[1:15] foreign relations chair Jesse Helms, who

[1:17] says he'll block her appointment till he

[1:19] investigates ethical charges against her

[1:21] and until she apologizes to the

[1:23] Daughters of the Confederacy for

[1:25] successfully opposing their Confederate

[1:27] flag emblem. Firing from the left,

[1:30] double barrels. The White House accusing

[1:32] Republicans in Congress of new

[1:34] isolationism. And Senate Minority Leader

[1:36] Tom Dashel charging Republicans show

[1:39] little sensitivity when it comes to

[1:41] racial minorities. So, it's a battle

[1:43] with many dimensions
