[0:39] Lewinsky case, as in did she have a

[0:41] sexual relationship with the president,

[0:42] was first taken up by the independent

[0:44] council to investigate whether the

[0:46] president or any of his associates had

[0:48] tried to influence her testimony in the

[0:51] Paula Jones sexual harassment case

[0:54] against the president. Much of the

[0:55] public, whatever people's opinion about

[0:57] the president, Miss Lewinsky's personal

[0:58] relationship, has been much less

[1:00] forgiving about the possible obstruction

[1:02] of justice. Today, ABC News has learned

[1:05] that a Democratic fundraiser with

[1:08] connection to the president is suspected

[1:10] of just that. Same Paula Jones case, but

[1:13] involving another woman in Washington.

[1:21] witness in the Paula Jones case has

[1:23] claimed that a top Democratic fundraiser

[1:25] tried to persuade her not to offer

[1:28] damaging information against the

[1:35] according to sources said in her

[1:37] deposition the president made an
