[1:41] 89 verse number one Psalm 89 verse

[1:46] number one and we're going to read it

[1:47] together this morning from Psalm 89

[1:50] verse number one the Bible says I will

[1:53] sing of the mercies of the Lord

[1:57] forever with my mouth will I make known

[2:01] Thy Faithfulness to all generations we

[2:05] ought to do that he is worthy to be

[2:08] praised aren't you thankful that God has

[2:10] done a work in your life and his grace

[2:14] is sufficient in our time of need so

[2:15] let's go to the Lord in prayer this

[2:17] morning and then we're going to remain

[2:18] standing for congregational singing

[2:20] today let's go to the Lord in prayer

[2:22] dear heavenly father Lord we're thankful

[2:24] for the opportunity to come into your

[2:26] house and sing praise to you Lord I pray

[2:29] today that you would do all that you can

[2:31] to be honored and glorified here in this

[2:34] place Lord I pray you'd help us to make

[2:36] you the preeminent one today Lord we're

[2:39] thankful for how you've saved our lives

[2:41] and changed our lives Lord I pray that

[2:43] you'd help us today to bring honor to

[6:07] losing but God wants to let you know his

[6:10] grace is greater it's Untold and it will

[6:14] point you to The Refuge where you can

[6:16] take shelter from those sea waves cold

[6:19] The Refuge of the mighty cross yes and

[6:23] then on verse number three dark is the

[6:24] stain that we cannot hide and some of us

[6:27] are still trying to hide stains that we

[6:28] haven't gotten right

[6:31] what can Avail to take those stains

[6:34] away how can we hide it

[6:37] permanently look there is Flowing a

[6:41] Crimson Tide from that Mighty cross

[6:44] wider than snow you may be today so if

[6:46] you're burdened if you're overwhelmed if

[6:48] you're lost and you need a savior

[6:50] today's the day God's grace is here for

[6:52] you that's right and it's abundant more

[6:55] than what you could possibly use so

[16:40] missions conference from this past week

[16:42] with brother Turner and he sent a card

[16:45] thanking you for uh all the time he had

[16:47] with us this week and which appreciate

[16:49] that he did make it to Pensacola on time

[16:52] and he made it back home late last night

[16:54] uh back to Indiana and so he had a good

[16:57] traveling so thank you for praying for

[16:59] him those who prayed for him Mark 4

[17:02] we're going to begin reading in verses

[17:04] 1-9 and then we'll dive down later on

[17:07] into the rest of the chapter and the

[17:09] word of God needs to go out amen and

[17:12] that's the key for the the world that we

[17:14] live in the word of God is what's going

[17:16] to make the difference and so Mark

[17:17] chapter 4 if you're able would you

[17:18] please stand and honor the word of God

[17:21] we're going to read verses

[17:22] 1-9 then we'll have a word of prayer and

[17:25] then we'll dive into the message this

[17:26] morning Mark 4: number one and he began

[17:29] again to teach by the seaside and there

[17:32] was gathered unto him a great multitude

[17:35] so that he entered into a ship and sat

[17:37] in the sea the whole multitude was by

[17:40] the Sea on the land and he taught them

[17:42] many things by Parables and said unto

[17:45] them in his Doctrine hearken behold

[17:48] there went out a swer to sew and it came

[17:52] to pass as he swed some fell by the

[17:54] wayside the fouls of the air came and

[17:56] devoured it up and some fell on Stony

[17:59] ground where it had not much Earth and

[18:02] immediately it sprang up because it had

[18:04] no depth of Earth but when the sun was

[18:07] up it was scorched because it had no

[18:10] root it withered away and some fell

[18:13] among the thorns and the Thorns grew up

[18:16] and choked it and it yielded no fruit

[18:19] the other fell on good ground and did

[18:21] yield fruit that sprang up and increased

[18:24] and brought forth some 30 and some 60

[18:27] and some 100 and he said unto them he

[18:30] that hath ears to hear Let Him hear so

[18:34] Jesus begins teaching a parable of the S

[18:38] and one of the amazing things about

[18:39] Parables is that sometimes in scripture

[18:42] he tells you what the parable means and

[18:44] other times he doesn't give a clear

[18:47] definition but the parable of the se he

[18:49] does that and we'll look at that here in

[18:51] just a minute in the next few verses but

[18:54] this morning we ought to remember this

[18:56] that no matter how Wicked the world get

[18:58] gets the word of God needs to go out and

[19:02] so this morning with God's help we're

[19:03] going to preach on the word of God being

[19:06] planted in the hearts of people so let's

[19:08] go Lord in prayer this morning de

[19:10] Heavenly Father Lord I Thank you for the

[19:12] opportunity to preach today Lord I pray

[19:14] if you would please cleanse me of sin

[19:16] Empty Me of myself that I might get out

[19:18] of the way this morning and your word

[19:20] may go forth Lord I pray today that you

[19:23] would help us this morning to hear the

[19:26] preaching of the word that the the word

[19:29] of God would take root in the hearts of

[19:31] hearers and that it would not just be

[19:34] heard today but it also would be a doer

[19:36] of the word also Lord I pray that you'd

[19:39] remove me out of the picture and that it

[19:42] just be the word of God that penetrates

[19:44] hearts Lord help us today in your name I

[19:46] pray amen you may be seated thank you

[19:49] for standing

[19:51] today so sometimes when you have those

[19:54] Parables as we mentioned earlier you

[19:56] want to know what's it talking about

[19:59] well Jesus explains it for us and he

[20:00] begins in verse number 14 with his

[20:04] explanation of what the parable is

[20:06] talking about verse number 14 the swer

[20:10] Seth the word so the seed is the word

[20:16] the word of God is the seed that needs

[20:18] to go out so a swer during that time

[20:20] would take a bag of seed and he'd go out

[20:23] in the field and he'd reach in his bag

[20:24] and he'd just cast the seed all over the

[20:27] field just cast it out sewing in the

[20:30] seed more of the word more of the word

[20:34] more of the word what does this world

[20:36] need more of the word more of the word

[20:38] what do we as Believers need more of the

[20:41] word more of the word more of the word

[20:43] so that's all that they did they just

[20:44] cast out the

[20:45] seed and sometimes the seed germinated

[20:49] and took

[20:51] root sometimes it got snatched up and

[20:54] we'll talk about that in the previous in

[20:56] the next few verses but the word word of

[20:59] the the seed so the wordage needs to go

[21:01] out needs to be swn all over the place

[21:06] the word has no

[21:08] problem the word of God has no problem

[21:11] it's powerful the word of God does not

[21:14] return void you say well sometimes it

[21:16] doesn't take root well that's because it

[21:18] gets snatched

[21:19] away but it still is good every time

[21:23] that the word of God goes out it's good

[21:25] for us every time the word of God is put

[21:27] into our lives it's good for us every

[21:30] time every time I read the word of God

[21:32] it's good for me every time you read the

[21:35] word of God it's good for

[21:40] you every time you read the word of God

[21:43] it's good for you it

[21:45] is sometimes it's

[21:48] convicting sometimes it's

[21:51] challenging sometimes we don't like

[21:53] it sometimes it's

[21:55] encouraging sometimes it's helpful but

[21:58] the word of God is what needs to be

[22:00] given out so the so the seed is the word

[22:04] look at verse

[22:05] 15 and these are they by the

[22:10] wayside so the Wayside seed the seed

[22:14] that falls on the Wayside it's not

[22:15] talking about

[22:17] ground did you notice he's not saying

[22:20] the Wayside ground he said it's a they

[22:24] it's

[22:25] people people have hearts that the word

[22:28] of God is trying to

[22:30] penetrate and so he begins in verse 15

[22:33] these are they by the wayside where the

[22:36] word is

[22:38] sown but when they have heard Satan

[22:41] cometh what's the next word there

[22:43] church immediately yeah he does it's a

[22:47] sad thing that what the devil does is he

[22:50] tries to snatch it up before it can take

[22:52] root The Prince and powerered the air is

[22:55] at work with all his power to keep the

[22:58] word of God from penetrating the hearts

[23:02] the Wayside was a traveled ground it was

[23:04] a hardened ground it was where the

[23:06] people walked all the time there was a

[23:08] lot of things there the Wayside ground

[23:11] he talks about it here Satan

[23:14] immediately taketh

[23:16] away this world needs the word of God

[23:20] because you can't faith comes by hearing

[23:22] and hearing by the word of God so the

[23:25] word of God needs to penetrate people's

[23:27] hearts so that they can number one be

[23:29] saved you can't get saved if you haven't

[23:32] heard the

[23:33] word the word of God is what convicts us

[23:36] through the power of the Holy Spirit and

[23:37] so the word must go out and the word has

[23:41] no problem God's word is perfect God's

[23:44] word is powerful God's word is

[23:46] lifechanging and so he sends it out and

[23:48] what would happen is Satan's forces

[23:50] would snatch it up they didn't want

[23:53] people to hear it they didn't want

[23:55] people to be

[23:57] saved we know the last days and the last

[24:00] days it's going to get worse and worse

[24:01] and we're

[24:02] there Satan's forces are at work trying

[24:05] to snatch up the word of God from

[24:07] sinking into people's hearts and the the

[24:10] devil's forces are are at work so we

[24:12] find the the Wayside they heard it but

[24:16] Satan snatched it

[24:18] up he snatched it up you ever had

[24:21] conversations with people that work

[24:22] about the gospel tried to share with

[24:25] them the word of God and then later on

[24:27] in the conversation

[24:29] and got snatched up you can see it on

[24:31] their face they didn't get

[24:33] it they missed it they didn't catch

[24:36] it but you know what you got to do you

[24:38] got to keep sewing the word keep putting

[24:41] it out keep passing it out passing out

[24:44] tracks we're out on visitation yesterday

[24:46] putting out flyers for family friend day

[24:48] putting out door hangers got a lot

[24:49] accomplished yesterday you know had

[24:51] Folks at it throughout the morning and

[24:54] then some even we still at it in the

[24:55] afternoon we're just out passing out

[24:57] tracks and people to church putting out

[24:59] the word of God you got to seow the word

[25:01] the word of God's got to go

[25:03] out and so we we we have to to do that

[25:06] but Satan wants to snatch it up steal it

[25:09] away so notice in verse 15 these are

[25:13] they that are by the wayside where the

[25:15] word is sown but when they have heard

[25:18] Satan cometh immediately and taketh away

[25:20] the word that was sown in their hearts

[25:22] look at verse 16 these are they likewise

[25:26] which are sown on the Stony ground

[25:29] who when they have heard the word

[25:31] immediately received it with

[25:35] gladness so the Stony ground folks their

[25:39] hearts the Stony ground hearts are they

[25:41] received the word with gladness when

[25:43] they first heard it they were glad about

[25:45] it they were excited about it it took

[25:48] root in their heart and they received it

[25:50] with gladness and

[25:52] woo that's all they got

[25:56] woo now

[25:58] when I was younger and before I had

[26:00] spinal surgery I used to enjoy riding

[26:02] roller

[26:03] coasters they were fun to ride now

[26:06] there's a whole list of things that say

[26:07] if you have any of this this this this

[26:08] this or this or this or this then you're

[26:10] not allowed to ride the ride and I have

[26:12] some of the thises so I can't ride the

[26:15] ride you know what's frustrating

[26:18] sometimes you'd wait four hours in a

[26:22] line for a two-minute

[26:25] ride you go down the hill woo it's all

[26:30] done so like that's why I buy the fast

[26:32] pass to get me to the front of the

[26:34] line and everybody else just stares at

[26:36] you as you go by it's not

[26:39] fair but some people en enjoy those

[26:43] excited rides and sometimes the Stony

[26:45] ground they received it but no roots

[26:48] look at the

[26:49] text what the text says about them verse

[26:52] 16 these are likewise which are swn on

[26:54] the Stony ground who when they had heard

[26:56] the word immediately received it with

[26:58] gladness and have no root in

[27:02] themselves so they received it with

[27:05] gladness and then it didn't take

[27:09] root and didn't sink into their hearts

[27:13] and get rooted in their

[27:14] hearts so what

[27:16] happened well the Bible tells

[27:19] us verse 17 they have no root in

[27:22] themselves and so endure but for a Time

[27:28] they're excited for a period of

[27:31] time but then something happens verse 17

[27:36] when Affliction or persecution ariseth

[27:39] for the word's sake immediately they are

[27:45] offended so no roots short-term

[27:50] growth persecution and affliction arises

[27:53] for the word's sake and immediately they

[27:55] are offended now I want you to notice

[27:56] it's because the word sake

[28:01] s the sake of the word the ministry of

[28:04] the word of God that's what offends them

[28:06] the difficulty in being a Christian

[28:08] offends them not other people but the

[28:12] difficulty in the Christian

[28:15] life so they are offended they are have

[28:19] no root in

[28:22] themselves their hearts are

[28:26] Stony Verse 18

[28:29] these are they which are swn among the

[28:32] Thorns such as hear the

[28:35] word and the cares of this

[28:38] world and the deceitfulness of

[28:41] riches and the lust of other things

[28:45] entering in choke the word and it

[28:49] becometh

[28:51] unfruitful thorny Hearts they hear the

[28:55] word just like the Wayside

[28:59] just like the Stony ground they heard

[29:03] it but outside

[29:06] elements choke the

[29:08] word look what it says in verse 19 the

[29:11] cares of this

[29:14] world life is difficult life is hard the

[29:18] cares of this world if we're not careful

[29:20] will choke out the word in your

[29:24] life notice it goes on that

[29:28] deceitfulness of

[29:31] riches and we get so focused on the

[29:33] riches of this world that we miss the

[29:35] richness of the word of God it chokes it

[29:40] out chokes it

[29:43] out notice what else it says and the

[29:46] lust of other

[29:48] things entering in the Bible sometimes

[29:51] is so specific and other times the lust

[29:55] of other things well what could that be

[29:57] well you know what what it

[29:59] is you know what you lust after that

[30:01] chokes out the

[30:03] word lust of other

[30:06] things so it chokes out the

[30:09] word then it continues on in verse

[30:12] 18 and it

[30:14] becometh unfruitful the word becomes

[30:18] unfruitful in their lives because it's

[30:22] choked out by other things

[30:29] wow verse

[30:32] 20 these are

[30:34] they which are sown on good ground such

[30:38] as hear the word and receive

[30:42] it and bring forth fruit some 30 fold

[30:47] some 60 and some

[30:50] 100 good ground Hearts they hear the

[30:54] word and receive

[30:56] it so they don't just hear it and

[30:58] receive it they produce

[31:01] fruit now some produce 30 fold some 60

[31:05] fold some 100 fold but they all produce

[31:09] fruit why is it because they bring forth

[31:12] fruit because the word has taken root in

[31:15] their life and the word of God produces

[31:19] fruit in their life that's what the word

[31:21] does in our lives the word of God does a

[31:24] work in our lives and it produces fruit

[31:27] in our Liv life now the amazing thing

[31:30] about this passage of scripture this

[31:32] Parable is it's not talking solely about

[31:36] unsaved

[31:41] people it's talking about us as

[31:44] Believers the amazing thing about

[31:47] Believers is sometimes sometimes we

[31:51] change what type of heart we

[31:54] have sometimes we start off as good

[31:57] ground

[31:58] and then things happen and we become

[32:00] another type of ground or or hallelujah

[32:03] hallelujah sometimes we can start off as

[32:05] another type of ground and become good

[32:08] ground because the word of God is what

[32:10] changes lives the word of God is what

[32:13] does a work in our lives and sometimes

[32:15] if we don't understand the importance of

[32:17] Walking with God and being in fellowship

[32:19] with him and letting the word of God

[32:21] flow in our lives we'll find ourselves

[32:24] battling the ground of our hearts

[32:30] the word must be

[32:35] sown now in our text we read

[32:38] it the word the seed is the

[32:43] word

[32:45] potential if I held in my hands a couple

[32:48] of apple

[32:50] seeds in my hand if I was holding apple

[32:53] seeds are great potential for apple

[32:56] trees

[32:58] which can produce much

[33:01] fruit but if the apple seeds stay in my

[33:05] hand and never get

[33:08] planted it is a waste of

[33:12] potential it has to be planted it has to

[33:15] be watered it has to be

[33:17] rooted now here's the amazing thing

[33:19] about the word of God it's the seed it

[33:21] has great potential but it's got to get

[33:24] planted in our

[33:25] heart so our hearts

[33:28] determine how effective sometimes the

[33:31] word of God can be in our

[33:35] lives you know what can

[33:38] happen know what can happen in our

[33:41] lives we can change our hearts

[33:45] ground circumstances of Life can do

[33:48] it pressures of

[33:51] Life Satan could come and snatch it

[33:55] away is just because you're a believer

[33:57] doesn't mean Satan wants to leave you

[34:00] alone in fact he even turns it up a

[34:02] notch because you are a

[34:05] Believer because Satan's

[34:08] afraid because first John 4 tells us

[34:11] greater is he that is in you than he

[34:13] that is in the

[34:15] world the Holy Spirit living inside you

[34:17] is stronger than any force that the

[34:20] devil can throw at you and the Holy

[34:22] Spirit convicts us you know sometimes in

[34:25] our life if we're not careful we need to

[34:27] let the you know when I when I was

[34:29] younger we used to have a garden and

[34:31] we'd have to uh even though we planted

[34:34] the garden every year you know what we

[34:36] had to do we had to get out the roota

[34:37] tiller how many of you know what a roota

[34:39] tiller is yeah you have to get that

[34:41] thing and you get a hold of it and you

[34:43] get in that

[34:44] [Music]

[34:47] garden and then my mom decided one year

[34:50] she wanted a bigger

[34:52] Garden we we had a little one little one

[34:55] is probably about 20 feet by about 25

[34:59] feet you know had some tomato plants my

[35:02] dad liked radishes so it had

[35:04] radishes had some other little things in

[35:07] it but my mom decided one year she

[35:08] wanted a big

[35:11] Garden one of the men in our church we

[35:13] were my dad was pastoring in the farming

[35:15] Community he said I'll come till you up

[35:17] a

[35:18] spot I was like Hallelujah somebody else

[35:21] is going to till it I don't have to use

[35:22] the roota

[35:23] tiller then I heard the noise coming

[35:26] over the hill

[35:28] it wasn't a

[35:29] rotater it was a full John Deere

[35:32] combine with a plow on the back you know

[35:36] what that thing did it went into the

[35:38] yard he dropped it down w w w and picked

[35:43] it up and left and now we had 150 foot

[35:48] by 75 foot three

[35:51] times three different sections like that

[35:58] and he did he was

[36:01] mean he didn't put it close to the house

[36:04] he put it from here to redland's

[36:06] baseball field away from the

[36:08] house and you know what there's no water

[36:11] out

[36:12] there so on hot days guess what we had

[36:16] to do we had to fill the five gallon

[36:18] bucket with water and walk all the way

[36:19] out there and when you're young you know

[36:21] what you end up with you end up with two

[36:23] and a half gallons of water by the time

[36:25] you get there

[36:28] but I remembered that plow coming

[36:30] through and it was tearing it up and as

[36:32] it went through one of the things I had

[36:34] to go do after that is I had to go in

[36:37] and get the rocks

[36:38] out cuz when it went through it

[36:41] discovered some things under the ground

[36:43] that we didn't know was there had to go

[36:45] in there and get some rocks out of the

[36:47] garden move them

[36:50] out know what needs to happen in our

[36:53] lives you say to God

[36:56] God my heart not right would you come

[36:59] plow it

[37:00] up would you come plow it up God would

[37:04] you make me good ground

[37:06] again CU we can get a place in our life

[37:09] where we're hardened to the things of

[37:12] God so he talks about the word must be

[37:16] sown as we think about

[37:19] missions there's still good ground out

[37:22] there there's still good ground there

[37:26] are still people I know the word world

[37:27] is wicked and the world is against the

[37:29] things of God and we live in a

[37:31] postchristian society here in America

[37:34] but there's still good ground out there

[37:37] and the word of God is still good seed

[37:39] we just need people to go sow the word

[37:42] sow the word seow the word seow the

[37:47] word so whether it's you physically

[37:49] going out and sewing the word are you

[37:52] being a part of the missions program of

[37:53] Bible Baptist Church and giving money

[37:55] financially so that the word can go out

[37:57] for foreign missions we got to seow the

[38:00] word we got to get the word of God out

[38:03] to this lost and dying

[38:06] world there's still good ground that

[38:10] needs the word to take

[38:12] root and we as Christians need to

[38:14] examine our hearts to see what kind of

[38:19] ground we

[38:21] are how about

[38:24] it when was the last time

[38:28] you examined your

[38:29] heart that's where the word of God's got

[38:31] to take root when's the last time you

[38:34] examine your heart to see if the word of

[38:37] God is taking root like it should in

[38:39] your

[38:41] life I have to do that in my own

[38:45] life if I'm not careful I can get

[38:48] calloused I can get

[38:51] hard oh you're a preacher you're not

[38:53] supposed to do that you're right I'm not

[38:54] supposed to do that not because I'm a

[38:56] preacher but because I'm a

[38:58] Christian all Christians should be

[39:00] careful to make sure our hearts are

[39:03] right and sometimes that's

[39:06] difficult we don't like letting God

[39:09] examine our hearts but we

[39:12] should should let God examine our hearts

[39:16] we as Christians need to examine our

[39:17] hearts to see what kind of ground we are

[39:21] the word needs to go

[39:22] out so what's in your

[39:25] gospel what's in your sewing the

[39:28] seed pouch that you walk

[39:32] with what are you what are you sharing

[39:34] with the

[39:37] world what' you share this

[39:40] week to the world you know your heart

[39:45] what' you share this

[39:47] week was it the word of God that came

[39:49] out of you was it something else hey hey

[39:53] we all can be guilty of that we all have

[39:55] to examine that

[39:57] what's going out what's going

[40:03] out sometimes it's it's good for us to

[40:07] consider this

[40:09] world and all the

[40:12] souls that are lost in

[40:15] sin that needs somebody to seow the

[40:19] word the word of God needs to go out

[40:22] somebody's got to spread it somebody's

[40:24] got to sew it

[40:27] are you sewing the

[40:30] word you should

[40:32] be are

[40:35] you maybe physical limitations have

[40:38] hindered you in sewing the word like you

[40:41] were able

[40:42] to last year I you know had to learn to

[40:45] walk all over again it hindered some of

[40:48] that in my own life kind of hard to go

[40:50] outdoor knocking when you can't

[40:56] walk I hated

[41:00] it and some days I I want to go and I

[41:03] have limited time I can go I've been out

[41:05] to a few doors and then just weakness

[41:08] had a opportunity to talk to a family

[41:10] yesterday thankful for

[41:12] that you got to sew the

[41:15] seed sew the

[41:17] seed go you into all the world and

[41:18] preach the gospel is to the church not

[41:22] just to the

[41:24] preacher thankful for those that came

[41:26] out went out and visited

[41:30] yesterday there's

[41:32] more seed to be swn more more word of

[41:35] God to go out more doors to knock more

[41:38] people to talk to about the Lord some of

[41:40] us physically it's

[41:42] difficult you know what we can do we can

[41:45] pray we can pray for those that go

[41:47] out we can pray that God will help them

[41:50] give them the

[41:51] strength we can pray for the

[41:53] opportunities that they

[41:56] have we can be involved in missions

[41:59] giving and helping the missions of the

[42:01] go the gospel go around the world help

[42:05] missionaries have that opportunity to

[42:08] get the gospel out so everybody ought to

[42:11] be a SE of the

[42:12] word everyone I'll be putting the word

[42:15] of God out

[42:17] everyone I know some of you do it at

[42:19] work you talk to people about the

[42:22] Lord talk to the young adults class

[42:24] today in in our Sunday school hour about

[42:27] being a Christian in the

[42:30] workforce and how if we're not careful

[42:32] we can become like lot who vexed his

[42:34] righteous soul from day to day by seeing

[42:36] and hearing their unlawful

[42:39] Deeds we get caught up in their talk and

[42:43] their sin and it'll distract us from

[42:45] what God wants us to

[42:47] do got to be

[42:50] careful what kind of heart do we

[42:53] have what kind of heart do we have

[43:00] one of the things we ought to pray for

[43:03] is we ought to pray for those who need a

[43:04] heart

[43:07] transplant we need to go from Wayside

[43:09] ground to Stony ground we have people we

[43:12] pray for consistently for their

[43:16] salvation because every time the gospel

[43:18] comes around them it seems like Satan

[43:20] just snatches it up doesn't want it to

[43:22] take Ro got to pray for

[43:25] that for the people that have Stony

[43:28] ground Hearts we ought to pray for

[43:31] them people that have a thorny ground

[43:34] heart we ought to pray for them people

[43:35] that have good ground Hearts we ought to

[43:36] pray for them because Satan doesn't like

[43:38] that they have a good ground

[43:40] heart Satan doesn't like that you're

[43:42] reading the word of God and spending

[43:43] time in prayer he'd like for you to stop

[43:46] that he'd like to distract you from

[43:51] that Satan doesn't like that you're

[43:53] taking the gospel across the world he'd

[43:54] like you to stop that

[43:58] but he's a defeated

[43:59] foe he's a

[44:01] loser he will not win so don't let him

[44:05] give us give him ground to win I was

[44:08] reading in Ephesians this week and I

[44:10] read Ephesians chapter 4 in verse number

[44:13] 27 neither give place to the

[44:18] devil a cartoonist from Indiana his name

[44:21] is Gary Vell and he draws cartoons for

[44:24] the paper and he's a Christian man he

[44:27] took that verse and he drew a

[44:29] picture and I never really stopped to

[44:32] consider

[44:34] it through the picture eyes I mean I

[44:38] thought of the thought but not had

[44:39] picturized it in my mind but he took

[44:42] that verse Ephesians 4:27 neither give

[44:44] place to the devil and you drew an

[44:47] ear a little devil sitting just inside

[44:50] the ear Whispering into a person

[44:57] as he

[44:59] does all the way back in Genesis his Tac

[45:02] has been yeath God

[45:03] said he's a master deceiver he's a

[45:06] Whisperer of

[45:08] Lies We got to be careful to not give

[45:11] him

[45:13] place not give Place need to pray for

[45:16] those who need a heart

[45:18] transplant the word of God is still

[45:20] powerful the word of God needs to be

[45:23] sown we as Christians need to examine

[45:26] our hearts to see what kind of ground we

[45:36] have kind of ground do I have in my

[45:41] heart would you asking

[45:45] that tonight with the Lord's help I'll

[45:52] 139 this morning we we ought to examine

[45:55] our own heart see if the plow of the

[45:58] word of God directed by the Holy Spirit

[46:01] ought to come plow up our heart and make

[46:04] us good ground

[46:08] again how's your heart

[46:10] today how's your

[46:13] heart heavenly father I pray today that

[46:17] your will will be done during this

[46:18] invitation

[46:21] Time Lord the cause of the Gospel the

[46:24] sewing of the word needs to go

[46:29] out Lord I pray that you'd help us

[46:34] hearts to see what kind of ground we are

[46:38] in response to the word of

[46:40] God because if we're not careful the

[46:44] situations of Life the lust of Life the

[46:47] things of life or even Satan himself and

[46:50] his forces could snatch up what the root

[46:53] of word of God wants to be in our lives

[46:58] Ephesians chapter 2 tells us Lord to be

[47:00] rooted and built up established in the

[47:04] Faith Lord the word of God is what

[47:07] changes Our Lives Lord help us to

[47:10] examine our hearts to see what kind of

[47:13] ground we are in your name I pray amen

[51:37] they're super excited about it they've

[51:39] been talking to me preacher can I get

[51:43] we met with Mom yesterday and they were

[51:46] all excited about that so pray for them

[51:49] pray for that family and pray that Mom

[51:51] and Grandma get to come they're planning

[51:53] on trying to come so pray for that next

[51:55] Sunday is family and friend day want to

[51:57] encourage you to invite people if you

[51:58] haven't been encourage you to do that

[52:04] food and so we want to encourage you to

[52:06] do that because if we're going to have
