[0:28] PanAm flight to New York how many were
[0:30] killed on the plane and on the ground is
[0:33] impossible to determine in the Heat and
[0:35] confusion of the crash

[0:50] in Frankfurt West Germany after a
[0:52] stopover at Heathrow Airport near London
[0:54] Pam's 103 flight plan had the 747
[0:57] heading for New York's Kennedy Airport
[0:59] then winding up in Detroit the flight
[1:02] took off from Heathrow at 2:35 this
[1:04] afternoon eastern US time northward
[1:07] toward Scotland less than 1 hour later
[1:10] flight 103 vanished from the radar
[1:12] screens and fell from the nighttime sky
[1:14] over the village of lockery the giant
[1:16] aircraft with its holiday Travelers
[1:18] apparently crashed directly into a gas
[1:20] station an eyewitness said the resulting
[1:22] tremendous explosion covered lockerby
[1:25] with liquid
