[1:12] was acquitted of murder charges in the
[1:15] trial of the century today the question
[1:17] was whether Simpson would be granted
[1:19] parole after serving nine years in a
[1:22] Nevada prison in an unrelated case an
[1:24] armed robbery in Las Vegas here's John
[1:27] Blackstone with the verdict that Mr
[1:30] Simpson I do vote to Grant parole when
[1:34] eligible and that will conclude this
[1:36] hearing thank you his relief was obvious
[1:40] OJ Simpson now 70 years old would soon
[1:42] be free on parole it was a serious crime
[1:46] and there was no excuse for it the
[1:48] hearing via video conference lasted more
[1:50] than an hour as Commissioners asked
