[16:16] image of gold whose height was

[16:17] threescore cubits and the breadth

[16:19] thereof six cubits he set it up in the

[16:22] plain of Dura and the province of

[16:24] Babylon then nebuchadnezzar the king

[16:26] said to gather together the princes the

[16:29] governors and the captains the judges

[16:31] the treasurers to the counselors the

[16:34] sheriffs and all the rulers of the

[16:35] provinces to come to the dedication of

[16:38] the image which is evident knez ER the

[16:40] king had set up then the princes the

[16:43] governors and the captain that's used

[16:45] the treasurer's the counselors the

[16:47] sheriff's and all the rulers of the

[16:49] provinces were gathered together under

[16:51] the dedication of the image that

[16:52] nebuchadnezzar the king had set up and

[16:54] they stood before the image that

[16:56] nebuchadnezzar had set up that in harold

[16:59] cried aloud to you it is commanded all

[17:02] people nations and languages then at

[17:06] what time you hear the sound of the

[17:07] cornet the flute the harp the SEC but

[17:10] the sultry the dulcimer and all kinds of

[17:13] music he fall down and worship the go

[17:16] that Nebuchadnezzar the king that's set

[17:20] up and whoso falleth not down and

[17:22] worship it child the same hour be cast

[17:26] in the midst of a burning fiery furnace

[17:29] therefore at that time when all the

[17:31] people heard the sound of the cornet

[17:33] flute harp sackbut psaltery and all

[17:36] kinds of music all the people the

[17:38] nations and the languages fell down and

[17:40] worshipped the golden image that

[17:43] Nebuchadnezzar the King had set up where

[17:46] for at that time certain Chaldeans came

[17:49] near and accused the Jews they spiked

[17:52] him said to King Nebuchadnezzar O king

[17:55] live forever

[17:57] now lo King has made a decree that every

[18:01] man that shall hear the sound of the

[18:02] cornet flute harp sackbut psaltery and

[18:05] dulcimer and all kinds of music shall

[18:08] fall down and worship the golden image

[18:11] and whoso falleth not down and worship

[18:14] ahthe that he should be cast into the

[18:16] midst of a burning fiery furnace there

[18:19] are certain Jews whom thou has set over

[18:23] the affairs of the prophets about line

[18:24] kind of sounds like they had a problem

[18:26] with those guys didn't it

[18:27] thou hath said over the affairs of the

[18:30] province of Babylon Shadrach Meshach and

[18:32] Abednego we also know them by their

[18:33] Israelite names hen and I abyss yell and

[18:36] Azariah these men O king have not

[18:38] regarded thee they serve not thy God's

[18:42] nor worship the golden image which thou

[18:46] has set up then Nebuchadnezzar in his

[18:49] rage and fury commanded to bring

[18:50] Shadrach Meshach and Abednego then they

[18:53] brought these men before the King

[18:55] Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them

[18:57] is it true

[18:58] o Shadrach Meshach and Abednego do not

[19:01] ye serve my God's nor worship the golden

[19:06] image which I have set up both

[19:08] accusations there he says now if you be

[19:12] ready that at what time be here I'm

[19:14] gonna give you another chance in other

[19:15] words you hear the sound of the cornet

[19:17] flute harp sackbut psaltery and dulcimer

[19:19] and all kinds of music he fall down and

[19:23] worship the image which I have made

[19:25] well but if you worship not you shall be

[19:29] cast the same hour in the midst of a

[19:31] burning fiery furnace and who is that

[19:34] God that shall deliver you out of my

[19:37] hands

[19:38] Shadrach Meshach and Abednego answered

[19:40] and said to the king o Nebuchadnezzar we

[19:43] are not careful to answer thee in this

[19:44] matter if it be so our God whom we serve

[19:48] is able to deliver us from the burning

[19:51] fiery furnace and he will deliver us out

[19:54] of thine hand O king but it's not being

[19:58] known unto thee O king we will not serve

[20:01] thy God's nor worship the golden image

[20:03] which thou has set up then that was

[20:07] nebuchadnezzar full of fury the form of

[20:09] his visit was changed against Shadrach

[20:11] Meshach and Abednego and therefore he

[20:15] spake in commanded that they should heat

[20:16] the furnace one seven times more than it

[20:20] was want to be heated he commanded the

[20:23] most mighty men that were in his army to

[20:25] bind Shadrach Meshach and Abednego and

[20:27] cast him into the burning fiery furnace

[20:30] then these men were bound in their coats

[20:32] their hosts in their hats and their

[20:34] other garments and were cast in the

[20:36] midst of the burning fiery furnace

[20:39] therefore because the Kings commandment

[20:41] was urgent and the furnace exceeding hot

[20:44] the flame of the fire slew those men

[20:46] that took up Shadrach Meshach and

[20:48] Abednego and these three men Shadrach

[20:51] Meshach and Abednego fell down bound in

[20:54] the midst of a burning fiery furnace

[20:56] then Nebuchadnezzar the king was

[20:58] astonished and rose up in haste and

[21:01] spake and said unto his counselors did

[21:03] not we cast three men bound in the midst

[21:05] of the fire they answered and said unto

[21:07] him under the king true O king he

[21:11] answered and said lo I see four men

[21:14] loose walking in the midst of the fire

[21:18] and they have no hurt and the form of

[21:21] the fourth is like the Son of God then

[21:26] Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of

[21:28] the burning fiery furnace and spake and

[21:30] said Shadrach Meshach Abednego these

[21:33] servants of the Most High God how his

[21:36] opinion of God has changed

[21:38] now you servants of the Most High God

[21:41] come forth and come hither then Shadrach

[21:44] Meshach and Abednego came forth of the

[21:48] midst of the fire and the princes

[21:50] governors and captains the king's

[21:52] counselors being gathered together saw

[21:55] these men upon whose body the fire had

[21:58] no power nor was an hair on their head

[22:01] singed neither hair excuse me neither

[22:04] was or the coach changed nor the smell

[22:08] of fire had passed on them then

[22:11] Nebuchadnezzar spake it said blessed be

[22:12] the god of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego

[22:15] who has sent his angel and delivered his

[22:17] servants that trusted in him have

[22:20] changed the Kings word and yielded their

[22:23] bodies that they might not serve nor

[22:25] worship any God except their own God

[22:28] therefore I make a decree that every

[22:31] people nation and language will speak

[22:34] anything amiss against the god of

[22:35] Shadrach Meshach and Abednego shall be

[22:38] cut in pieces their houses shall be made

[22:40] a dunghill because there is no other god

[22:44] that can deliver after this sort then

[22:47] the king promoted Shadrach Meshach

[22:49] Abednego in the province of Babylon I

[22:52] know it's a lengthy portion of Scripture

[22:54] and we're gonna dissect it here in just

[22:55] a moment but I like to you preach to you

[22:58] and I with a the help of the Lord a

[22:59] message entitled lessons from the

[23:02] furnace lessons from the furnace let's

[23:05] go the Lord in prayer tonight definitely

[23:08] father lord I thank you for the

[23:09] opportunity to preach your word what I

[23:11] pray tonight that if you would please

[23:13] cleanse me of sin get into me yourself

[23:15] that I may get out of the way tonight

[23:16] and your word may go for what I pray

[23:18] that you'd speak to our hearts challenge

[23:21] us from your word help us tonight Lord

[23:23] we pray Lord we pray tonight that you

[23:26] would bind Satan keep him far from this

[23:28] place will repay for the technical

[23:30] aspects of our service that it will work

[23:32] according to the plan you've set forth

[23:34] Lord in your name I pray amen

[23:36] as you look at this portion of Scripture

[23:39] Nebuchadnezzar's made the decree it's

[23:41] come down and there are a lot of people

[23:43] a lot of Jews that

[23:45] there that are in positions of authority

[23:47] who chose to bow but there's three men

[23:52] we find in our text that did not bow

[23:55] Shadrach Meshach and Abednego

[23:58] you'll notice some things about these

[24:01] three you'll notice that when they

[24:04] arrive on the scene they're given an

[24:06] ultimatum to bow down and worship the

[24:09] image once again in verse 16 they answer

[24:13] Shadrach Meshach and Abednego answered

[24:15] and said to the king o Nebuchadnezzar we

[24:17] are not careful to answer thee in this

[24:19] matter if it be so our God whom we serve

[24:23] is able to deliver us from the burning

[24:25] fiery furnace and he will deliver us out

[24:29] of thine hand O king but if not be it

[24:33] known unto thee O king that we will not

[24:35] serve thy God's nor worship the golden

[24:37] image which thou has set up lesson

[24:40] number 1 we learned from the furnace

[24:42] tonight number 1 courage and conviction

[24:44] are needed to face the fiery furnaces of

[24:48] our life courage and conviction are

[24:51] needed in order to face the Fiery

[24:54] Furnaces of our life there will be times

[24:57] in the life of every Christian when you

[24:59] are fronted with the furnace type

[25:01] experience I think that challenges you

[25:04] something that is something you're not

[25:07] expecting something that's going to test

[25:09] you and in their lives it was a literal

[25:12] fiery furnace but they had some

[25:16] conviction about them the conviction

[25:19] they had was on who God is and what he

[25:22] can do in their life who God is and what

[25:25] he could do they said our God whom we

[25:27] serve is able he's able you remember

[25:31] that song he's able to deliver thee he

[25:36] is able to deliver thee you know our God

[25:39] is able we find here in our texts that

[25:42] they said he is able who and God who we

[25:45] serve is able to deliver us from the

[25:48] burning fiery furnace if you have your

[25:50] Bibles turn to the Book of Isaiah very

[25:52] quickly

[25:53] Isaiah chapter number 43 Isaiah chapter

[25:57] number 43 as we turn there tonight

[26:02] Isaiah was written before the Book of

[26:05] Daniel and such a time that it would

[26:08] appear that these young men here had

[26:10] heard of the portions of Isaiah Isaiah

[26:15] chapter 43 verse 2 says this when thou

[26:18] passed us through the waters I will be

[26:21] with thee and through the rivers they

[26:23] shall not overflow thee when thou

[26:26] walkest through the fire thou shall not

[26:30] be burned

[26:31] neither shall flame Kindle upon thee

[26:34] these young men knew of Isaiah knew of

[26:38] the reading of Isaiah 43 they trusted

[26:41] God and His Word they trusted would have

[26:45] been prophesied by Isaiah the prophet

[26:47] they trusted the reading that if they

[26:50] faced the fighter God would be with him

[26:53] they had some conviction in their lives

[26:56] that who God is he is their God whom

[26:59] they served notice Nebuchadnezzar's

[27:01] accusation he says you don't serve my

[27:03] gods and you don't worship the image

[27:07] which I've set up there was two

[27:10] accusations given and those young men I

[27:13] believe they're over 30 years of age for

[27:15] sure it's probably 20 years from chapter

[27:18] number one in Chapter number three at

[27:19] least we find these men here saying

[27:23] we're not bowing

[27:25] we're not bowing down to you

[27:28] Nebuchadnezzar

[27:29] we're not bowing down to your God we're

[27:33] bowing down to our Heavenly Father

[27:36] we're bowing down to him we're

[27:39] worshiping him there was some convention

[27:42] in the life notice also there's some

[27:43] courage there was some courage to face

[27:46] the unknown

[27:48] but they remembered the who who knows

[27:51] they were had the courage to face the

[27:54] unknown but they remembered who knows

[27:57] look at verse 18 but if not but if not

[28:00] if our God chooses to let us go through

[28:03] the fire to let us burn in the fire if

[28:06] not be it known under the EO king we

[28:11] will not serve thy God's nor worship the

[28:13] golden image which thou has set up in

[28:15] other words they had the courage to face

[28:17] the fire they had the courage if God

[28:20] chose chose for them to endure the

[28:23] flames and be burned to a crisp they had

[28:27] the courage to say we're still not

[28:29] bowing we're still not bow and we're

[28:32] still not giving in we're gonna trust in

[28:34] God he continues on not only the lesson

[28:39] number one from the furnace said it

[28:41] takes courage and conviction are needed

[28:43] to face fiery furnace experiences number

[28:47] two without God you cannot face the

[28:52] fiery furnace look what happened in

[28:55] verse number 22 these men know Beacon as

[28:59] erst men they came to the fire and

[29:03] without God they threw them in but the

[29:06] fire was so hot that is slew those men

[29:10] that took him up there are a lot of

[29:12] people who go through fiery furnace type

[29:15] experiences in their life who go through

[29:17] difficult trials and they struggle very

[29:20] much because they're doing it without

[29:22] God they have a very difficult time

[29:24] because they do it without him because

[29:27] without me the Bible says he can do

[29:30] nothing not that she can do a little not

[29:34] that she can do something so says she

[29:36] can do nothing so lesson number two for

[29:39] the furnace without God you can't handle

[29:42] the Fiery Furnaces that come your way

[29:44] without God you'll burn up without God

[29:49] you'll struggle without him I want you

[29:53] to notice something else lesson number

[29:55] three from the furnace he saved them in

[29:59] the furnace

[30:00] not from the furnace he saved them in

[30:03] the furnace not from the furnace in our

[30:07] Christian life we would wish for all of

[30:10] it to be easy for Christians would it be

[30:14] lovely if the Christian life has one

[30:17] preacher once said was made in the shade

[30:19] drinking pink lemonade but it's not that

[30:23] way it's difficult at times it's hard at

[30:26] times it's troubling at times we find

[30:29] here in our state God saved them in the

[30:32] furnace not from the furnace in our

[30:36] Christian life God allows things in our

[30:39] lives some difficult situations to test

[30:44] we don't always like the test we don't

[30:47] always enjoy the test we don't enjoy

[30:50] furnace like experience does anybody

[30:52] enjoy furnace like experiences no hands

[30:55] here in the auditorium nobody enjoys

[30:56] things like that but God saved him in

[30:59] the furnace not from the furnace you'll

[31:04] notice they're caught up they're bound

[31:05] they're thrown in the midst but then

[31:12] it says Nebuchadnezzar the king was

[31:14] astounded and rose up in haste and spake

[31:15] and said his counselors did not we cast

[31:18] three men bound in the midst of the fire

[31:21] they answered instead of the king true

[31:23] King he answered and said lo I see four

[31:26] men loose loose and walking in the midst

[31:34] of the fire and they have no hurt and

[31:40] the form of the fourth is like the Son

[31:43] of God when God lesson number four from

[31:47] the furnace when God is present with us

[31:50] he helps us arise in the furnace

[31:53] experience when God is present with us

[31:57] he helps us to arise Shadrach Meshach

[32:00] and Abednego they got thrown bound down

[32:03] into the midst of the burning fiery

[32:05] furnace

[32:07] but when the presence of God was

[32:09] revealed they were walking they got up

[32:14] they got up and they were walking in the

[32:18] midst of the fire and there was no hurt

[32:22] on them and the form of the fourth was

[32:25] like the cigar lesson number four when

[32:26] God is present with us he helps us arise

[32:29] in the furnace lesson number five

[32:33] tonight lesson number five verse 26 the

[32:40] Nebuchadnezzar came near the mouth of

[32:41] the burning fiery furnace and spake and

[32:43] said Shadrach Meshach Abednego you

[32:45] servant to the most like I come forth

[32:46] and come hither some furnaces are for

[32:52] others to see some furnace experiences

[32:57] in the Christian life are for others to

[32:59] see God Shadrach Meshach and Abednego

[33:03] they're thrown in the midst of the fiery

[33:05] furnace because of their courage and

[33:06] conviction they know that God is with

[33:09] them they know that God is a very

[33:14] that very moment God shows her and God

[33:16] helps them to rise in the fiery furnace

[33:20] did you notice doesn't say that Shadrach

[33:24] Meshach and Abednego Saul gone I believe

[33:29] in my heart they felt his presence but

[33:33] it doesn't say they saw the fourth man

[33:35] sometimes in our life we want God to

[33:38] show up and let us see how he's doing

[33:40] that working through the situation and

[33:42] sometimes he doesn't let us see him I'm

[33:46] so thankful you can feel his presence

[33:48] you can know that he's near you can know

[33:52] that he's around you I believe Shadrach

[33:55] Meshach and Abednego knew the presence

[33:57] of the Lord was there or else they just

[33:58] stayed on the ground they got up they

[34:02] were walking around they knew in the

[34:07] midst of the fire so the fiery furnace

[34:15] even though the participants are

[34:18] Shadrach Meshach and Abednego I think

[34:22] the message is clear it was for

[34:24] Nebuchadnezzar the Kings the counselors

[34:27] the princes all of them to see

[34:33] lesson number six

[34:36] with God we can walk out of fiery

[34:40] furnace experiences with God we can walk

[34:44] out of fiery furnace experiences says

[34:51] that they called unto Him they came

[34:53] forth walked right out now at our house

[34:58] or sometimes that we've got a little

[35:00] fire pit in the backyard and when it's

[35:02] not a fire warning in Oklahoma we like

[35:06] to put a little fire out

[35:08] we like to roast some marshmallows hot

[35:12] dogs over that little fire with the boys

[35:16] well you know what happens when they

[35:18] come in the house everybody that was

[35:21] around that fire snow flexpa everyone

[35:25] that was near it has the scent the aroma

[35:29] that they were around the fire

[35:33] but you'll notice in verse number 27

[35:38] excuse me verse number 20 verse 27 the

[35:41] Kings the governor's the captain's Kings

[35:44] counselors been gathered to solve these

[35:46] men on whose body the fire had no power

[35:50] nor was an hair on their head singed

[35:53] neither where their coats changed nor

[35:55] the smell of fire had passed on them

[36:00] when God delivered he delivered 100%

[36:05] it'll deliver part of the way they

[36:08] didn't walk out with second-degree burns

[36:10] they didn't walk out with it he burns

[36:13] they didn't even walked out with fire

[36:15] marks on their clothes they didn't walk

[36:18] out with the smell of smoke on them that

[36:22] doesn't happen

[36:29] so we fast forward to 2020 and we're at

[36:34] a time in Christianity that it's a

[36:37] furnace-like experience right now we're

[36:40] at a time where this world is in a place

[36:44] of very much you would say is like the

[36:48] Laodicean Church age where the people of

[36:51] this world make God sick with their sin

[36:55] and to live in 2020 during this time

[36:59] there's some lessons that we need to

[37:02] take and apply to our life in order to

[37:05] live for God in 2020 and be the

[37:07] Christian that God wants you to be it's

[37:09] gonna take some courage and it's going

[37:11] to take some conviction you got to know

[37:13] what you believe and why you believe it

[37:16] you got to have something on the inside

[37:17] so that you can deal with the things on

[37:20] the outside you got to have some

[37:22] internal convictions a conviction on who

[37:26] God is and what he can do in your life

[37:29] my friend he's not on vacation God is

[37:32] not in isolation

[37:33] he hasn't quarantined himself but how

[37:36] many of us have quarantined ourselves

[37:38] from God we've taken time off from

[37:41] reading our Bible we've taken time off

[37:43] for fell shipping with him we've taken

[37:46] time off from all those things but my

[37:48] friend you and I need

[37:51] fix it in our heart about who God is and

[37:53] what he can do the hope to survive this

[37:59] time will not be found in a vaccination

[38:03] it will only be by the grace of God God

[38:08] will give wisdom to whom he chooses to

[38:10] give wisdom to a man I'm very thankful

[38:13] for doctors I'm thankful for nurses that

[38:16] are on the front lines I'm very thankful

[38:19] for them and how they are putting

[38:21] themselves on the line to rescue people

[38:24] and to minister to people and to help

[38:26] people and let me encourage you to pray

[38:28] for them we ought to be praying for

[38:31] those that are doctors and nurses right

[38:33] now very central to our life very

[38:38] essential to the people around us we

[38:41] ought to pray for them but my friend we

[38:44] ought to pray with a hearts desire that

[38:47] they're not the answer he's the answer

[38:50] we ought to have some conviction in our

[38:52] heart on who God is and what he wants to

[38:55] do and my friend we've got to have some

[38:56] courage right now I've never seen so

[38:59] many people overwhelmed by fear and

[39:01] anxiety

[39:03] I've got pastor friend after a pastor

[39:05] friend after a pastor friend who are

[39:06] doing series on anxiety and fear and

[39:10] straw and doubt why because there's a

[39:13] lot of watch this Christians battling

[39:16] fear a lot of Christians battling fear

[39:21] God has not given us the spirit of fear

[39:24] but of power and of love and of a sound

[39:28] mind

[39:29] so you need for this day and time it's

[39:33] an unknown situation they say over the

[39:36] next couple of weeks it's going to get

[39:37] worse it's probably going to happen

[39:40] there's going to be more cases there's

[39:43] going to be more people sick there's

[39:45] going to be unfortunately more people

[39:47] die it's going to happen marker down

[39:51] but if you and I are staring at the

[39:53] numbers we're gonna get concerned some

[39:58] of us may get overwhelmed by fear let me

[40:02] tell you what you need you need to learn

[40:03] this lesson that Shadrach Meshach and

[40:05] Abednego you have to have the courage to

[40:07] face the unknown but remember who knows

[40:10] you got to have the courage to face the

[40:13] unknown but remember who knows and by

[40:15] the way just in case you didn't know God

[40:17] did give you a brain and he wants you to

[40:20] use the brain that he gave you he wants

[40:23] you to use wisdom he wants you to use

[40:25] the the brain that he gave you to social

[40:27] distance yourselves to not take risk and

[40:30] put yourself in a difficult situation

[40:32] where you or your family's health could

[40:35] be compromised he wants you to use the

[40:37] brain that he gave you about at the end

[40:39] of the day we can blame her head down on

[40:41] our pillow and no he's already in our

[40:44] tomorrow and he already knows what's

[40:46] ahead so let's talk to him about it when

[40:49] we wake up so we know what we're gonna

[40:52] be facing there must be couraging

[40:55] conviction

[40:56] number two we will not be able to handle

[40:59] the pressures of this environment that

[41:03] we're in without God without God you're

[41:10] gonna be angry without God you're going

[41:14] to be upset without God you're gonna

[41:17] feel cheated without God you're going to

[41:20] be overcome by fear without him you

[41:24] can't face April of 2020

[41:29] without him we can do nothing but

[41:36] I'm so thankful that the day that I

[41:39] accepted Jesus Christ as my savior the

[41:43] Holy Spirit moved in and took residence

[41:45] in my heart and he never leaves me he

[41:50] never forsakes me he's always with me

[41:54] he's a convicted I mean convicted he's

[41:57] an encourage her when I need encourage

[41:59] he he's a help when I need help

[42:02] he's a strength when I need strength

[42:04] he's with me all the time and he's right

[42:07] there with me no matter what as face no

[42:10] matter who I come in contact with God is

[42:13] with me and as a Christian he's with you

[42:17] learn that lesson and apply it to your

[42:20] life today I want you to notice and

[42:25] remind ourselves of lesson number three

[42:27] tonight God saved him in the furnace

[42:31] not from the furnace Christians may be

[42:34] wondering why do we have to go through

[42:36] this I don't have the answer but I know

[42:40] who does I personally believe right now

[42:45] God is testing Christianity I believe

[42:50] right now God is fed up with the United

[42:52] States of America a country who was once

[42:55] founded upon godly principles but have

[42:57] turned their back on God and we kill

[43:01] more babies every single day than the

[43:03] coded 19 virus does it's a sad situation

[43:11] homosexuality rampant in our country

[43:14] today but what's sad is that some

[43:16] Christians had homosexuality on their TV

[43:19] this afternoon

[43:22] we say it's wicked it's wicked it's

[43:24] wicked but my favorite show I know that

[43:26] couple they're different

[43:28] no it's an abomination under God it's

[43:32] still wrong but God saves us in the

[43:36] furnace not from the furnace

[43:38] Christianity right now is being tested

[43:40] to see if you're a true follower of

[43:42] Christ or if you're just a fan now

[43:46] there's some people who are fans and

[43:48] then there's some people who are

[43:50] fanatics there are some people who are

[43:53] fans of the Dallas Cowboys even when

[43:57] they lose they're still a fan then there

[44:02] are some who are fans of the Kansas City

[44:07] Chiefs

[44:09] and they believe that they've received

[44:11] the greatest quarterback in all the

[44:13] world at least for right now but they're

[44:18] fans of their team there are people here

[44:21] in the state of Oklahoma that are fans

[44:24] of oh you football everything about them

[44:29] says oh you football but there are

[44:32] people who have a different opinion

[44:36] so they have an opinion that their

[44:38] Oklahoma State football fans but they

[44:42] can't get along with Oklahoma fans they

[44:46] pick on them they insult them they make

[44:48] fun of each other and then there's that

[44:51] team that south of the border

[44:54] we won't mention them

[44:57] it's kind of like in the Bible when you

[45:01] headed south you went down to Egypt and

[45:03] that represented the world and God

[45:05] wanted nobody involved

[45:08] I'm just teasing tonight some of you

[45:11] needed a laugh there for a minute but in

[45:14] our lives right now there are people who

[45:17] are just fans of Jesus as long as he's

[45:21] doing good

[45:22] he is good but when he puts them through

[45:25] difficult times God's not good anymore

[45:28] God is good because he is good not

[45:30] because of what he does in our life

[45:35] tonight he saved him in the furnace not

[45:39] from the furnace when God is present

[45:41] will be able to arise as a Christian

[45:45] tonight we're gonna be able to arise

[45:47] we're gonna be able to go through this

[45:48] situation we're gonna be able to survive

[45:50] it you say well I know Christians that

[45:53] got the virus and died there are some

[45:58] you say preacher why is that as part of

[46:01] God's plan that ultimately watch this

[46:04] brings honor and glory to him the

[46:08] situation of the land today is to show

[46:10] that God is present in Christian lives I

[46:13] honestly believe that April 2020

[46:16] the main lesson that God's trying to

[46:19] teach America is that the furnace

[46:21] experience we're in is not for the

[46:24] Christian people that are in it but it's

[46:27] for the others who are watching to see

[46:30] how we handle this to see what we do yes

[46:37] church is still much at work which they

[46:41] ought to be sharing the gospel with

[46:43] people we still ought to be encouraging

[47:28] this is over and we get back to having

[47:41] were doing everything they could they

[47:44] were streaming their services they're

[47:47] putting out encouraging content every

[47:50] day that we're trying to do stuff for

[47:54] to reach people they were doing all that

[47:56] they could because they love the people

[54:53] next 48 hours are critical

[55:02] intervene there also one of our church

[55:04] planters brother John shocked his son

[55:06] Stephen who's I believe a preteen

[55:10] teenage boy had to have emergency

[55:12] appendectomy surgery this morning and

[55:15] have his appendix removed it was swollen

[55:17] inflamed and not doing very well so they

[55:20] brought him into the hospital last night

[55:21] had emergency appendectomy he's doing

[55:23] okay and he seems to be in better

[55:25] spirits but continue to pray for him and

[55:27] their recovery we greatly appreciate

[55:29] that and so I encourage you to pray for

[55:32] one another if your haven't talked to

[55:38] them a call and invite them to church
