[0:14] with Thalia Assuris.
[0:16] Good evening everyone. The Boeing
[0:18] company is being accused of withholding
[0:20] critical information that may have
[0:22] prevented a number of plane crashes over
[0:25] the past 20 years, including that of
[0:27] TWWA Flight 800 off the coast of New
[0:30] York's Long Island. Jaclyn Adams has the
[0:32] details.
[0:34] Three years ago, TWWA Flight 800 was
[0:36] blown apart by a center fuel tank

[1:23] justice. Boeing, however, says the 1980
[1:26] study isn't relevant because it looked
[1:28] at the E4B jet, a military plane, and
[1:31] not the civilian 747.
[1:34] >> In this case, it was an honest
[1:35] oversight.
[1:36] >> Still, the National Transportation
[1:37] Safety Board was dismayed and displeased
[1:40] at not getting the study earlier.
[1:42] Critics charge this is the second time
[1:44] Boeing failed to reveal this study. The
[1:46] first was b
