[0:06] A standing ovation as stock prices make

[0:08] a remarkable recovery with a record gain

[0:11] on the first ever billion share trading

[1:16] the dramatic turnaround on a day that

[1:18] strained everyone's ticker. Ray Dan, in

[1:21] all my years of covering Wall Street,

[1:23] I've never seen a stock market like this

[1:25] one going from Black Monday to record

[1:28] Tuesday.

[1:29] Listen to the roar of the crowd.

[1:34] The New York Stock Exchange traded a

[1:36] billion shares today, a record. Then

[1:39] more than 1.1 billion shares, and

[1:41] records too for both the Dow Jones

[1:43] Industrial Average and the NASDAQ. All

[1:46] this even though stocks plunged more

[1:48] than 13% in Hong Kong,
