[0:00] ing with all of us in local offices

[0:02] across America are committed to one

[0:05] goal, helping you, the individual

[0:08] investor, succeed in every way we can.

[0:11] And you know, I'll stake my name on

[0:13] that.

[0:19] This is Betty. Betty knows flowers and

[0:22] Betty knows that FTD helps keep her

[0:24] business flowing.

[0:27] Betty doesn't know that the Sprint

[0:28] network connects FTD to 52,000 florists

[0:31] in 154 countries.

[0:34] Betty and florists around the world may

[0:36] never know about Sprint because their

[0:37] business is flowers. With Sprint, that

[0:40] business is global, connected,

[0:43] beautiful.

[0:59] GOTCHA. THAT WAS A GOOD ONE, HONEY. DID

[1:01] YOU GET IT?

[1:02] >> GOT IT.

[1:06] island? Check your mail for the Capital

[1:08] One No Hassle Island Giveaway. You could

[1:10] instantly win your own island for one of

[1:12] hundreds of island getaways. What's in

[1:15] your box?

[1:18] So,

[1:20] what's the weekend hold in store for

[1:22] you? Ask your doctor if a free sample of

[1:25] prescription seialis is right for you.

[1:28] Seialis,

[1:30] are you ready?

[1:33] We know that Senot with its natural

[1:35] vegetable laxative ingredient has been

[1:37] hard to find. Well, your wait is over.

[1:40] Senicott with the laxative ingredient

[1:42] proven to be effective in 50 clinical

[1:44] studies. Now in stores everywhere.

[1:48] >> Finally today, you do you know what no

[1:51] one talks about at World Series time? My

[1:53] baseball career, which is

[1:55] understandable, I suppose. The closest I

[1:57] came to being part of the long history

[1:59] of the game was when the nephew of the

[2:02] great Dizzy Dean hit me in the eye when

[2:05] he was a curveball ace of the SMU

[2:07] freshman team and I was a sore armed

[2:10] catcher for the TCU club. That ended my

[2:13] hopeless quest to be a major league ball

[2:15] player, but couldn't cool a love of the

[2:16] game that taught me more about life than

[2:19] any book I ever read. But then these Red

[2:22] Sox showed up and made me wonder about

[2:24] one lesson the coaches always harped on.

[2:26] Show up in a clean uniform and look

[2:29] sharp. It shows respect for the game.

[2:31] And besides, if you look like a ball

[2:33] player, the other team might think

[2:34] you're better than you really are. Tell

[2:37] that to this lovable group of Red Sox

[2:39] wack jobs with their mountain man hair,

[2:42] white guys with cornrows, and the

[2:44] mangiest collections of beards since the

[2:47] last parting of the Red Sea by Cesby

[2:49] Deill. These guys wear the uniform like

[2:51] they're heading out to trickor treat.

[2:53] Are they trying to scare the other team?

[2:55] I keep thinking of the Red Sox, this

[2:58] wildly different group of individuals

[3:00] who become a real team. When I look at

[3:03] our politicians who've been reduced to

[3:05] pablum spouting lookalikes by media

[3:08] coaches who've taught them to stay on

[3:10] message and at all cost avoid any

[3:13] spontaneity. I still like candidates who

[3:15] go to the barber shop. Of course, it's

[3:17] good for the local economy. But wouldn't

[3:19] it be great if just once in a while

[3:21] candidates let it all hang out and had a

[3:23] little fun like the Red Sox do? It might

[3:26] be good politics. Might even scare the

[3:28] other side. He's sure working for the

[3:30] Red Sox. That's it for us. We'll see you

[3:33] next week right here on Face the Nation.

[3:43] There's a place for us

[3:50] somewhere a place for us.

[3:55] Peace and quiet and all.

[3:58] >> For those in the academic, medical and

[4:00] cultural fields whose work serves the

[4:02] greater good, we serve you. TIA CF

[4:06] financial services for the greater good.

[4:09] Of

[4:10] course, everyone has the right to be

[4:12] published, but the odds are against you.

[4:15] Why? Money. A publisher must commit

[4:19] thousands of dollars for an initial

[4:21] >> uh That's not exactly true. With on

[4:24] demand publishing technology,

[4:26] everything's digitized. People can even

[4:27] print one book at a time and forget

[4:29] warehousing. So now everyone here can

[4:31] get published.

[4:39] Come on. Come on.
