[0:00] good morning Bible Baptist Church family

[0:03] and those that are watching online it is

[0:05] Friday

[0:06] you've come to Friday some of you this

[0:09] is the end of the workweek for you but I

[0:11] wanted to give you a word of

[0:13] encouragement today we're happy that you

[0:15] checked in with us online today our word

[0:17] of encouragement comes from Psalm 91 and

[0:19] so today why don't you grab your Bible

[0:22] or your Bible app and turn to Psalm 91 I

[0:25] wait are you there yet wait wait I hear

[0:31] still here pages turning hang on alright

[0:34] there we are

[0:35] Psalm 91 this morning the Bible says in

[0:38] verse number one he that dwelleth in the

[0:40] secret place of the Most High shall

[0:43] abide under the shadow of the Almighty I

[0:46] will say of the Lord he is my refuge and

[0:50] my fortress my god in him will I trust

[0:55] those two verses there are encouraging

[0:58] if you're a child of God and I prayed

[1:00] today as you're watching this video you

[1:02] are a child of God you know that Jesus

[1:04] Christ has forgiven your sins and you've

[1:07] accepted him as your personal Savior if

[1:10] you don't know that today you can the

[1:12] Bible tells us that whosoever shall call

[1:14] upon the name of the Lord shall be saved

[1:16] if the Holy Spirit is convicting your

[1:19] heart right now letting you know that

[1:21] you're a sinner and you need to save her

[1:22] the Bible says you can call upon Jesus

[1:25] to save you today if you have any

[1:27] questions about that feel free to leave

[1:29] your name in the comments below and

[1:30] we'll get right back with you but those

[1:32] of you that are saved we have the

[1:34] comfort of knowing that we can dwell in

[1:37] the secret place of the Most High but

[1:40] you notice that means that we've got to

[1:42] stay close to him it says in the latter

[1:44] part of that verse shall abide under the

[1:46] shadow if you're going to be under the

[1:48] shadow you've got to be close to the

[1:51] person and so I want to encourage you

[1:54] today don't drift from the Lord don't

[1:57] move away from the Lord with all that's

[1:59] going on in our life how are you tempted

[2:01] to get on your phone and look up the

[2:03] news more often than getting into the

[2:05] Word of God are you tempted to stay

[2:08] updated on the newest updates of the

[2:10] coronavirus but you've forgotten the

[2:13] update you're

[2:14] faith with the Word of God let me

[2:17] encourage you today it says that those

[2:19] of us that know the Lord weekend dwell

[2:20] in the secret place of the Most High we

[2:23] can abide under the shadow of the

[2:24] Almighty and verse 2 it says I will say

[2:28] the Lord he is my refuge and my fortress

[2:30] he's a protector he's a refuge he's a

[2:34] fortress a shelter in the time of storm

[2:37] the songwriter said it the Lord's my

[2:40] rock in him I hide a shelter in the time

[2:43] of storm yes we live in interesting days

[2:47] to say the least

[2:48] but the Lord is our refuge in our

[2:50] strength he's our fortress

[2:52] he's my gun I have that personal

[2:55] relationship with him I hope you talked

[2:57] to him today I hope before you turned on

[3:00] this video you opened up the Word of God

[3:02] on your own time and read from the Bible

[3:05] today I hope you talked to him in prayer

[3:07] today and asked him to help guide your

[3:11] steps today you know we've talked about

[3:13] this before here in our church a good

[3:16] formula for your prayer life as the

[3:18] letter C ATS confession adoration

[3:22] Thanksgiving and supplication confession

[3:26] making your sins known to God asking God

[3:28] to forgive you of your sins

[3:30] adoration thanking God for who he is and

[3:33] what he's done in your life Thanksgiving

[3:36] thanking God for the things that he's

[3:38] done that he woke you up this morning

[3:40] that you had a bed to sleep in that he

[3:43] gave you breath to breathe you ought to

[3:45] thank God and then s his supplication

[3:47] making your requests known unto Him I

[3:50] have a feeling as it is in my own life

[3:52] after the confession the adoration and

[3:55] Thanksgiving some of my requests I don't

[3:58] feel as are important when it comes into

[4:00] my prayer life but I would encourage you

[4:03] today he is your refuge he is your

[4:06] fortress if you have a personal

[4:08] relationship with him sometimes as a

[4:11] child of God we allow sin to come into

[4:14] our life and it puts a wedge between us

[4:16] and God and God wants us to have

[4:19] fellowship with him God doesn't want to

[4:21] leave you on a forsaken Island God wants

[4:24] to have a personal relationship with you

[4:26] in when God created

[4:28] mankind in the Garden of Eden he came

[4:30] and walked with him in the garden every

[4:32] evening why cuz he wanted to fellowship

[4:35] with him he wants to fellowship with you

[4:37] but have you moved out from the shelter

[4:40] of the Almighty have you placed yourself

[4:42] out from under his shadow well that

[4:45] happens when you allow sin in your life

[4:46] and maybe right now you're at a place

[4:50] where you feel like the storm is just

[4:52] pouring in on you we've had some rain

[4:55] over the last few weeks and it is that

[4:58] times been very heavy and if you've ever

[5:00] gone out without an umbrella sometimes

[5:03] the rain can just be pelting on you here

[5:06] in Oklahoma sometimes it's range

[5:07] sometimes it's hail sometimes it's even

[5:10] other things a tornado or something like

[5:12] that but to be out in the storm without

[5:15] shelter is always a dangerous place to

[5:18] be when the storms of life come when

[5:20] it's tornado season in Oklahoma once it

[5:23] comes across the screen seek shelter now

[5:26] get in you're sheltered spot well in the

[5:30] storms of life in the situation's you

[5:32] and I are facing seek shelter and our

[5:36] shelter is in the secret place of the

[5:37] Most High

[5:38] we can abide there under the shadow of

[5:41] the Almighty you'll notice there he says

[5:44] he dwelleth and then he abideth he

[5:45] states in the dwelling place of the Most

[5:49] High he stays under the shadow of the

[5:52] Almighty and I hope and pray today that

[5:56] if you're doing that verse to the end of

[5:59] that verse we'll come very easily for

[6:01] you in him will I trust if you're

[6:07] abiding with the Lord if you're having a

[6:09] personal time with him you can trust God

[6:12] but how difficult it gets when we get

[6:15] away from him to fully trust him for all

[6:19] that he's doing for us to fully trust

[6:21] him in the storm I pray today that

[6:24] you'll abide under the shadow of the

[6:26] Almighty one of the things we'd like to

[6:28] do today over the last few days we talk

[6:30] first about five things to be thankful

[6:32] for yesterday we talked about our cares

[6:35] and our anxieties and our fears that we

[6:37] have and casting them at Jesus feet well

[6:40] today

[6:41] what's a song that means a lot to you

[6:45] now I'm not asking about a worldly song

[6:48] so don't be putting some worldly song in

[6:50] the comments below but a song from

[6:53] Christian singing that means something

[6:56] to you I think the world needs to hear

[6:59] from Christians songs that are

[7:01] spiritually speaking and ministering to

[7:03] our heart so today in the comments below

[7:06] not only share this video but list a

[7:09] song now for those of you who know how

[7:12] share a video of that song if you know

[7:14] where you can and find a place to share

[7:17] that online so that people can

[7:19] understand that the music of God's

[7:22] people ministers not only to our ear but

[7:26] more importantly to our heart so I

[7:29] encourage you to share that today maybe

[7:31] there's a song that has a special

[7:33] meaning in your heart and it's an

[7:35] encouragement to your life today would

[7:37] you please share that with someone put

[7:40] it online share that and we look forward

[7:42] to tomorrow now I also want to tell you

[7:45] that we're got some exciting things

[7:47] coming up next week even some guest

[7:49] speakers that we'll be having on our

[7:51] word of encouragement but today let's

[7:54] share the songs of our heart that mean

[7:56] our blessing to us and let's continue to

[7:59] abide under the shadow of the Almighty

[8:02] again if there's something we can pray

[8:04] for you about or a request that you have

[8:06] that you're needing supplies or

[8:08] something like that please message us in

[8:11] our comments or even send it to our

[8:12] facebook Messenger app and we'll be

[8:15] happy to answer that to the best of our

[8:17] abilities thank you for tuning in this

[8:19] morning and have a great Friday and Lord

[8:22] willing we'll see you Sunday morning

[8:23] bye-bye
