[0:32] today in verse number five we want to

[1:14] reading in verse number five

[1:16] and there was given unto him a mouth

[1:19] speaking great things and blasphemies

[1:21] the hymn here we're talking about is the

[1:23] antichrist

[1:25] and power was given unto him to continue

[1:27] forty

[1:28] and two months and he opened his mouth

[1:31] in blasphemy against god to blaspheme

[1:35] his name

[1:36] and his tabernacle and them that dwell

[1:39] in heaven and it was given unto him to

[1:42] make war

[1:43] with the saints and overcome them and

[1:46] the power was given him over all

[1:48] kindreds and tongues

[1:50] and nations and all that dwell upon the

[1:52] earth shall worship him

[1:54] whose names are not written in the book

[1:56] of the of life

[1:57] of the lamb slain from the foundation of

[2:00] the world

[2:01] if any man have an ear let him hear he

[2:04] that leadeth into captivity shall go

[2:06] into captivity he that killeth with the

[2:08] sword

[2:09] must be killed with the sword here is

[2:12] the patience and

[2:13] faith of the saints and so as we

[2:16] dive in today we want to look at

[2:18] revelation 13.

[2:20] you we noticed back in verse number one

[2:22] the beast has arisen

[2:24] out of the sea the beast being the

[2:26] antichrist the sea there referencing the

[2:29] sea

[2:29] of humanity he's come up out of the sea

[2:32] and

[2:32] the descriptor terms are given there we

[2:35] also know the dragon

[2:37] in this chapter is satan himself and so

[2:40] the beast referencing the antichrist

[2:43] last week we talked about the wound that

[2:45] he receives

[2:46] and the appearance of a fatal wound and

[2:50] that he recovers from

[2:52] now in verse 5 is still talking about

[2:54] the beast

[2:55] which we know to be the antichrist there

[2:58] was given unto him

[2:59] a mouth speaking great things and

[3:02] blasphemies

[3:03] now the mouth is not that he didn't have

[3:05] a mouth but

[3:06] an opportunity a platform to speak

[3:10] and satan the dragon empowers him and

[3:13] gives him the opportunity to speak great

[3:17] things and so

[3:18] as we've talked about in chapter number

[3:21] 13 verses number one we talked about the

[3:24] revived roman empire coming back into

[3:27] power

[3:28] and coming back into play and this man

[3:30] here the antichrist

[3:32] is leading that front he's the leader of

[3:34] that he's the

[3:36] horn from the ten horns and so we find

[3:39] him here

[3:40] he's speaking great things and

[3:43] blasphemies

[3:44] and power was given unto him to continue

[3:47] 42

[3:48] months now 42 months is three and a half

[3:51] years

[3:52] so the first three and a half years the

[3:54] antichrist is

[3:55] in the ringing about power everything's

[3:59] going great

[4:00] everything is wonderful and then the

[4:03] midpoint of the tribulation period

[4:05] everything changes and now is when he is

[4:08] speaking out blasphemies

[4:11] now is when he's attacking and causing

[4:13] war

[4:14] and destruction the first three and a

[4:16] half years

[4:17] of the antichrist power and reign

[4:20] is wonderful peaceful made in the shade

[4:23] drinking pink lemonade

[4:24] but the last three and a half years it's

[4:26] all terrible and awful

[4:28] and fightings and so it says here that

[4:31] he continues that 42 months he's got a

[4:33] set plan

[4:34] the end of his 42 months is the return

[4:38] of jesus christ

[4:39] the second coming of our lord will

[4:42] happen

[4:42] and the battle will take place and

[4:45] the antichrist will lose and he'll be

[4:48] cast into the

[4:49] lake of fire but here in verse six it

[4:52] said he opened his mouth and

[4:54] blasphemy against god to blaspheme his

[4:58] name

[4:58] and his tabernacle and them that dwell

[5:01] in heaven the antichrist in the middle

[5:04] of the tribulation period

[5:06] will be speaking such awful and terrible

[5:08] things

[5:09] blaspheming god we talked about it last

[5:12] week

[5:12] that they're going to say who is likened

[5:14] to the beast

[5:15] and who can make war with him and then

[5:18] later in our text in verse 8

[5:20] the whole earth shall worship him

[5:23] except those that's name is written in

[5:26] the book of life

[5:27] but of the lamb of that was slain from

[5:30] the foundation of the world

[5:32] and so all those unsaved jews and

[5:34] gentiles upon the earth

[5:36] during the tribulation all those that

[5:38] are unsafe they're going to worship

[5:39] the beast the antichrist they're going

[5:42] to treat him as god

[5:43] he's going to do everything he can to

[5:45] draw attention to himself

[5:47] away from god because if you remember

[5:49] all the way back into chapter 1

[5:51] of revelation the book of revelation is

[5:54] jesus christ's revelation

[5:56] to mankind and it was in the present

[6:00] and it was also in the future and so

[6:03] jesus christ in the book of revelation

[6:05] and the 70th week of daniel as we

[6:08] described it

[6:09] or the tribulation period is revealing

[6:11] himself to the nation of israel

[6:14] it is god revealing jesus to be the

[6:16] messiah to the nation of israel the

[6:18] antichrist is the steeler he's the false

[6:22] one

[6:22] he's the deceiver who's trying to say

[6:25] that he's the christ

[6:26] to deceive as many people as he can from

[6:29] following after

[6:30] jesus christ now i want you to look at

[6:32] verse 7

[6:33] verse 7 says and it was given unto him

[6:36] to make war

[6:37] with the saints now we got to rewind if

[6:40] we go

[6:41] and start thinking about that oh he's

[6:43] making war against the saints well when

[6:44] is he doing that

[6:46] it's in the mid tribulational point it's

[6:48] from this point forward until the second

[6:50] coming of jesus christ

[6:52] you say well pastor adam i thought we

[6:54] all the church left

[6:55] at the rapture we did all the saved

[6:58] people before the tribulation period

[7:01] all saved people before the tribulation

[7:04] period will be taken out

[7:05] in the rapture of the church so

[7:09] how do people get saved during the

[7:11] tribulation period well i'm so glad that

[7:13] you asked

[7:14] it's through the witness of the 144 000

[7:17] witnesses

[7:19] and the two witnesses that come down

[7:21] from heaven

[7:22] so those witnesses testify

[7:25] and people are saved during the

[7:27] tribulation period

[7:29] now what people are saved those that

[7:31] have never

[7:32] heard a clear presentation of the gospel

[7:36] those that have never heard or never

[7:37] understood a presentation of the gospel

[7:39] will have opportunity

[7:41] to be saved during the tribulation

[7:43] period but those of us who

[7:46] may have heard the gospel but chose to

[7:49] reject god and reject the gospel of

[7:52] jesus christ

[7:53] the bible says that god will send strong

[7:55] delusions that they will believe a lie

[7:58] in other words if you're banking on well

[8:00] after the rapture happens

[8:02] then i'll get saved and you already know

[8:04] that you should be saved you already

[8:06] know the gospel the bible says

[8:08] you're not going to have another

[8:09] opportunity that strong delusion you're

[8:12] going to believe the lie

[8:14] so if you reject jesus today and say

[8:16] well after the rapture happens

[8:18] then i'll believe it will be too late i

[8:20] know there's a popular book series

[8:22] called left behind

[8:24] that talks about that and gives hope for

[8:26] that area but if you've never heard the

[8:28] gospel

[8:29] my friend you have opportunity to be

[8:31] saved during the tribulation period

[8:33] but if you've heard the gospel and

[8:34] you've rejected jesus christ

[8:37] you will not have opportunity to be

[8:39] saved during the tribulation period

[8:41] that's why it's so needful for us as

[8:43] christians to share the gospel with

[8:46] everyone

[8:47] and to preach the gospel and to pass out

[8:49] tracts and to be a witness to this world

[8:51] because we want all men to be saved just

[8:53] as jesus said and come unto the

[8:55] knowledge of the truth

[8:57] but here they that dwell on the earth

[8:59] shall worship him he makes war with the

[9:01] saints

[9:02] first in verse seven to overcome them

[9:05] now we know what happens is that he's

[9:08] given

[9:08] power he doesn't have the power he's

[9:10] given power

[9:11] satan gives him power but satan's power

[9:14] is limited because he has limited power

[9:16] that god has allowed him to have but the

[9:19] saints many of the saints those that are

[9:21] saved during the tribulation

[9:22] period will be martyred we've already

[9:24] talked about that in previous videos

[9:26] but the tribulation saints many of them

[9:29] will be

[9:30] martyred for their faith because they

[9:32] accept jesus christ

[9:34] because they believe him to be the

[9:35] messiah the antichrist is going to

[9:38] murder them

[9:39] murder them kill them because of their

[9:42] belief

[9:42] in jesus christ he says and all that

[9:45] dwell upon the earth shall worship him

[9:47] whose names are not written in the book

[9:50] of life of the lamb slain from the

[9:52] foundation of the world

[9:54] so those that have not accepted jesus

[9:57] christ are going to bow down and worship

[10:00] the antichrist and they're going to

[10:02] serve him

[10:03] and to worship him and to follow after

[10:06] his plan and verse 9 it says if any man

[10:09] have an ear let him hear and he begins

[10:11] to

[10:12] use those phrases to help people to pay

[10:15] attention

[10:16] listen to what's happening here so in

[10:19] revelation 13 these first

[10:21] 10 verses we find the revealing of

[10:24] antichrist

[10:26] the man and his actions upon the earth

[10:29] his rise out of the sea of humanity his

[10:32] empowerment by the dragon this beast who

[10:36] will have a head wound and would be

[10:37] healed from it

[10:39] this beast who speaks great things and

[10:42] blasphemies against god

[10:43] and proclaims himself to be god and

[10:47] we know that they worship not only to

[10:49] him the beast but also

[10:51] satan openly openly worshipping satan

[10:55] during the tribulation period

[10:57] now it's a sad sad time

[11:02] and it's difficult to see

[11:06] that the antichrist will have such

[11:08] influence and sway

[11:10] over people i just heard today

[11:13] of a representative in our congress

[11:17] who was talking about the gender

[11:20] identity

[11:21] of people and he said that god had made

[11:25] people in the image of god and that he

[11:28] made them male and female and

[11:30] a nation that rejects that is in

[11:32] rebellion against god

[11:34] and a congressman on the other side said

[11:36] it doesn't matter what god's will

[11:38] is this body is not concerned with

[11:41] god's will and how sad that god's will

[11:45] was to make him male and female and this

[11:47] representative of our country who's an

[11:50] elected official

[11:51] says it doesn't matter what god's will

[11:53] is we're gonna do

[11:55] what we want to do how sad

[11:58] but that's gonna happen during the

[11:59] tribulation period they're gonna reject

[12:01] god

[12:02] and do it their own way and our nation

[12:04] is heading that way even now

[12:06] so you ought to pray for our land but

[12:09] remember

[12:10] until the rapture happens there's still

[12:12] hope

[12:13] for people to be saved and even during

[12:15] the tribulation period god's still going

[12:18] to be working

[12:19] and there's still opportunity for god to

[12:21] be

[12:22] working in people's lives and people to

[12:24] be saved

[12:25] so chapter 13 reveals the beast but

[12:28] remember he's a defeated foe

[12:31] he's only got three and a half years of

[12:33] power

[12:34] and then he's going to face the great

[12:36] king jesus christ

[12:38] who's going to wipe him out who's going

[12:40] to defeat him

[12:41] and he's going to be cast forever into

[12:44] the lake of the

[12:45] lake of fire the antichrist is a loser

[12:48] he's a defeated foe and he will not win

[12:51] the victory he'll win a few battles

[12:53] on earth during the tribulation period

[12:55] but his time is going to come

[12:58] to an end remember this week jesus

[13:01] is on the throne and eventually he'll be

[13:04] on the throne here on

[13:06] earth he will rule and reign

[13:09] for a thousand years but until the

[13:11] rapture happens

[13:13] keep being faithful to the lord thanks
