[0:06] of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
[0:08] Trust that you are all doing well.
[0:11] We're happy to be sharing God's word
[0:13] with you, and we're on our series how to
[0:15] read the Book of Revelation.
[0:18] We have reached part 23, which is the
[0:20] third and fourth seal, taken from our
[0:23] scripture Revelations chapter 6
[0:27] verse 5 to 8.
[0:29] You turn in your Bibles with me, we can
[0:31] read
[0:32] uh Revelation 6:5-8. And when he had
[0:35] opened the third seal, I heard the third
[0:38] beast say, "Come and see." And I beheld,
[0:40] and lo, a black horse.
[0:43] And he that sat on him had a pair of
[0:44] balances in his hand. And I heard a
[0:47] voice in the midst of the four beasts
[0:49] say,
[0:50] "A measure of wheat for a penny, three
[0:52] measures of barley for a penny, and see
[0:54] thou hurt not the oil and the wine."
[0:58] And when he had opened the fourth seal,
[1:00] I heard the voice of the fourth beast
[1:02] say, "Come and see." And I looked, and
[1:05] behold, a pale horse. And his name that
[1:07] sat on him was death, and hell followed
[1:10] with him. And power was given unto them
[1:13] over the fourth part of the earth to
[1:15] kill with sword and with hunger and with
[1:19] death
[1:20] and with the beasts of the earth.
[1:23] The Lord add a blessing to his word.
[1:25] So, following from last week,
[1:28] the only way to understand the seals is
[1:30] through the messenger who was called to
[1:32] reveal them.
[1:34] We have to lay this down as our
[1:35] foundation and as something that we all
[1:38] need to accept and understand. There is
[1:40] no other way to understand the seals
[1:43] because the revealing of the seals was
[1:45] the duty of the messenger of the las
