thrilling thing in your life when

[24:14] you have that opportunity.

[24:18] One of the key

[24:19] ingredients for talking to other people

[24:22] about the Lord is

[24:26] you. You have to be

[24:29] ready. The Bible tells us to be ready to

[24:31] give an answer to any man for the hope

[24:33] which lith within us. So you got to be

[24:36] ready. One of the easiest practical

[24:39] tools to be ready is to have gospel

[24:43] tracks with

[24:45] you. If you don't have them with you,

[24:48] you can't use

[24:50] them. Now, on the back of all of our

[24:52] tracks, this is one of our invite cards.

[24:55] It's got church information on the

[24:56] front. On the back, it has a plan of

[24:59] salvation. Whether you got three seconds

[25:02] or 30 minutes, if you've got a gospel

[25:05] track, you can give

[25:07] someone the word of God. But if you

[25:11] don't have it, you can't pass it out.

[25:16] It it'd be

[25:18] like having someone break into your

[25:22] house and you have a

[25:25] gun, but you got no

[25:31] bullets. You could throw it at

[25:37] him and that could be a life and death

[25:40] situation for you.

[25:43] Can you imagine if the Holy Spirit

[25:45] prompted you to give a track to someone

[25:48] and you had 30 seconds of interaction

[25:50] with them, but because you didn't have

[25:53] one, you couldn't give

[25:56] one. And that soul goes out and you

[25:58] never see them

[26:00] again. You got to be ready. One guy used

[26:03] to say, "I had bullets for my gospel

[26:05] gun." Said, "I was ready to give them

[26:07] out at any time." Are you ready? One of

[26:11] the key ingredients we want people to be

[26:13] saved. The word of God does not return

[26:16] void. Our plan of salvation has the word

[26:19] of God on

[26:21] it. So it's not in vain when you pass

[26:25] one of these

[26:26] out. The key ingredient, as I said, one

[26:28] of the key ingredients is you being

[26:31] ready. The second is you being

[26:36] spiritled, being sensitive to God's

[26:39] leadership in your

[26:41] life. It is easier to talk to people at

[26:46] a door on visitation and bring up

[26:49] salvation than it is sitting at the

[26:51] lunch table at

[26:54] work. So you you got to be sensitive to

[26:57] the leadership of the Holy

[26:59] Spirit. So being sensitive to the

[27:02] leadership of the Holy Spirit. And

[27:04] number three, building relationships

[27:06] with

[27:08] people, especially with your

[27:11] co-workers. If people know that you

[27:15] care, they'll care what you

[27:19] know. If people know that you care,

[27:23] they'll care what you know. They'll

[27:25] begin to see it evident in your life.

[27:27] Something's different about you.

[27:29] And that opportunity to talk about the

[27:31] Lord will naturally come

[27:34] up if you're building

[27:37] relationships. Now, if you go and you

[27:39] eat in your corner and you don't talk to

[27:42] anybody, you're missing out on

[27:44] opportunities to talk to people about

[27:46] the Lord. So, are you ready? You have

[27:50] gospel tracks with you. Are you

[27:52] sensitive to the leadership of the Holy

[27:54] Spirit? Are you making relationships to

[27:58] talk about the

[28:00] Lord? It can be difficult at times to

[28:04] transfer

[28:06] conversations from work conversation to

[28:12] eternal

[28:13] conversations. But when God's inside

[28:17] you, Acts chapter one talks about us

[28:20] having power.

[28:22] But you have received power after that

[28:24] the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you

[28:27] shall be witnesses unto me. So God gives

[28:30] you the power and he gives you the words

[28:33] to

[28:35] say. One of the tools we talked about is

[28:38] having a gospel track. There's lots of

[28:41] other things you can use. Uh one of the

[28:44] things that I have that's in my desk is

[28:46] called the Evangelic Cube.

[28:48] You take this cube and you can go

[28:50] through the whole plan of salvation with

[28:52] them. The resurrection of Jesus Christ.

[28:55] How he made a way for them to go to

[28:57] heaven. How we don't have to spend

[28:59] eternity in hell. God made a way for us

[29:01] to go to heaven. You can talk about

[29:02] accepting Christ into their heart.

[29:05] There's little tools. I can show you

[29:07] after service how you can take a piece

[29:09] of paper and a pair of scissors and

[29:11] share the gospel with someone.

[29:16] We are

[29:17] not for lack of

[29:20] resources hindered in sharing the

[29:24] gospel. We are in lack of vessels who

[29:29] are willing to share the gospel.

[29:33] So once you recognize you're a key

[29:37] ingredient, being ready, being sensitive

[29:39] to the Holy Spirit, having relationships

[29:43] with people, one of the other key

[29:46] ingredients is knowing how to tell

[29:49] somebody how to be

[29:52] saved. One of the easiest tools in

[29:55] scripture is what we like to call the

[29:58] Romans

[29:59] road. It's a pathway that leads a person

[30:03] down the road of

[30:04] salvation and starts with Romans 3:10.

[30:08] I'd encourage you not only to be ready

[30:10] with gospel tracks. I'd encourage you to

[30:12] get a New

[30:14] Testament. This one here, I I have one

[30:17] like this as well. This is a classic

[30:19] Soul Winners New Testament. It's nice.

[30:22] It's kind of hard if you got your big

[30:24] Bible all the time to have it with you

[30:26] and easily accessible. But if you got a

[30:29] New Testament, you can have that. Inside

[30:32] this New Testament, we keep the ribbon

[30:34] in Romans chapter 3 and we have the

[30:36] verses

[30:38] highlighted. So we start in Romans 3:10.

[30:42] As it is written, there is none

[30:44] righteous, know not one.

[30:48] And then right after 3:10, we have a

[30:51] little number 3 colon

[30:55] 23. Why? Because if you've ever tried to

[30:57] talk to people out about Jesus, you get

[31:00] brain dead all of a sudden. You're like,

[31:02] I know it's in here, but I can't

[31:04] remember where it's at. And so if you

[31:06] write the verse reference that you're

[31:08] going to next, right after it, it helps

[31:11] you to know where to go next. So Romans

[31:14] 3:10, we read it earlier. As it is

[31:16] written, there is none righteous, know

[31:20] not one. In verse 23, for all have

[31:24] sinned and come short of the glory of

[31:29] God. Every person is a

[31:31] sinner and every person falls short of

[31:35] the glory of God. So there's not a

[31:38] single person that's good enough to get

[31:41] to heaven. Not a one.

[31:44] All people are sinners. Now, I like to

[31:47] use the Ten

[31:49] Commandments to show people that they

[31:52] are

[31:53] sinners. So, I asked him, "Have you,

[31:56] just out of curiosity, have you ever

[31:58] told a lie

[32:00] before?" Well, yeah, everybody lies.

[32:02] Yep. You're a

[32:04] liar. That's not very nice to say. It's

[32:06] not, but that's what the Bible

[32:09] says. Uh, and you just go through the

[32:12] Ten Commandments.

[32:14] You ever stolen something

[32:17] before? Have Have you ever lusted in

[32:20] your heart

[32:22] before? Have you ever hated

[32:25] somebody? And you walk through those ten

[32:28] commandments and you realize if they've

[32:31] hated somebody, God calls it

[32:34] murder. If you get them to say yes to

[32:37] those four, you have a lying, thieving,

[32:39] murderous adulterer at heart.

[32:43] And God says they're not good enough to

[32:46] get into

[32:47] heaven. But after verse 23 of Romans

[32:51] chapter

[32:52] 3, you should write in your Bible

[32:56] chapter 5 verse

[32:59] 8. Now some people like to go to chapter

[33:02] 6 verse 23 and you can go there but I

[33:07] like to go to Romans 5'8. So after 3:23,

[33:11] you go to Romans

[33:13] 5:8. Again, in this New Testament that

[33:16] we use, we got it highlighted in there.

[33:18] We've got the reference number after it.

[33:20] Verse eight of Romans 5. But God

[33:23] commendeth his love toward us, and that

[33:26] while we were yet sinners, Christ died

[33:30] for us. So we share with them the love

[33:34] that Christ has for them. You can't lead

[33:37] somebody to Christ if you can't get them

[33:40] lost

[33:41] first. You got to help them understand

[33:44] there's a need for a savior, that

[33:45] they're lost in their condition. For all

[33:48] have sinned and come short of the glory

[33:51] of God. Whether it's one sin they've

[33:54] committed or one million sins, they're

[33:57] short of the glory of God.

[34:00] So we go to Romans 5:8 and we talk about

[34:03] God commending his love toward them. And

[34:07] while they were yet sinners, Christ died

[34:09] for us. I love to remind people, he died

[34:14] for you on your worst sinful

[34:18] day. The day that you've lived your life

[34:21] so far, you say, "I was really bad that

[34:23] day."

[34:26] And without going into details, people

[34:28] can figure out in their head when that

[34:30] day

[34:34] was. And you say because of

[34:37] that, we have to go to Romans chapter 6

[34:40] and verse

[34:42] 23. In Romans 6:23, the

[34:46] wages of

[34:48] sin

[34:49] is

[34:51] death. That's not the end of the verse.

[34:54] But the gift of God is eternal life

[34:57] through Jesus Christ our Lord. So after

[35:01] we've got them lost and after we get

[35:03] them realizing that God loved them and

[35:05] God died for

[35:06] them, we help them understand that

[35:09] there's a penalty for

[35:11] sinners and it's death, eternal

[35:13] separation from God in the place called

[35:15] hell.

[35:17] But there's a gift and it's a gift is

[35:22] free and salvation is free to

[35:25] everyone. You can't earn it. You can't

[35:27] buy it. It's a free

[35:31] gift. Now, a free gift is only your gift

[35:34] if you receive it.

[35:38] So, if I told you I had a gift for

[35:41] you and it was the keys to a new Hummer

[35:45] sitting out in the parking

[35:46] lot and all you had to do was take the

[35:51] keys and it was

[35:53] yours, that would be a gift. Now, if I

[35:56] said to you, I got a gift for you, but

[35:59] if you pay me

[36:01] $45,000, then I'll give you the gift

[36:04] that's in the parking lot. Well, that

[36:06] wouldn't be a

[36:07] gift, would

[36:09] it? That'd be a transaction that you

[36:12] purchase something. That wouldn't be a

[36:14] gift. If I said, "I've got this gift out

[36:18] here in the parking lot, but you got to

[36:19] do this and you got to do this and you

[36:21] got to do this in order to get the

[36:24] gift." Then that wouldn't be a

[36:27] gift. That'd be something you

[36:30] earned. Salvation is a free gift.

[36:34] So, if it's a free gift, how do we get

[36:37] it? Well, since you brought it up, go to

[36:38] chapter 10, verse number

[36:41] nine. Chapter 10, verse number nine of

[36:52] Romans. Now, you could go to Romans 5:12

[36:55] if you wanted to, but I like to go to

[36:57] Romans 10:9.

[37:00] that if thou shalt confess with thy

[37:02] mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe

[37:04] in thine heart that God hath raised him

[37:06] from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For

[37:10] with the heart man believeth under

[37:12] righteousness, and with the mouth

[37:14] confession is made unto

[37:16] salvation. Then I continue down, for the

[37:18] scripture saith, whosoever believeth on

[37:20] him shall not be ashamed. For there's no

[37:23] difference between the Jew and the

[37:24] Greek, for the same Lord overall is rich

[37:27] unto all that call upon him. For

[37:29] whosoever shall call upon the name of

[37:31] the Lord shall be

[37:33] saved. Verse 14, how then shall they

[37:35] call on him in whom they have not what?

[37:38] Believed. And how shall they believe on

[37:41] him on whom they have not heard? And how

[37:43] shall they hear without a preacher? So

[37:46] we bring them to the point of

[37:48] recognizing that they got to

[37:50] believe. You got to believe that Jesus

[37:53] died for them.

[37:56] They got to believe that he was buried

[37:58] and that he rose again. They believe it

[38:00] in their heart. And because they believe

[38:02] it, they make confession. They pray and

[38:05] ask the Lord to save

[38:07] them. That confession comes because they

[38:10] believe

[38:11] it. See, belief is a key ingredient

[38:14] here. If you just have

[38:17] confession and no belief, you just have

[38:21] a recitation of a prayer. And there are

[38:24] a lot of people who have

[38:26] practiced that version of

[38:30] soulwinning. You want to be saved? Yeah.

[38:34] Pray this prayer. Okay. They prayed the

[38:38] prayer. They didn't know what they were

[38:40] praying. They didn't know why they were

[38:42] praying. They didn't know that they're

[38:43] lost. You know what happens? They grow

[38:45] on in their life and they're basing

[38:47] their Christianity salvation on a prayer

[38:50] that they

[38:52] prayed, not in a savior who saved

[38:55] them. So you got to be careful if you're

[38:58] emphasizing, well, just pray. We got to

[39:03] believe because anybody can say

[39:07] words. I was out with a guy one time and

[39:11] he said, "You want to go to heaven?"

[39:13] "Yeah, I want to go to heaven." Here,

[39:14] shake my hand. I'm gonna pray for you

[39:16] right

[39:17] now. All right, you're going to heaven

[39:19] now. And he went down and talk to

[39:21] somebody

[39:22] else.

[39:24] Like,

[39:26] no, that's not how it

[39:31] works. By the end of the day, he came

[39:34] back. He said, you know, we led 25

[39:36] people to the Lord today. No, we didn't

[39:39] have the zero.

[39:42] but he shook the hands and he prayed for

[39:44] 25

[39:46] people. And if you're basing your

[39:48] salvation on a prayer that you

[39:50] prayed, that's not how you're saved.

[39:53] It's belief in your heart. The

[39:55] confession comes after the believing.

[39:58] You've got to believe

[40:00] first. So we find here in Romans 10 that

[40:04] it tells them they how shall they call

[40:06] on him in whom they have not heard. How

[40:08] shall they believe unless they believe?

[40:10] So we got to get them to the point of

[40:14] believing. So it's their

[40:17] choice. They've got to choose to

[40:21] believe. So we go to Romans 10:9 and 10.

[40:24] We go to Romans

[40:27] 10:13. And for whosoever God will save

[40:30] anyone who believes

[40:34] confesses. And I love to go from there

[40:36] to first John 5 and verse 12.

[40:41] First John chapter 5 and verse

[40:45] 12 which talks about these things have I

[40:47] written in you that you may know that

[40:49] you have eternal

[40:52] life because we don't believe in a hope

[40:55] so think so maybe so salvation we

[40:59] believe the Bible clearly teaches that

[41:01] you can know that you have eternal

[41:04] life so after you work this through to

[41:08] the person this is the key

[41:09] ingredient. Make sure the Holy Spirit's

[41:12] still leading

[41:13] you and you're not just going through

[41:16] the motions to go through the

[41:18] motions. And then ask the person if they

[41:22] believe and they would like to accept

[41:24] Christ as their savior. There is no

[41:28] special prayer that gets you into

[41:32] heaven. You got to say these words in

[41:34] this order in order to get there. That's

[41:37] not what the Bible

[41:40] teaches. But if they believe that Jesus

[41:42] Christ died for them, was buried for

[41:43] them, and he rose again the third day,

[41:45] they're going to

[41:46] understand what they need to say.

[41:48] They'll say it in their own

[41:50] words. Now, you can help direct them. At

[41:54] the end of the day, they need to

[41:56] understand it

[41:59] themselves.

[42:02] Now, you get saved.

[42:06] What happens

[42:07] next? You start sinning

[42:12] again. You're still a sinner, but now

[42:15] you're a saved sinner. And then you have

[42:18] people say, "Well, I messed it up. I

[42:21] didn't do it

[42:22] right because I'm still a

[42:25] sinner." We ought to remind folks that

[42:29] they didn't do the

[42:32] saving. God did the saving.

[42:36] So we asked them this question. Do you

[42:39] believe that God's word is

[42:42] true? They'll say amen and say yes. Do

[42:45] you believe that God would

[42:47] lie? No. So if God says, "For with the

[42:52] heart man believeth under righteousness,

[42:54] and with the mouth confession is made

[42:56] unto salvation, and whosoever shall call

[42:58] upon the name of the Lord shall be

[42:59] saved." You say, "Did you believe?" Yes.

[43:03] Did you confess? Yes. Then what did God

[43:07] say you

[43:09] are?

[43:12] Say it's called having eternal

[43:16] security dealing with doubts. But they

[43:19] still struggle with sin. So we take them

[43:21] to first John chapter 1 and verse number

[43:27] nine. First John chapter 1 verse number

[43:30] nine.

[43:33] says, "If we confess our sins, he is

[43:38] faithful and just to forgive us our sins

[43:41] and to cleanse us from all

[43:43] unrighteousness." Now, those that were

[43:45] in disciplehip class this morning, this

[43:49] is a passage that we get to apply the

[43:51] four rules of

[43:53] interpretation. Who is he speaking to?

[43:56] And we find out he's speaking to

[43:58] Christians, saved people.

[44:01] Why would save people need to confess

[44:05] sin? Because they still

[44:07] sin. They need to get their relationship

[44:11] right. They don't lose their position in

[44:15] Christ, but their relationship is

[44:18] affected. So, we go to First John

[44:22] 1:9. Well, I've been saved. Now, I like

[44:25] to remind people, you've been saved

[44:28] three weeks. Yeah, I've been saved three

[44:29] weeks and I'm really struggling with my

[44:32] sins still.

[44:33] Okay. How old are you? They say I'm

[44:37] 23. So for 20

[44:39] years you didn't have God in your life.

[44:43] For 20 years you did whatever you wanted

[44:46] to do with your sin nature and then

[44:49] you've only had three

[44:51] weeks to do it

[44:54] differently. So this is what I tell

[44:56] them. You need to do what David did in

[44:59] Psalm 139. Search me, oh God, and know

[45:02] my heart. Try me and know my thoughts

[45:04] and see if there be any wicked way in

[45:09] me. Search asking God to search your

[45:12] heart if there's sin in your life. And

[45:16] first John

[45:17] 1:9, confessing that sin when he reveals

[45:20] it to you, ought to be part of every

[45:23] believer's daily life.

[45:27] We daily ought to ask God to search us

[45:29] and show us. And then if he does, we

[45:32] ought to confess it and get it right and

[45:35] ask him to forgive us. You know what'll

[45:38] happen if you practice that

[45:40] regularly? You will start to recognize

[45:43] where your struggles are at, where your

[45:46] temptations are at, where you keep

[45:48] getting into trouble with sin at. And

[45:51] then you ask God to help you avoid those

[45:57] temptations. And so practicing search

[45:59] me, oh God, and know my heart and

[46:02] confessing our sins daily helps us to be

[46:06] in a position to be led by the spirit.

[46:10] So, you run into

[46:11] people and you've practiced, you you've

[46:15] got your verses, you got your New

[46:16] Testament, you've got your verses marked

[46:19] and and you're ready to talk to somebody

[46:21] and then they ask a question that you

[46:23] don't know the answer

[46:24] to. What do you do? Well, here's a

[46:27] couple things to remind yourself of.

[46:29] Number one, Satan is the author of

[46:33] confusion.

[46:35] So, Satan will love to distract

[46:38] you from sharing the gospel with them.

[46:41] One technique you can use is that's a

[46:44] good question. Once we get done with

[46:46] this, I'll get back to that and you can

[46:49] talk to them about that later, but let's

[46:51] continue on because there's that

[46:53] distraction tactic. So, you get them

[46:56] refocused back on the plan of salvation

[46:59] and the gospel.

[47:01] If you don't know the answer, say that's

[47:04] a good question. I don't know. And then

[47:06] you say, "Let me phone a friend." And

[47:08] then you call the preacher and the

[47:09] preacher says, "I don't know the answer

[47:11] to that question." Or maybe I can help

[47:13] you to the answer to that question.

[47:15] Whatever the question is, I don't know.

[47:17] Usually I tell people if I don't know

[47:19] the answer, I don't know the answer, but

[47:21] I will try to find it and get back to

[47:23] you. So you have that opportunity that

[47:26] you can say, "I don't know the answer

[47:28] this time, but I'll try to get it and

[47:29] get back to you.

[47:31] but try to keep them focused. And so you

[47:34] have people who say, "Well, I'm

[47:38] Catholic." And they think that's a

[47:41] blanket

[47:42] answer. I'm Catholic. Well, there's two

[47:45] verses we ought to bring to their

[47:47] attention if that's their response.

[47:50] Well, I'm Catholic. John chapter

[47:52] 3:3. We talked about it this morning.

[47:55] Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye

[47:57] must be born

[48:01] again. You got to get them lost. They

[48:04] got to be saved. They got to be born

[48:05] again. Then I also love to take them to

[48:08] 1 Timothy chapter 2 and verse number

[48:12] five. 1 Timothy 2 5. For there is one

[48:18] God and one mediator between God and

[48:22] men, the man Christ

[48:24] Jesus. Why is that verse so important

[48:28] for dealing with those that are

[48:29] Catholic? It's because they go to the

[48:32] priest for

[48:33] forgiveness. The priest is their

[48:35] mediator between them and God. The Bible

[48:38] says, "No, there's only one mediator

[48:42] between God and man. It's the man Christ

[48:45] Jesus.

[48:47] So the priest has no power to forgive

[48:52] sins. So we take him to John 3:3, 1

[48:56] Timothy 2:5, also John 14:6. Jesus saith

[49:00] unto them, I am the way, the truth, and

[49:02] the life. No man cometh unto the father

[49:05] but by

[49:07] me. So when you deal with folks that are

[49:09] involved in Catholicism, you can use

[49:12] some of those references.

[49:14] You can have those who say, "Well, it

[49:16] all ends when you get put in the

[49:18] ground." When you get put in the ground,

[49:21] life is all over. I love to take them to

[49:24] Hebrews

[49:26] 9:27. Hebrews 9:27, it's appointed unto

[49:29] man once to die and after that the

[49:34] judgment. So, there's after

[49:38] that. Well, when you die, they put you

[49:40] to the ground. Well, what's after that?

[49:44] Oh no. Well, there is an after

[49:47] that. Well, some people say, "Well, I'll

[49:50] just go to hell." Well, what after

[49:52] that?

[49:54] Huh? Because there is a judgment and get

[49:57] them to that point. So, I also like Luke

[50:00] 16 verses 19- 24 which is the rich man

[50:03] and Lazarus passage and also Revelation

[50:07] 20 11-15.

[50:12] 20

[50:18] 11-15. If it's someone who's involved in

[50:22] being a Jehovah Witness or a Mormon and

[50:25] they believe in a worksbased salvation,

[50:28] we go to Ephesians 28 and

[50:31] N. For by grace are you saved through

[50:34] faith, and that not of yourselves, it is

[50:35] a gift of God, not of works, lest any

[50:39] man should boast. or you talk to someone

[50:41] who is trying to earn their way to

[50:44] heaven. Ephesians 2:8

[50:47] and9 baptism is a

[50:50] work. Being a good person is a

[50:53] work. Being my I want my good to

[50:56] outweigh my bad is a work. There's only

[51:00] one way is you got to be born again. Got

[51:03] to put your faith in Jesus Christ. got

[51:06] to believe that he died and was buried

[51:07] and rose again the third day according

[51:08] to scriptures for

[51:11] you. So once you know and you got a plan

[51:14] and you deal with the questions that

[51:16] come up and there'll always be

[51:19] questions. You have people that will say

[51:22] that they're not

[51:24] ready. It's not they're not

[51:26] ready. You know he he offers salvation

[51:30] to everyone.

[51:32] You could go to uh those that question

[51:36] whether there's a heaven or a hell. You

[51:38] can deal with those people as well. Be

[51:41] will deal have people that it's there

[51:43] just too much for them, you know, but

[51:46] God has clearly said in his word how

[51:50] people need to be

[51:52] saved. Now, people will push it off,

[51:56] push it off, and push it off. But God

[51:59] desires for all men to be saved. And

[52:02] today is the day of salvation. Don't

[52:04] push it

[52:07] off. One way in the conversation at work

[52:10] is when the Holy Spirit leads you, bring

[52:12] up what you were

[52:14] before and what you are now and what

[52:18] you're looking forward to in the

[52:20] future. That all centers around the

[52:23] moment you accepted Christ as your

[52:25] savior. I once was this but now I'm this

[52:29] because of Jesus and because of Jesus I

[52:32] get to look forward to this. What about

[52:35] you? Now I simplified

[52:38] that. But that is that

[52:42] conversation say I was once this but

[52:45] then I met Jesus who changed my life and

[52:49] because of that I get to look forward to

[52:51] this.

[52:53] Can I ask

[52:54] you what about

[52:57] you? What's going to happen to you after

[53:00] you die? Because we only have one

[53:03] life. So bringing up that

[53:07] conversation, practice telling your

[53:11] testimony. Practice

[53:14] it. That way you can tell it

[53:18] clearly. You can share it with people.

[53:21] Whether you have just a minute or

[53:23] whether you got 30 minutes, practice an

[53:26] abbreviated version of your

[53:30] testimony. I grew up in a religious

[53:32] home. My dad was a pastor. But you know,

[53:35] there came a point in my life that I

[53:37] realized I wasn't good enough to get to

[53:39] heaven. And as a little boy, I accepted

[53:42] Jesus Christ as my savior because I

[53:44] believe that Jesus died on the cross and

[53:47] he was buried and rose again the third

[53:48] day.

[53:50] gave me opportunity to be saved. So, as

[53:53] a seven-year-old boy, I got saved. It

[53:55] changed my life and now I have a home in

[53:58] heaven. So, when I die, I'm going to go

[54:00] to heaven. How about

[54:03] you? How about

[54:05] you? Be careful trying to speak

[54:11] Christianes. When you try to use words

[54:13] that are Christian words, they may not

[54:16] always understand it.

[54:20] So the gospel is simple. So keep it

[54:24] simple. Don't mess it

[54:27] up. God's clear. It's not that hard to

[54:31] do. So bring it up in

[54:34] conversation. Talk about the Lord, being

[54:36] ready, having gospel tracks to hand out,

[54:40] taking opportunities.

[54:43] One of the things that was amazing when

[54:44] I first came here uh there was a man who

[54:47] used to attend this church who was

[54:49] having brain

[54:50] surgery. So I went uh he had left the

[54:54] church but uh he was planning on

[54:56] attending a new church plant that was

[54:58] starting but they hadn't started yet.

[55:01] And so I went and brother Wayne

[55:03] Albbright said, "Preacher, why don't you

[55:05] go with him? We're gonna go pray with

[55:06] this guy before he has brain surgery."

[55:08] Okay. So we go. We get into the waiting

[55:11] room where I get introduced as our new

[55:14] preacher. Hello. How are you? Get to

[55:16] talk to

[55:18] them. The whole family's there and they

[55:20] had a big

[55:23] family. All of a sudden, Brother Wayne

[55:25] looks at me and said, "Preacher, you

[55:26] want to pray?" "All right, let's pray."

[55:29] Then, Brother Wayne says, "All right,

[55:30] everybody hold hands." Everybody in the

[55:32] waiting room stopped. There's about 30

[55:35] people in the waiting room. Everybody

[55:36] gets quiet. So now you've asked the

[55:38] Baptist preacher to

[55:40] pray in a group. You know what you can

[55:44] do a lot when you pray for people? You

[55:46] can pray for their need, but you can

[55:48] also what I like to call preach pray.

[55:51] Lord, I'm thankful that you came and

[55:53] died on the cross to save sinners. And

[55:56] I'm thankful that every person that's a

[55:59] sinner, you want to be saved. And I'm

[56:01] thankful that you made a way for us to

[56:04] be saved. And all we have to do is

[56:07] recognize that we're a sinner. And you

[56:08] can pray the whole plan of

[56:11] salvation. So the next time look at you

[56:13] and they say, "Hey, you want to pray for

[56:14] lunch today?" Absolutely. Let's

[56:17] pray. You can pray the whole plan of

[56:22] salvation. Now, don't pray all the

[56:25] verses. Lord, I'm thankful for Romans

[56:28] chapter 3:10. For as it is written,

[56:30] there's none righteous, know not one.

[56:31] And we know in verse 23, you don't have

[56:33] to pray it that

[56:35] way, but you can share the gospel very

[56:39] quickly. One of the best tools is use

[56:41] the gospel tracks. We've got different

[56:43] ones out there. We've got invite cards.

[56:45] There's gospel tracks out there. There's

[56:47] Spanish tracks out

[56:49] there. But the problem is not that the

[56:51] gospel is

[56:53] weak. The problem is not that it's too

[56:56] hard and that people are too hard. God

[56:59] is still in the business of saving

[57:01] sinners. He just needs saved sinners to

[57:05] tell others

[57:07] about. So if you get a New Testament,

[57:09] that's a good tool to have. You can put

[57:11] it in your car. You can have it with

[57:12] you. You share the gospel at any time.

[57:15] You have an app on your phone. You can

[57:17] do that. I like to have a New Testament

[57:19] say, "Well, I'm going to just memorize

[57:20] all the verses." You can do that. But

[57:23] it's good for people to be able to see

[57:25] it so they know that you're just not

[57:28] making it

[57:29] up. So, one of the things that happened

[57:32] to me in Bible college, we had a class

[57:34] called personal

[57:36] evangelism. And in that class, we had to

[57:38] do a project where we had to present the

[57:41] gospel to someone in front of the entire

[57:46] class. So, I had an early class that

[57:49] morning as a junior. I had a Greek class

[57:52] at 7:15 in the morning. It was not

[57:56] right. I can barely do English at 7:15

[57:59] in the morning, let alone

[58:01] Greek. Got out of that class, went to my

[58:04] personal evangelism class, and my fiance

[58:07] at the time says, "Uh, the person you're

[58:10] supposed to do the assignment

[58:14] with, she's got strep throat and she

[58:18] can't talk."

[58:20] Oh,

[58:22] wonderful. And if you didn't do the

[58:24] project on the day it was assigned to

[58:26] you, you got 10% taken off your grade

[58:28] every

[58:31] day. So I came to class, she came to

[58:34] class. I had her sit in a chair. I said,

[58:36] "Pretend you're at the

[58:38] hospital." So I came up on the platform

[58:41] and I pretended that she was in the

[58:43] hospital. She had had a tracheotomy and

[58:46] she could not talk at all. And I did all

[58:48] of the presentation all by

[58:51] myself. And then I said, "Since you

[58:54] can't

[58:55] talk, nod your head if you

[58:59] understand." We went through the whole

[59:00] plan of salvation that

[59:03] way. You know, there's no

[59:07] excuse why we can't share the

[59:11] gospel. God's just looking for people.

[59:14] So, be ready. Be

[59:17] spiritledd. Have your tracks. Be

[59:21] ready. Build those relationships to have

[59:23] that opportunity. Have the plan of

[59:26] salvation. Number three key ingredient

[59:29] in sharing the gospel with people is to

[59:32] be a person of

[59:35] prayer. Every day before you leave your

[59:38] house, I'd encourage you to pray, "Lord,

[59:42] let me share the gospel with somebody

[59:45] today.

[59:46] We sing the hymn lead me to some soul

[59:52] today. There are people lost and dying

[59:54] all around

[59:55] us. Pray Lord give me opportunity

[60:00] today. I tell you it's

[60:02] amazing when you pray that and then God

[60:06] lets you experience that. It's

[60:10] amazing. whether you just handed out a

[60:12] track to

[60:15] someone. I was on my way to Indiana or I

[60:20] was coming back one day. We're in

[60:23] Indiana and a guy texted me and said,

[60:27] "Hey, look what I found at this car part

[60:32] store and sent a picture of one of our

[60:35] church tracks on the table there."

[60:39] And then he texted, "It was here before

[60:42] I got

[60:43] here." So before he got there, somebody

[60:46] else from our church had come and left

[60:48] the gospel track right there on the

[60:51] table. About a year and a half ago, we

[60:54] had a lady drive 45

[60:56] minutes and came to a church

[60:59] service. On the way out the

[61:02] door, she said, "I'd been

[61:05] praying. We live 45 minutes away. We've

[61:08] been praying for a

[61:09] church, an opportunity, and

[61:13] looking and in a donut

[61:17] shop. She wasn't even in her town. She

[61:20] was in Guthrie,

[61:22] Oklahoma. In a doughnut shop in Guthrie,

[61:25] Oklahoma, as she's been praying for a

[61:28] church to for someone just to invite

[61:30] her, she was kind of complaining to God,

[61:32] "Nobody invites me." was one of our

[61:34] church tracks that says, "This is your

[61:37] invitation." When she brought it to me,

[61:39] it was three years

[61:42] old. I don't know how it got in Guthrie

[61:44] at the donut

[61:45] shop, but she came to church because

[61:50] of you never know the impact the word of

[61:54] God would make. You never know what

[61:57] handing someone a track will do. I can

[62:00] tell you story after story, opportunity

[62:02] after opportunity of sharing the gospel

[62:04] with

[62:07] people. The most wonderful thing is to

[62:09] be used by God to lead somebody to

[62:13] Christ. I'd encourage every

[62:16] believer to have the opportunity to be

[62:20] used by God to lead someone to

[62:23] Christ. Our watch night service, we

[62:25] heard testimony from one of our young

[62:27] ladies just a few weeks previous she had

[62:29] had an opportunity to lead somebody to

[62:31] Christ. So encouraging to her. Couple

[62:35] weeks ago, my son came busting out of

[62:39] the hallway so excited because he had an

[62:42] opportunity to lead one of the bus

[62:44] riders to the

[62:47] Lord. He's excited because it was his

[62:49] first one that he got to

[62:52] do. I don't think it's going to be the

[62:54] last one.

[62:58] But having an opportunity, being

[63:01] ready, being sensitive to leadership of

[63:03] the Holy

[63:06] Spirit, be used by God to point other

[63:09] people to

[63:12] Christ. If you're not

[63:14] ready, you don't have gospel tracks with

[63:18] you, put them in your car, put them,

[63:20] ladies, put them in your

[63:22] purse. Just make it part of your

[63:24] routine. Put your keys in your pocket.

[63:25] Put some tracks in your pocket. You

[63:28] go. Just make it part of your

[63:31] routine. I like them. I I stick them in

[63:33] the gas

[63:35] pump. I give them to the people at the

[63:38] window when I go through a restaurant. I

[63:40] leave it with the tip. By the way, you

[63:42] leave it with the tip. Not just leave

[63:44] it. You leave it with the tip. You tip a

[63:48] waiter or

[63:49] waitress sharing the gospel with

[63:54] people. People need the

[63:59] Lord. So have the plan. Lay it out

[64:02] before

[64:03] you. Mark it out. Romans 3:10, Romans

[64:06] 3:23, Romans 5'8, Romans 6:23, Romans

[64:10] 10:9 and 10, Romans 10:13 and

[64:13] 14, 1 John 5:13. Lay it all out. Have it

[64:18] marked. Know where you're going to go.

[64:21] Be ready to share the gospel. Whether

[64:25] you use something like an evangelic

[64:27] cube or after service if you want. I'll

[64:30] show you how you can do it with a piece

[64:31] of paper and a pair of

[64:34] scissors. But God wants all of

[64:37] us to share the

[64:41] gospel. God's still in the saving

[64:43] business in 2025.

[64:46] He's just looking for saved people to

[64:49] share the gospel. So have the plan, be

[64:53] ready, and look for the opportunity to

[64:57] share the

[64:59] gospel. The book of John, I believe it's

[65:01] the fourth

[65:02] chapter, Jesus sees the

[65:06] multitude. And seeing the multitude, he

[65:08] is moved with compassion.

[65:19] He sees them not just as

[65:22] people but as souls in need of the

[65:28] savior. What about

[65:31] you? What do you see when you

[65:34] see what you

[65:36] see? Are you moved?

[65:41] to move you enough to share the gospel

[65:43] with

[65:44] them. Now, some of you have been working

[65:46] at the same place for quite a while. You

[65:49] had opportunities to ask your

[65:51] co-workers where they'll spend eternity.

[65:54] Well, preacher, it's kind of it's kind

[65:56] of taboo where I work at. I

[65:59] understand. But if you're clocking out

[66:01] at the same time and you're walking out

[66:02] of work, you have an

[66:06] opportunity. You get there before early

[66:09] talk.

[66:11] Some of you are in a job situation where

[66:13] they'll give you the time to do that.

[66:15] Talk to them about the

[66:17] Lord. Went to the dentist office this

[66:20] past

[66:21] week. A lady at the desk. She had her

[66:23] Bible out said, "Reading anything good?"

[66:26] She says, "Yeah, I'm reading

[66:27] Philippians." That's a good book.

[66:30] Encouraging

[66:32] book. So looking for

[66:35] opportunities. Eyes open, heart

[66:38] receptive to leadership of the Holy

[66:40] Spirit and God will bring

[66:44] souls. You may never know when they're

[66:47] going to come, but he'll

[66:51] always desire for you and I to share the

[66:54] gospel. So, let me encourage you

[66:56] tonight. Do you have a burden for

[67:01] souls? I hope you do.

[67:05] If not, ask God to give you a burden in

[67:11] 2025. You can come out on Saturdays, go

[67:13] out on visitation with 10

[67:15] o'clock. You can share the gospel. We we

[67:18] have an app we use called swap

[67:21] swap. You can log into the church's

[67:24] profile. It's got streets that you can

[67:26] go at any time and pass out gospel

[67:28] tracks on. You just check in on that

[67:30] street. It marks it on the general map

[67:32] for us. You can use that.

[67:34] You can make notes in there. You come

[67:36] across somebody say, "Well, they didn't

[67:38] get saved, but they want to talk to

[67:40] somebody." And you send a note in there.

[67:42] We can send somebody back by to see

[67:45] them. There's opportunities all around

[67:50] us. People need the

[67:54] Lord. Jesus is coming

[67:58] soon. Are you ready? Is your family

[68:01] ready?

[68:03] Are your

[68:05] coworkers? I hope

[68:08] so. Let it not be because you didn't

[68:12] share the

[68:15] gospel. We just stand together with your

[68:17] heads bowed and eyes

[68:21] closed. Piano player, song leader's

[68:23] going to

[68:26] come. How about it tonight?

[68:31] When was the last time you got to share

[68:33] the gospel with

[68:37] somebody they accepted Christ as their

[68:39] savior? When was the last time for

[68:42] you? I can't remember how long it's

[68:44] been. Maybe ask God to give you a

[68:47] burden. Heavenly Father, I pray during

[68:50] this invitation time you'd help us pray

[68:52] for burdens this year. Lord, that you

[68:55] give us

[68:56] opportunities to share the gospel. Help

[68:59] us to be ready to give an answer to any

[69:02] man for the hope that lies within us. In

[69:05] your name I pray. Amen. As brother Sam

[69:08] leads us, you do business with God

[69:10] tonight. Nothing between my soul and the

[69:15] savior, not of this world's

[69:20] delusive

[69:21] dream. I have reounced all sinful

[69:26] pleasure.

[69:28] Jesus is mine. There's nothing

[69:33] between nothing between my soul and the

[69:38] savior. So that his blessed face may be

[69:44] seen. Nothing preventing the least of

[69:48] his

[69:49] favor. Keep the way clear. Let nothing

[69:56] between nothing between like worldly

[70:01] pleasure. Habits of life though harmless

[70:06] they

[70:07] seem. Must not my heart from him ever

[70:12] sever. He is my all. There's nothing

[70:18] between nothing between my soul and the

[70:24] savior so that his blessed face may be

[70:29] seen. Nothing preventing the least of

[70:34] his favor. Keep the way clear. Let

[70:38] nothing

[70:41] between nothing between like pride or

[70:47] station sell for friends shall not

[70:51] intervene.

[70:53] Though it may cost me much

[70:58] tribulation, I am resolved. There's

[71:02] nothing

[71:03] between, nothing between my soul and the

[71:09] Savior, so that his blessed face may be

[71:14] seen. Nothing preventing the least of

[71:19] his

[71:20] favor. Keep the way clear. Let nothing.

[71:25] All God's people said, "Amen." I want to

[71:28] thank you for coming tonight. Want to

[71:30] encourage you to pray for little Bryson

[71:32] Holmes. Uh he is back in the hospital in

[71:34] the ER. Uh still having breathing

[71:37] treatment problems, struggling with his

[71:39] breathing, but his heart rate's elevated

[71:41] in the 200s. And so, please pray for

[71:43] little Bryson. He's battling flu and

[71:46] RSV. So, be in prayer for him. A lot of

[71:49] other folks sick, battling a lot of

[71:51] things. And so be in prayer for one

[71:53] another. Be in prayer for those that are

[71:54] sick today. Also, Kathy

[71:57] Kubaziski asked prayer for her mom.

[72:00] She's going to be having stomach cancer

[72:02] surgery. And so that's going to be later

[72:04] on, I believe the 25th. So she asked

[72:06] prayer this morning. You pray for

[72:08] Kathy's mom. That's Kyle who sits up

[72:10] here. Kyle, that's his mom. So Kyle's

[72:13] grandmother, Billy. So pray for Billy if

[72:16] you would for their upcoming stomach

[72:18] cancer surgery. All right. So let's all

[72:21] be dismissed in song time. Brother

[72:23] Samuel's going to come and lead us in a

[72:25] song. If you'd like to look at the New

[72:27] Testament here and get one ordered for

[72:29] you, let us know that. We'll show them

[72:30] to you in the forer or anything else we

[72:32] can do to help you. We'll try to help

[72:33] you

[72:35] tonight. We're going to be dismissed

[72:37] with song 178, Footprints of Jesus. Song

[72:42] number 178, that first verse and the

[72:45] chorus.

[72:49] Sweetly, Lord, have we heard thee

[72:52] calling? Come, follow

[72:56] me. And we see where thy footprints

[73:00] falling, lead us to

[73:04] thee. Footprints of

[73:07] Jesus that make the pathway glow.

[73:12] We will follow the steps of Jesus

[73:17] wherever they

[73:19] go. You are dismissed.

[73:26] [Music]
