[0:00] good morning Bible Baptist Church family

[0:03] sorry for the delay in the video we had

[0:05] some technical difficulties today well

[0:07] we are excited about what the Lord has

[0:09] in store for us this weekend looking

[0:11] forward to church on Sunday as we

[0:13] celebrate Palm Sunday and the triumphal

[0:15] entry of our Savior into the city of

[0:18] Jerusalem so excited about those things

[0:20] and I want to encourage you at this time

[0:23] to be mindful of the things that are

[0:26] going on in our land we know this virus

[0:28] is raising its ugly head and over the

[0:31] next few weeks we expect it to get worse

[0:33] in our country as they are testing more

[0:36] people and more results coming back and

[0:39] so we know that there's gonna be a lot

[0:41] of information thrown at you but also we

[0:44] want you to be people that understand

[0:47] that fear shouldn't rule our lives but

[0:49] common sense is something that God wants

[0:52] us to use and so let me encourage you to

[0:54] do your best to avoid contact with

[0:58] people not because we want to distance

[1:00] ourselves from everyone because we don't

[1:02] like people but we want you to be safe

[1:04] and so we encourage you to social

[1:06] distance yourselves and to be continuing

[1:09] to wash your hands and to be safe and if

[1:13] you're someone who needs something done

[1:16] for you and your your not able to go out

[1:19] and do that please contact the church

[1:20] office let us know and we'll be happy to

[1:23] try to help in any way that we can to do

[1:25] that but I do encourage you try to do

[1:27] your best to to avoid groups and

[1:30] gatherings and with that being said I

[1:33] encourage you to watch the livestream

[1:35] services here at Bible Baptist Church on

[1:38] Sundays at 11 o'clock and at 6 o'clock

[1:41] on Sunday 9 7 o'clock on Wednesday and

[1:44] to participate in the words of

[1:45] encouragement each day so that they can

[1:47] help you during this time to keep your

[1:50] faith strengthened and the things of God

[1:53] today's scripture for us is proverbs

[1:55] chapter 3 verses 5 and 6 I love this

[1:59] portion of Scripture the Bible says

[2:01] trust in the Lord with all thine heart

[2:04] and lean not into thine own

[2:06] understanding and all thy ways

[2:07] acknowledge him and he shall direct thy

[2:11] paths the key first part of that

[2:13] first verse there is trust in the Lord

[2:16] he is a trustworthy God he is one that

[2:19] we can trust in it so I encourage you

[2:22] trust in the Lord and the next part it

[2:25] says with all thine heart our hard and

[2:28] our seat of our emotions and my friend

[2:31] if you're not careful to trust in the

[2:33] Lord you'll let your heart run wild and

[2:36] your emotions will overwhelm you my

[2:39] friend our trust in our faith needs to

[2:41] be put in the Lord so I encourage you

[2:43] trust in the Lord with all thine heart

[2:45] and lean not unto thine own

[2:48] understanding you know each and every

[2:50] single day we are bombarded with

[2:52] information about Koba 19 some truthful

[2:57] some fearful some overwhelming but at

[3:02] the end of the day God is still God but

[3:05] God still wants us to acknowledge him so

[3:08] we ought to pray and seek his face and I

[3:11] encourage you to pray my wife and I we

[3:13] pray for our our family safety and the

[3:16] safety of our church members and the

[3:19] health of them and we check on them

[3:20] regularly and you know it's a it's a

[3:23] time in our lives where we've never

[3:25] faced this before but I encourage you

[3:29] trust in the Lord he will help you and

[3:33] acknowledge his way for your life and as

[3:36] you pray and you seek the Lord there may

[3:38] be some things the Lord directs you to

[3:40] do at this time the Lord may direct you

[3:42] to stay safe at home let me encourage it

[3:45] you're not a weak Christian because God

[3:47] says to say safe at home to you if God

[3:51] says that he wants you to shelter in ya

[3:54] it's not that you have weak faith it's

[3:57] that that God is impressing upon your

[3:59] heart through the leadership of his word

[4:01] in order to do those things now make

[4:03] sure it's God and not your fear that's

[4:06] telling you those things now you say

[4:08] well God's telling me to go and do

[4:10] whatever I want to do pastor well that's

[4:13] between you and the Lord but I do

[4:14] believe that God wants us to submit to

[4:17] those authorities that are in our lives

[4:19] and those doctors and those that have

[4:22] wisdom and discernment about this virus

[4:24] we we ought to consider what they say so

[4:28] I do believe that God wants us to be

[4:29] safe I believe God wants us to be good

[4:31] citizens I believe God wants us to take

[4:34] the care so let me encourage you today

[4:36] try your best to avoid those groups

[4:38] because we love you and we want you to

[4:41] be safe and we want you to not have to

[4:44] go through this terrible virus that's

[4:46] out there we also want to encourage you

[4:49] that God is still gone and he's on the

[4:51] throne and so you can trust him with

[4:53] your day-to-day life we also want to let

[4:56] you know we're here for you anything we

[4:58] can do to help to be a blessing to pray

[5:01] with you you let us know if you want to

[5:03] call us on the phone if you want to text

[5:05] us if you want to video chat with us

[5:08] whatever it is whatever we can do to be

[5:10] an encouragement to you it is our desire

[5:12] to do that one of the ways we're looking

[5:15] forward this next week is to release

[5:17] some content for young people so that

[5:20] they can have a time of worshiping the

[5:22] Lord - so looking for that on our

[5:24] church's Facebook page on our YouTube

[5:27] channel that's upcoming very soon and so

[5:30] be excited to share with that also we've

[5:32] got some other speakers that are viewing

[5:34] words of encouragement so I want you to

[5:36] tune in and pay attention to those as

[5:38] well again I pray today that you are

[5:41] encouraged to trust in the Lord I pray

[5:44] today that fear will not overwhelm you

[5:46] but that your faith in God will lead you

[5:49] and guide you day-by-day

[5:51] may we pray together dear Heavenly

[5:53] Father we are so thankful that we can

[5:56] come to you in our time of need and lord

[5:58] I pray for those right now that are

[6:01] fighting on the front lines the doctors

[6:03] the nurses the health care workers those

[6:06] working for cures those in manufacturing

[6:09] jobs that are producing the the masks

[6:12] and the cows Lord we pray that you

[6:14] protect them and you keep them safe and

[6:17] you'd bless them for their work there

[6:19] Lord more we also pray for those that

[6:22] are delivering supplies those truckers

[6:25] that are driving across the country give

[6:27] them traveling safety and traveling

[6:29] mercies Lord that you would help them

[6:31] and protect them on the road Lord we

[6:34] pray for those that are overwhelmed with

[6:37] fear right now Lord that you would send

[6:39] your sweet home

[6:40] spirit to comfort them and to give them

[6:44] encouragement will rephrase a church

[6:46] yes we've left the building but we're

[6:48] still at work would we pray that you'd

[6:50] help us to minister to those around us

[6:53] the best that we can to be a positive

[6:56] encouragement for their cause of Christ

[6:58] Lord we're thankful for how you work in

[7:01] our lives we're thankful for what you do

[7:03] bless us today Lord for anyone that's

[7:06] watching this video that has a prayer

[7:08] request Lord I pray that they would send

[7:11] that to us

[7:11] so that we can boldly come before your

[7:15] throne and mention their request to you

[7:18] thank you for all that you've done for

[7:20] us Lord in your name I pray amen again

[7:23] thank you for watching this word of

[7:24] encouragement we'll see you next time
