[0:09] [Music]

[0:16] Refugees bring harrowing tales out of

[0:19] Kosovo

[0:20] as NATO's commander visits the region to

[0:23] reassure Yugoslavia's neighbors. And the

[0:26] United States considers how to pay for

[0:28] its participation in the Balkans

[0:30] mission.

[0:41] Hello and welcome to you. I'm Michael

[0:42] Holmes and we begin with the latest on

[0:44] the crisis in the Balkans. Five ethnic

[0:47] Albanians reportedly are dead following

[0:49] a landmine explosion. An official with

[0:52] the Organization for Security and

[0:54] Cooperation in Europe says the Kosvar's

[0:56] vehicle hit the mine 20 m before

[0:58] crossing the Albanian border. It

[1:01] happened on the main road leading into

[1:03] Marina, Albania. Meanwhile, the All

[1:05] Clear has sounded in Belgrade after

[1:07] NATO's 25th night of attacks. Serbian

[1:10] television says bombs landed in a

[1:12] residential area about 20 kilometers

[1:15] northwest of Belgrade. A military

[1:17] airport is located in the area. The

[1:19] state-run TV reports a three-year-old

[1:22] girl was killed and several people were

[1:24] injured. NATO bombs reportedly also hit

[1:27] Yugoslavia's two oil refineries again.

[1:29] The alliance says it intends to deny the

[1:32] Yugoslav army petroleum and oil.

[1:36] Well, for more now on the military

[1:37] operation in Yugoslavia, we go to CNN's

[1:40] Jim Hill at the Pentagon. Jim, good

[1:42] morning. Good morning. It's been 4 days

[1:44] now, but uh NATO is still investigating

[1:47] an attack on a civilian convoy in Kosovo

[1:50] that happened on Wednesday. That ongoing

[1:53] investigation is because Yugoslavia is

[1:55] claiming that NATO planes are the ones

[1:57] who attacked the convoy and killed

[1:59] dozens
