[0:52] good evening we've come here because no
[0:55] Community has seen more destruction from
[0:58] Hurricane Sandy than this this entire
[1:00] neighborhood in the New York City
[1:02] borough of Queens
[1:03] 111 homes was destroyed by fire the
[1:07] night the storm hit we'll have more on
[1:09] this in just a moment but first let us
[1:11] give you the big picture on the
[1:13] aftermath of Sandy nearly 6 million
[1:16] homes and businesses in 13 states are
[1:19] still without electricity tonight at
[1:21] least 68 deaths are blamed on the Storm
[1:23] insurance companies tell us that well
[1:26] over 34 000 homeowners have put in
[1:29] claims for damage or destruction
[1:32] in New York City the Sun finally came
[1:34] out today along with the first sounds of
[1:37] recovery
[1:39] the stock market opened for the first
[1:41] time this week buses are back and there
[1:45] could be some subway service tomorrow
[1:47] the biggest challenge remains pumping
[1:49] flood waters out of tunnels the U.S
