[0:02] Aaron, we end our coverage from
[0:03] Galveston tonight on the seaw wall built
[0:05] after the 1900 hurricane hit. Let's hope
[0:07] this old wall, 105 years old, helps the
[0:10] people tomorrow when this storm hits.
[0:12] >> Well, here's the plan. We'll uh you and
[0:14] I will start at 10 and we'll just kind
[0:16] of keep going for as long as we can keep
[0:18] going tomorrow. The storm expected to
[0:21] come ashore in the early morning hours,
[0:23] early uh Saturday morning, Friday night.
[0:27] And um you will find a spot, we hope,
[0:30] where you can safely talk about it.
[0:33] >> Let's hope.
[0:34] >> Sounds good to me. Our coverage

[0:44] >> Hello everyone, I'm Katherine Callaway.

[1:07] traveling just 45 miles in 12 hours.
[1:12] They are moving at a snail's pace. Some
[1:14] 2 million people expected to leave parts
[1:16] of Texas and Louisiana trying to get out
[1:18] ahead of Hurricane Rita. Let's go right
[1:20] to Bonnie Schneider. She's in the
[1:22] weather center. Bonnie, a lot of concern
[1:24] about uh how fast this storm's going to
[1:25] move in, when we're going to start
[1:26] seeing effects, the rain, the high wind.
[1:28] We know the airports in Houston are
[1:30] closing at noon tomorrow. Well, it looks
